Craving a sweet treat? Rita's Italian Ice - Frozen Custard is just a hop, skip and a jump away. Hungry for some 'real' food? Earn your lunch or dinner and walk to Zapata's Taco Shop, Umi Sushi, Korean Garden, Island Delight or JAKs Brewery & Taproom approximately 6 blocks away.
For the Grill Master we have an easy-to-use Weber gas Grill. BBQ your favorite foods on the deck while others enjoy lawn games below. Eat at the picnic table with it's cheerful red umbrella, on the two seat glider or at the patio dining set with comfy cushions.
Inside, enjoy the upper two levels of this three story house. You will have access to the main level and second story as well as the deck directly off the Kitchen and the back yard. Past guests have commented on how much they enjoy having so much space - 2,400 sq ft!

This 5 bedroom & 2-1/2 bath vacation rental is conveniently located near a Greenbelt & 3 pocket parks with swings, slides and climbing structures. Light & Bright with views of the Front Range Mountains! Our Vacation Rental offers four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper level and one bedroom next to a half bath on the main level.
The main level bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser with two matching nightstands and a large bookcase. It is conveniently located next to the 1/2 bath.
The Master Suite, located on the upper level, has a king size bed, fun window seat, 58" Smart TV, ceiling fan and an en suite with walk-in closet and 5 piece bath. Experience ultimate relaxation in the deep, soothing soaking tub... the perfect way to end an invigorating day of hiking, biking or rafting!
Next to the Master Suite is the corner bedroom nicknamed the "Ocean Room". This spacious bedroom offers fabulous views of the Front Range Mountains, and fun artisan mirror, large dresser, 2 night stands, and a tall bookcase.
The middle bedroom, nicknamed the "Tree Room", is conveniently located next to the hall bathroom and offers views of the Front Range Mountains. a Queen size bed, elegant tree art work, two nightstands, bookcase, dresser and sunrise alarm clock.
The fourth bedroom on the upper level is a corner room, which boasts views of the Mountains, a vibrating Queen size bed, 50" Smart TV, two night stands and a walk-in closet. It is conveniently located next to the hall bath.
The upper level hall bathroom is light & bright and offer 2 sinks and a tub/shower combo. Also located on the upper level is a linen closet and laundry room with full size washer & dryer. We provide laundry detergent in the event you would like to wash clothes.
Working Vacation? You will enjoy the electric, hi-tech sit/stand office desk complete with USB ports, phone charger and computer monitor (not shown in the video)!
Entertain your friends and family in the spacious Dining room, or socialize with your friends and family in this open concepts Kitchen/Family room or relax in the Living Room with a good book : ) or BBQ on the spacious back deck!
Do you kids like board games? If so, they will enjoy the numerous board games located in the Living room or they can enjoy some fresh air and play the two outdoor games in the backyard - Corn hole, otherwise known as Bean Bag Toss and the Ladder toss game!
Drive 15 miles west and experience the Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Cave of the Winds and endless hiking trails!
The owners, Wendy & John, reside in the separate walkout basement apartment. We access the basement apartment through a separate entrance in the back. We seldom use the backyard except to grill on our own personal grill. We rarely meet our guests, but when we do it is usually in the driveway... and we are happy to answer any question. Guests can always contact us via text, phone or through VRBO.
Although we reside in the separate walkout basement, we lead busy lives as we both work and travel when we can. In the event we are out of town, our cleaners live nearby and are available if you should need anything. We are quiet, rarely entertain, do not party or smoke, nor do we have any pets.
NOTE:
1) Additional guest fees of $10 pp /night apply for over 6 guest to cover utility consumption & higher cleaning cost.

John is a native of Colorado and works at Focus on the Family (a local ministry) & Wendy works part-time at the US Air Force Academy. We love to travel to new places and are avid cruisers! We also enjoy hiking, walking, reading and hanging out with friends and visiting our grandchildren who all live in CO.
We have had our vacation rental for over 8 years & love hosting families & groups. We don't always meet our guests face to face, but when we do we are always happy to chat and answer any questions they have 😄

Our vacation rental is located in a safe, upscale neighborhood close to pocket parks and a green belt with a walking / biking path. It is also close to dozens of amazing restaurants, coffee shops, great shopping, Gripstone Climbing Gym, a Miniature Golf Course, Sports events & an IMAX Theater. It is less than a 30 minute drive to Garden of the Gods, USAF Academy, Peterson AFB & the Olympic Training Center.
The second level boasts amazing views of the majestic Front Range mountains! We chose this house partially because of the spacious Master suite which has a King bed size bed, walk-in closet, spacious bathroom with 2 sinks, a shower and a soaking tub. Also located on the upper level are 3 Bedrooms with fabulous Mt. Views, a spacious bathroom with 2 sinks, a tub/shower combo, and a laundry room.
The main level offers a bedroom with a Queen size bed, large dresser and bookcase. It is conveniently located next to the half bath. Also located on the main level is the Eat-in Kitchen, Family room, Dining room and Living room. The well designed Kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and large pantry. The Kitchen opens to the Family room which has 2 couches, a love seat recliner, a flip-the-switch fireplace and 65" Smart TV.
The separate Dining room is conveniently located between the Kitchen and Living room and has a table that seats 8 people. The Living room offers dozens of games along with a comfortable couch and 2 fun swivel chairs. Also located in the Living room is an electric, hi-tech sit / stand office desk with USB ports and a phone charger.
The brand new, larger deck (currently not pictured), is located directly off the Kitchen and has dinette set for 6 with comfortable cushions (located in the deck box) and an umbrella to shade the sun : ) We also have a picnic area for our guest in the backyard w/ a picnic bench and umbrella!
