This sun-drenched home is in a quiet location in charming Bellport Village, one property in from the Great South Bay. A 15 minute walk/3 minute bike ride to both town and the marina and ferry over to HoHum beach (a beautiful private beach on Fire Island accessible by ferry for residents and their guests; please check with Bellport Village to learn about village ID's and ferry access). Other Village amenities include sailing lessons, golf, tennis, yoga, shops, galleries, half-day children's summer camp in July and restaurants. Bellport's quaint village and marina are home to summer-time concerts where villagers and out-of-town visitors mingle and feel far away from New York City to the West (a 1.5 hour commute by car or train) and the Hamptons, 18+ miles to the East.

Located in a quiet family neighborhood, this is not a party home but is the perfect place to enjoy time together with your friends and family! The home has been substantially renovated. Renovation highlights: new windows, new kitchen, new master bath, refinished floors throughout the house, new second-story deck with dining table and beautiful bay views, and new 50' heated swimming pool. The main floor includes a large living room, half bath, washer/dryer, study, new and fully-equipped kitchen, dining room (table seats up to 12), and a large (25' x 13') sunny screened-in-porch with modest water views + views of the backyard and pool. The second floor features three bedrooms: 1 king with water views and a new en suite bath with walk-in shower, 1 queen, 2 twin beds (extra-long, can be combined to make a king); a second bath with tub/shower and double sink vanity, and large deck w/ dining table - perfect for taking in sunrise and sunset views over the bay. Finished basement/ play space. Other amenities: an outdoor shower, gas grill, cable TV, high-speed internet, central A/C, outdoor furniture, 1-car garage and over half an acre of land, beach umbrella and chairs, and bicycles.

Very comfortable family home

We rented this home for a 3 week stay on a visit from Australia to see our family and grandchildren in Bellport. It’s very comfortable and family friendly. We loved the well equipped kitchen as we love cooking for our family and friends. It’s also very well located and we enjoyed our walks around the neighbourhood and into the village. We were very well looked after by our hosts and Judy and appreciated their prompt and friendly attention to our needs.

A new fav get away

We absolutely adored this home and escape. It truly has everything you need for a beautiful Summer escape. The pool is perfect and long for morning swims. Judy was readily available to help with any questions or needs. The house was very clean and the kitchen fully stocked with loads of equipment. We stayed away from the gas grill as it has seen better day, but the charcoal grill suited our needs just fine. Can't wait to come back.

Comfortable and quiet getaway

Even with construction going on in the house two doors down this house was quiet and beautiful. You can’t beat the view from the top balcony and the kitchen is perfect! Beds are comfortable too and the house is roomy. Great for a group. We ran out of garbage bags and toilet paper when nearing the end of our stay and there wasn’t any extra in the house for us to use which was inconvenient. I contacted our hostess via text message and didn’t receive a response. I was aware that she had other things that were more important going on though, so we just bought our own. We would have loved to meet her though! The little town of Bellport was so adorable and definitely worth exploring and the walk down to the docks was beautiful. Overall, I would stay here again.

Perfect beach house with everything you’ll ever need to have a memorable family vacation!

Wow!! What a week. Sad to be home! From the moment we arrived and were greeted warmly by Judy (the property manager) with a bottle of red wine generously provided by Deborah and Michael, the owners, we felt right at home. Was a real treat to arrive late from a cross country flight with young kids and get a tour of the house before the vacation started! Knew how everything worked and where things all were from the get-go! House is immaculate with every household item and amenity you can ask for. Bathrooms and kitchens were stocked well, living room with expansive windows is equipped with a smart tv which is great for late night movie nights with the kids. Started our morning with a cup of coffee on the large deck off the master bedroom which has beautiful views of the massive grassy yard and the bay. Sun room is a great addition off the dining room which is a great place to read the paper listening to music (there’s a sound system there) or have an impromptu dance party with the family! Room has all the beach chairs and umbrellas you’ll ever need for the nearby beaches or just to sit out on the lawn while barbecuing. We can’t wait to return next year and hope to stay even longer, there’s so much to do and see around Bellport, we feel as if we only scratched the surface. Thanks for a great family vacation and some wonderful new memories. Adam and Deb!

Beautifully Maintained Home in Bellport

This home is perfect in every way. Sparkling clean, kitchen has everything you could think of, comfy living room, fireplace in dining area, half bath on 1st floor complete with washer dryer and a huge sun room. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Beds are beyond comfortable and master has a deck to watch the sunrise. Owner is super responsive and property manager is always available to help or answer questions. Quiet street, walk to bay, and short walk to The pretty village of Bellport. I highly recommend this unique and comfortable home.

Excellent house to stay in Bellport

The house is very nice and in good condition. The beds are comfortable. We had a few problems with the sink and stove but the manager was right on them. This is our second stay there and we would stay again in the future.

Comfortable and very well located.

We selected this home as the size suited our needs. It was comfortable and spacious on a beautiful piece of land. The property manager was very easy to deal with - we only contacted her for drop off and pick up of keys, no issues!

Quiet setting with minimal traffic

This home is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The home itself is dated but definitely adequate to meet the needs of a family. Beds are comfortable. The owners and Judy welcomed us with a bottle of wine and cheese/crackers, which was a nice surprise and much appreciated! Thank you!!!

Wonderful immaculate home close to everything

We had such a lovely time staying in this comfortable home within walking distance to all that Bellport Village has to offer. This quiet peaceful home had great flow, with separate living, dining, and screened in porch so the whole family could spread out and enjoy multiple activities. Property manager Judy was friendly and attentive to all our needs. The house itself is remarkably well-equipped, and the kitchen was so well organized that everything was located just where you'd expect to find it in a well-functioning household. We needed a small repair done during our stay and a friendly handyman showed up within the hour to perform the repair, we couldn't have asked for better service. The bed linens were top quality high thread count, it was like being in a hotel. Plus the view of the Bay from the upstairs back deck was breathtaking. All in all a terrific experience in a meticulously maintained home.

Lovely comfortable house close to town

I would just like to say........visitors from the UK take note! There is more to the state of New York than just Manhattan Island......try Long Island for a beach holiday, its great!! We recently visited the USA from the UK staying a few days with our son in Forest Hills, a week in Bellport, and a few more days in Forest Hills. Bellport is an easy drive from Forest Hills, taking less than an hour. The house was really comfortable with everything a long-haul visitor could require, including lots of towels, beach towels and four bikes! The bedding and beds were very luxurious, especially the super king in the master bedroom! And the balcony off the master bedroom was a treat; so nice to be able to sit and watch the morning sun glinting off the sea. The town itself is within easy walking distance of the house, as are the shops and restaurants, which was why I chose Bellport as opposed to other towns where a car appeared to be necessary to get around. And the town is really pretty with its small harbour, neat gardens and pretty flowers. The property owner was very generous with information, and the property manager was most helpful, bringing round supplies of bin bags, washing up liquid etc as soon as we contacted her. A very relaxing place to stay, and so quiet too!

Unsuspected Job change - Perfect Temporary Home - A++ Location Bellport Village Better than Hamptons

Having to relocated from NJ on very short notice for a new job, we were in search for a temporary home while we searched to a home to buy. We began our stay here Nov 1 with our two dogs. Only an hour ride from mid town tunnel. About the place: it is completely furnished down to towels, kitchen appliances, and bbq grill. (No need to bring anything but if needed, like in our case, we brought all of our belongings from NJ and stores them in finished basement). Although this is an ideal summer house, it's extremely tranquil, peaceful and an amazing getaway for the winter. A 2 minute walk to bellport bay, and amazing full waterviews from the backyard and the porch from the master bedroom. You are On a culdosac where most neighbors are not around during the winter and the few that are, are amazing. I personally grew up only 5 minutes away from this rental, and it truly showcases what Long Island and bellport is all about. 3 great restaurants all within a 5 min walk. Grocery store, pizza place and deli all in town again 5 min walk. The views are picture perfect, views of bellport dock, the "new inlet", and all of bellport "ho hum" beach (ferry 5 min walk). I could only imagine living here during the summer as it would be a naturists/outdoor persons dream. At night you get Beautiful sky views (Stars galore). This house a artist/photographers dream. Morning sunrises and Afternoon sunsets are like no other. We currently enjoy the wood burning fireplace daily, and the outdoor porch during the day(the sun keeps in warm enough during the day). More than anything, is the location. I lived in long island for 20 years and have finally returned after being away for over a decade. I would chose Bellport Village over the Hamptons anyday, and the proof we purchased our new house minutes away. Bellport village is a secret unknown to most visitors but one that is well worth coming to see. Wonderful Stay in Bellport

We had a wonderful one week vacation as part of a family reunion in Bellport staying at this house. It is in excellent condition, with a large kitchen and eating area and a large porch where we ate breakfast and dinner most days. We played croquet in a good sized yard. The beds were comfortable, the house was convenient to town, the house was very clean, and from the master bedroom there is a view of the bay. Great place to stay.

Hi Debbie, What a fantastic weekend we had at your house. It was truly perfect for our needs and we are three cooks (my husband just BBQs) who were all impresses by how well stocked it is for a rental. We also love all your choices for bedding and dishes and decorating. We made more many incredible salads and had a certified "foodie" weekend. We truly loved it!!! Just so you know we broke the bottom screen in the front door by accident so I left some money and a note for Judy on the desk in the front room. If you need more $, just let me know. I can totally see the care you put into making it as nice and comfortable as possible! Best, Kim

Great home!

Spent a long weekend in October. Home was perfect for our family. Our daughter lives in Long Island and we were able to connect with her and her boyfriend, and his family. Convenient location. Historic bellport area has very nice restaurants. Sunrise from the master bedroom deck was beautiful. Enjoyed meals in the enclosed sunroom. The property manager is very helpful. Hope to visit again.

Perfect!

My husband and I stayed for two nights recently to consider it for a rental from Jan-May. We saw three other properties in Bellport and none of them came even close in comparison. The house is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood with a large, private lot that has some distant water views. It has three very nice sized bedrooms each with a large closet (master has walk in) closet. All of the furnishings are new. The linens are also new and very high quality (great new large/fluffy towels and comfy sheets). Everything is very neat and spotlessly clean. We loved that it was walking distance from town (10 minutes). Judy, the property manager, is very pleasant and helpful and the owners are a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend it, but we've got it from Jan through mid May.

Excellent Rental in Bellport !

My family and I stayed in this house for a weekend in July and absolutely loved it. The home is immaculate and decorated great. The beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect ! The owners and property manager are so nice and made the rental process very easy. I have family in that area and plan to book here again. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a rental in the Bellport area.

Our family of five lives in Boulder, Colorado but has vacationed in Bellport for the past 30 years. We initially commuted to Bellport from New York City on summer weekends. When our three boys were young, we greatly appreciated the easy 1-1.5 hour commute and the many Village of Bellport amenities. We enjoyed Bellport so much that we have continued to visit every year since moving to Boulder in 1999. Our sons participated in the wonderful Bellport day camp, and the whole family has enjoyed the world-class sailing program made available through the yacht club and excellent tennis and golf lessons from the Village of Bellport Country Club. In many ways, Bellport is our home and we are thrilled to own a vacation home in a very special Village of Bellport location.

There you'll find a snack shack and showers on the bayside and the all-important (if you have children) lifeguard stand at the ocean. The beach stretches for miles to the east and west. Bellport's quaint village and marina are home to summer-time concerts where villagers and out-of-town visitors mingle and feel far away from New York City, which is only 65 miles to the west.

Please note that the ferry is available to Bellport Village ID holders and their guests and runs seasonally. See bellportvillage dot org for information about the ferry schedule. Village IDs are available to renters of this property (check with the Village for details, which can change from year to year). Village ID holders and their guests may also play golf and tennis at the Bellport Country Club.
