Hello! We've re-listed our property (June 2025) after taking a five-year break from hosting.

Welcome to your ideal Lake Chelan getaway! This spacious and well-equipped 3,100 square foot property is located on the sought-after "Point" inside Wapato Point Resort in Manson, Washington. With 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, it’s perfect for families or groups seeking comfort, space, and access to the very best the Lake Chelan Valley has to offer.

Perched to take advantage of beautiful westerly views over Manson Bay, this home offers stunning sunsets and a peaceful setting just a short walk from the lake. Inside, the home features a large open-concept great room upstairs and a roomy daylight basement downstairs — plenty of space to gather, relax, or find a quiet corner to unwind.

The property is fully stocked for your stay. The kitchen is newly updated and comes ready with all the cookware, dishes, and appliances you’ll need. Linens, towels, and bedding are provided — just bring your suitcase. Enjoy meals around the dining table or outside on the deck with lake views and fresh mountain air.

Wapato Point Resort is a premier destination offering a full suite of amenities: sandy beaches, a marina, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, mini golf, tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center, walking trails, and more. Bike and watercraft rentals are available onsite, and the surrounding area is packed with attractions — from wineries and farm stands to golf courses, hiking trails, and charming downtown Manson, all just minutes away.

Whether you're here for a relaxing week on the lake or an active family adventure, this home is the perfect base for your Lake Chelan vacation.

Amazing family vacation

Thank you the Overholt family for allowing us to stay in their home. The house was amazing - immaculately clean, well kept and everything we needed at our finger tips. We’ve stayed a several places within wapato point over the last 25 years and this is definitely one of the best experiences we’ve had. Made for an awesome family vacation.

Amazing house with fully stocked kitchen, beautiful sunset view deck, and cozy beds after all the fun was done. We enjoyed the video setups as well for a couple movie nights! Easy walk to the snack shack beach.

Wonderful Vacation Rental

The house exceeded the description and pictures on line. The kitchen was so well stocked, everything was super clean, and the view from the covered deck was gorgeous. We would absolutely rent this home again, but for longer than just the weekend

This house was beautiful, spacious and so quiet. So much room for the whole family and well stocked for cooking. Multiple refrigerators/freezers for food and drinks. We used a buoy that was only 3-4 min walk away to store our boat each evening.

Another great stay!

This is our 2nd year staying in this wonderful house. We all love it and there is plenty of room for everyone. The house has anything you may need. Wapato Point is a great location to vacation at, there is something for everyone. Thanks again for sharing your home with us!

Just like home

We have been coming to this home for many years now each summer to enjoy Wapato Point and Lake Chelan. The house is perfect for families, giving lots of room to play together and find some time for yourself. We particularly enjoy the large deck and the views of the lake - a perfect place to spend a summer evening. Melissa and John are perfect hosts, always prompt and helpful. We have considered this our home away from home for many years and can highly recommend it.

Fantastic Family house

Another great visit

This is our second year staying in this house and it was again a wonderful trip. The house is the perfect size for our group - extended family with 10 people (6 adults, 4 kids). There is enough space for us to spread out and not feel cramped. We love the deck, proximity to the pool and the beach/lake. After dinner we took walks around the point, which is always pretty. The house is fully equipped with everything you need and the owners are great. Especially this year with COVID we were given the flexibility to cancel right up until the day before if we didn't feel comfortable. I really appreciated that. This is a great location and a must-stay house!

A Home Away From Home(but better!!)

I can't say enough good things about this property, the owners and the location. We rented this house to celebrate my parent's 40th wedding anniversary. We had 8 adults and 4 kids ages 8, 6, 3 and 8 months old and it was perfect! THE OWNERS: Very friendly, responsive and understanding, especially as we navigated the COVID 19 climate. For a while we were on the fence on whether we would go (our trip was planned for the first week in July 2020) due to Covid 19. I had a very pleasant conversation with Melissa on the phone who assured me that we could cancel right up to the day before due to the unusual circumstances. That gave me alot of peace of mind, especially since we had planned this trip so far in advance and had not considered a pandemic interfering with plans. THE HOUSE The house was perfectly situated on wapato point with beautiful views of the lake and just a couple minutes walk from the pool, the beach, the boat rental company and all of the amenities that wapato point has to offer. When we weren't out and about we enjoyed playing badminton and corn hole on our own grassy lawn. It came fully stocked with everything we might need, including a pack n play, a baby gate and highchair. My girls enjoyed the coloring books provided and the many games. Everyone enjoyed being there. We also could use the garage, which was nice since we had 3 cars. But even if we hadn't, all 3 cars could easily fit in their driveway. THE LOCATION If you are looking for a good vacation spot for a family by Lake Chelan then Wapato Point is your stop! It is a beautiful peninsula that is very family friendly with everything you could want for a lake vacation--we didn't even need our cars! We had access to a private beach, multiple pools, a boat and wave runner rental company (Shoreline Rental) and we bought a week long family pass that allowed us to use kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, mini golf, fishing, pickle ball, bikes and more for unlimited amounts of time. It was the perfect location for a family reunion!

Great location & gracious hosts

The location of the house is second to none. Quick walk to beach or one of the many pools. 5min drive to downtown Manson and all it has to offer. Melissa and John were fantastic hosts. Responded quickly when we had questions. Definitely want to come back

Large home, perfect for family get togethers!

We spent 3 nights here with 6 adults and 2 toddlers. The home was perfect for the family and included enough room for all of us to have space. Easy walk to beach and pool. Highly recommended!

Another wonderful week at Wapato Point.

We have been coming to Wapato Point for many years, and we were lucky to find this home as a place for our family to gather. The hosts are terrific - very helpful and responsive - and the home has lots to offer. It is an easy walk (or bike ride) to everything on the Point, especially the beach and the pool. There is lots of room to play games (card, puzzle, video or otherwise!), and plenty of space to spread out. It has a wonderful downstairs recreation area that the kids have enjoyed for years. It also has a nice deck we often use for our evening dinners, and to enjoy watching the sunsets over the mountains. We are looking forward to coming back!

Perfect family vacation

We love Wapato Point and needed a house to handle our party of 10 - three families total with 4 kids ranging from 4 to 11 years. This house had everything we needed - space for everyone to have quiet time when needed, close proximity to beach/lake and pool, great deck with west-facing views of the lake and mountains and sunset. There were more than enough dishes and utensils, and other kitchen necessities. Towels and bedding were good, washer and dryer handled all our loads and the place was clean. We will definitely stay here again.

Best family vacation ever!

We had a wonderful time in your beautiful home! We had 12 people and it always felt like everyone had plenty of room! There is so much to do at Wapato Point, no one wanted to go home. We will definitely be coming back to stay at this house. The owners are great and always replied quickly to any inquiries I had. Thanks for giving us such a great place to make such wonderful family memories!

Vacation extraordinaire

This house is in an idyllic location on Wapato Point. It is beautifully furnished with very comfy beds and linens including towels. The kitchen is stocked with flatware and utensils so you can cook for large groups. The deck and upstairs open concept living area with the kitchen are where memories are made.,an absolutely beautiful space including a view of the lake. We have rented this home many times and hope to continue!

Great home for a family vacation

This home was perfect for a family get together. The living room is really open, with easy access to the kitchen and outdoor deck for everyone to hang out. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cookware and utensils. The dining table was large and fit everyone to host meals and play games. The master bedroom is located on the main floor and the bed was really comfy. We stayed during Memorial Day weekend and having the AC was nice! The bottom floor has three additional bedrooms, as well as a family room with two pull out futons. It was nice to be able to do laundry after hanging out at the lake. There was plenty of parking and Melissa was responsive and helpful. It was hard to find the place where we were supposed to empty all the trash upon check out but we called the front desk and they directed us. Overall, the place is comfortable, clean and well-maintained.

We've loved and cared for this home for over 20 years. In 2020, we made Wapato Point our full-time residence and began thoughtfully remodeling many areas of the house. The kitchen was fully updated with new cabinetry, quartz countertops, and GE Profile appliances. We also installed maple hardwood floors and created a cozy downstairs space that's perfect for movie nights.

September of 2024, we relocated to the Wenatchee area.
