We are excited for others to find this house when they are looking for a great house to have their vacations because This house is amazing! Right on the beach! I still can’t get over how easy it is to step right on the beach straight from the back deck! Very unique for our beach on Fripp Island these days. No Long Beach accesses to maneuver and just the stairs off of the back deck. We’d love to have you stay with us again, Kathy

Thank you for your feedback. As you mentioned in your message to us, the interior of the home was “great,” and we’re glad you enjoyed your stay overall. Regarding the exterior concerns, the deck had been completely replaced approximately two weeks before your arrival, which likely explains the few nails that were found outside. We take safety seriously and addressed this immediately. There were multiple outdoor seating options available, and two pieces of outdoor furniture were found to be damaged. Those items have since been removed and replaced. We have also repaired the exterior light fixture that was reported as broken. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention, as it allows us to make improvements for future guests.

We visit Fripp Island. This house is in the ideal beachfront location. Decks and direct beach access were great. Primary bedroom suite on the top floor was HUGE. Host was very helpful and responsive.

Wonderful, spacious house right on the beach. We loved the big porch and the well-stocked kitchen. This house puts you away from the crowds near the club. Kathy was great communicating and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much Blake! I agree with you. This location is amazing!! Right on Tarpon but feels so quiet and secluded. I think the big yard and longer driveway helps. We just love that You guys were our first renters! Couldn’t have been more perfect!! Come back when you can stay longer. We’d love for you to have more fun on the beach 🌞, Kathy

We had a wonderful time, but I was severely disappointed with the house itself. The view and location are great. The house is in disrepair. Some of the decking had been replaced or in the process of. The house smelled of mildew. Upon arriving, the entry is in the garage underside. The lights are falling out of the ceiling, it’s filthy, the stairwell is filthy and consumed with cobwebs. The outside was unkept, the grass was 2 feet tall, trash on side and underside of the house. The house has outdated and worn furniture. It needs painted, the vents are rusted and sliding around the floor. The towels and wash cloths are stained and worn out. The throw pillows are soiled. The upstairs furniture was ripped up from animals and carpets reeked of mildew and animals. Again, great location, embarrassing to have my family drive 500 miles to come to that house for the price! Called host immediately upon arrival, never received a response.

Wow! What an amazing place! The pictures posted are beautiful but this home is even better in person! There are so many areas within the house that allow you those amazing ocean views and if you want to be a little closer you can step onto the incredibly large deck area on the back of the home. The living room was large, cozy and open and allowed for everyone to be comfortable. We found it to be very clean and the kitchen was stocked with every pot, pan, glass and utensil you could possibly need. Kathy was so friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with. She was quick to respond to our questions and made us feel very welcomed! It was so difficult to pack up and leave such an amazing place! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend others do the same. You will not be disappointed. Thank you again for sharing your home with us!

This house is extremely rundown. It needs repair work/ facelift of the exterior and an overhaul of the interior. The second floor deck had a lot of rotten wood hanging from underneath. Furniture old, worn, and very outdated. Poor quality dishware. Frying pans could not be used due to severe peeling Teflon. Outdoor grill was filthy and barely usable. No window treatment in master bathroom facing directly into neighbor’s windows. When we arrived, we had no hot water. Management did send someone out the following morning, so we finally had warm water by noon of our second day. The positives were the proximity to the beach, and the main deck had been replaced with Trek decking. We expected so much more at the price we paid for this home. Very disappointed.

The house is not run down! It just sold for $2.5 million dollars. It is not run down. The hot water works just fine. The breaker had tripped. And we went by to see what you were referring to about the deck. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the deck either. Ocean front Beach houses take a beating, of course! The salty water can make the wood not look fresh and new like a house that is inland and in a neighborhood. This house is wonderful, as described by all of the other guests who have stayed with us. Sorry you didn’t have fun at this awesome location and house.

This home is beautifully located on the beach, just steps down to it, and perfect for my two daughters and their families.Each family had their own side of the house. The upstairs mbr, and bath are soo big and there is an additional living room area up there as well. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. fyi- minimal bathroom toiletries. Lots of space for 11 of us. The home needs some help outside with a bit of trash around and under it. A good sweeping under the house would help. Communication was very good with the mgt co who responded quickly to some plumbing issues, even tho the plumber came out 3 times! I would rent this home again, but probably not pay the club fee of 13% of the rental to get the amenity cards. We did not use the pools enough to make it worth it. Great location, space and beach!!
