This tranquil retreat features 2 cozy bedrooms with a king and queen bed, a stylish bathroom with a shower, and a lovely living room with an additional king size air mattress and a single cot. Immerse yourself in the wonderful ambiance of this charming getaway 1/2 way between Pittsburgh and Erie just minutes from the 79 exit 130. The private 150 acre lake awaits you. Bring your boat, or enjoy the pedal boat that is on the dock. Check out the multi-use trail for a nice walk or bike ride. Feel free to reach out to us during your stay - we're happy to suggest local spots to check out, our little country town has a lot to offer within a 20ish minute radius!

Growing up in Stoneboro, short term rentals on the lake were never offered, I am so excited to be able to host here, so that others can create memories to last their lifetime too. I LOVE reading about big moments in my guests' lives - one couple got engaged and another found out they were pregnant this season, many guests enjoyed the sunsets, spent time with family and friends, and were able to relax in our small town. Hearing the positive feedback is my absolute favorite thing about hosting, but I'd have to say my second favorite thing is putting together flowers for the table.
I love to hear from guests, and I am happy to answer any questions or provide suggestions, but I allow the guests to initiate conversations, as I know some people would prefer not to be bothered during their vacations! I'll keep my messages to a minimum, unless the guests would like more interaction.

What is the best part of this neighborhood? The private lake - obviously! You'll never feel overcrowded when you stay at one of our cottages, or even if you have a dock only. If you can stay on the weekdays, it's very possible you will be the only one out on the water. Weekends have more activity, but you won't run out of space to enjoy!
Don't want to spend time on the water? There's more here to enjoy! We have a private multiuse trail that runs around the lake that you can walk, bike, ride golf carts or atvs on. There are hiking opportunities in the woods.
The town has a beautiful park and a nice restaurant in walking distance. There are coffee shops, ice cream shops, gas stations with made to order food and additional restaurants just a short drive away. Walmart will deliver to this area if you want to have groceries delivered.

The properties I host are the only ones around feature direct lake access to a PRIVATE 150acre lake (Sandy Lake if you are looking at a map) that has no horsepower restrictions - come, bring your boat, enjoy fishing and water sports.
At this time, there is a pedal boat at The Fish Head for guest use. We hope to have power boats available for rent in the future, but do not at this time.
