Amazing classic wrap around porch with rocking chairs and tables to enjoy meals on the porch or sit and enjoy the breeze. The interior of the house is spectacular, and has 5 bedrooms, sleeps 14 in beds . 3 blocks to beach and 7 blocks to boardwalk in Wildwood Crest. Garage full of bicycles and beach chairs for enjoyment. ( Sorry-this family house is not available to adults under age 25, no senior weeks or prom groups)

We had a wonderful time with our family. We loved the location (close to beach and bakery), yard, porch and the outside shower. The garage filled with beach accessories, bikes and even a beach cart and wagon were SO convenient for us and so appreciated. The house was very charming and had plenty of space for all of us. House was perfect and would definitely rent again!

Very comfortable & extremely spacious home. They supply you with so many things you would have in your own home.The outside porch is very relaxing,we also enjoyed many of our family meals there too.The outside shower is amazing!!! Walking distance to so many places.Nice quiet family neighborhood.

The house is in a perfect location. If you stay here, you won't need to drive the entire time. Very nice yard for pets. The shower upstairs was one of my favorite things about the house. The bathroom is so pretty and the water pressure is fantastic. Overall, a really nice experience for a beach getaway!

It really is the best porch

The description of this unique home was very accurate. No surprises. We loved the history of the home and the front rich was perfect for morning coffee, family dinners and night time relaxing! We loved that our dogs could join us on our vacation. The back yard was perfect for them. Check in was super easy and owners were helpful with questions we had prior to trip. All appliances worked well. Very spacious home. ACs kept the bedrooms and house cool during a heat wave. Garage was filled with beach chairs and bikes that were in good condition. We enjoyed morning bike rides in the boardwalk. The walk to beach was not too bad and the house is right around the corner from a delicious bakery where you can get fresh apple fritters! We even took the long walk to the boardwalk a couple nights and got lots of steps in. This is the perfect home for an old school jersey shore beach house! Highly recommend.

The house is located in an incredible neighborhood and is super walkable to the beach, boardwalk, and local shops. However, the house is quite old and there are a lot of quirks that come with that. If you’re expecting perfect cleanliness, modern furnishings, and comfortable beds — this is NOT the place for you. We had a lot of issues after we checked in, some were addressed by the hosts, some were not. We felt pretty disappointed overall and that’s reflected in our star ratings for different aspects. There were not enough towels or toilet paper for the amount of guests the house advertises so plan accordingly. We felt that this was a huge oversight, especially for a family vacation rental at the beach. The window units are old and incredibly loud so be aware in case you’re a light sleeper. Also, the fridge was broken upon arrival and never got fixed our entire stay. Hosts completely stopped responding on our second to last day. Not as advertised!!

Best of the Crest

Can’t beat the location. Massive porch. Terrific outdoor shower, private, hot water, lots of hooks, bench, great water pressure. Kitchen had everything you would need. Rooms are good sized, house is in a quiet neighborhood. We had a mini family reunion and everyone loved the house. Thank you to our hosts!

The BEST porch in Wildwood

We were three families with kids ranging from 4 to 16 years old. We enjoyed this lovely traditional shore house over a long Labor Day weekend. It is ideally situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, close to the beach, and just a short walk to the best bakery in Wildwood! We enjoyed everything about our stay here and hope to stay here again next summer!

great porch and location

This home is great for a larger group. I stayed with my brother and his family - 7 of us altogether. We used the porch for family meals and games. The garage has multiple beach chairs, bikes, boogie boards, beach combers, sand toys - all you could want! It was our 2nd stay and we hope to be back again!

Family and Friends - Music Festival and Beach Stay 2024

We had a wonderful time at the house. It was big enough for all of us. Everything we needed was in the house for us and all of our events or activities were in walking distance. We made great memories hanging on the porch and enjoying time together. Thank you for letting us use your home!

Best weekend at the shore

It was such a gift to be able to return to the beach house from my childhood! The porch is still the best one in the Crest, and the house hasn’t lost any of its charm. We just love this home and the memories it has.

First visit to Wildwood

We had a great time at the house. It was close to the beach, and easy to get to the boardwalk, a quiet neighborhood we felt comfortable in, easy access to groceries, and with a porch that we had great fun sitting on.

Best porch stay

As advertised the porch makes the property. The house is very old but that gives it a unique and comfortable feel. Plenty of room for the ten of us. The house could use a little work on the upstairs shower but it still did the trick. No complaints here!

The listing doesn’t do it justice

This is a beautiful historic home. Perfect for the beach and with everything that you could need in terms of deck chairs and boogie boards. We had a group of 8 (4 kids - 12, 12, 14 and 17) and the house still felt spacious. We loved the veranda and loved the outdoor shower even more. Try Rick’s seafood in N Wildwood if you’re looking for great sea food. Order the night before and eat it on the porch.

Charming Older Cottage

The house looked so lovely, smelled great, looked clean. All went very well for all but one who was allergic to something in the house??? He had to sleep outside in the Jeep camper. We knew they rent to dog people and that was fine as we have dogs. If there had been cats there that could have been the issue, but who knows. Our son in law has allergy problems, but nothing as bad as this ever occurred. He loved the porch! Thanks

Family Vacation

The vacation rental was exactly what we needed for our family vacation. We had 8 adults and our dog and there was plenty of space for all of us. We spent most of our time either on the beach or sitting and enjoying the awesome large porch. Learning the history of the house was beautiful and to see original pieces inside was priceless. The communication between the owners was prompt. It was our first time in Wildwood Crest and thrilled to have rented this beautiful historic home.

My third time staying at this beautiful Old home just two blocks from the beach, the owners are polite and friendly, easy to reach if necessary to make sure you have a wonderful time in Wildwood Crest.

Lovely time in Lavender

We had a wonderful time at this home. It's very well maintained despite its age and you can tell there's a lot of love here. It's situated in a great location just a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk. It was perfect for our family and dogs.

Great time

There was some dog hair from the people before us, but overall it was very clean. The location was great for going to the beach. The porch was fantastic. We were out there every morning and every night. We discovered a great bakery around the corner from are house and went there three times for their Apple fritters they are delicious. I would highly recommend this house. Thank you again we had a great time.

Best Porch

No exaggeration, it is a great porch. We spent many hours talking, eating, reading and just relaxing on the porch. The house is very old and dark but it has a quaint relaxing feel to it. The inside shower is an antique tube updated but the outdoor shower was so wonderful we never used the indoor one. We were close to the beach and the Boardwalk which was great with small children. Also Britton’s is right around the corner for coffee and their amazing apple fritters.
