St. Ignace is offers access to excellent parks and trails nearby, including Straits State Park, Gros Cap Nature Preserve, Pontiac Trail Head, and Marquette Park. Be sure to visit Castle Rock Campground to set up a campsite for a memorable family outing. Or, take a trip to Mackinac Island - home to a variety of historic attractions, as well as over 70 miles of trails. Paths are shared by hikers, bikers, and even equestrians exploring the natural wonder of the park.
