Beach Escape On The Inlet

This Family owned 5br Beachhouse sits on the Inlet, one block from the Ocean. Sit and watch the sunset over the Inlet in one of 9 rocking chairs on 3 porches with the smell of steaks cooking on the gas grill while the kids catch fish and crabs from the dock. In the evenings everyone can enjoy the Internet and Cable tv, or bring your favorite movies to play on the dvd player. There are two separate Heat Pumps for upstairs and downstairs. There are 2 full kitchens, one upstairs and one down. Two Full size refrigerators, ovens, toasters, microwaves, blenders, coffee pots and one dishwasher. There is an outside shower and two picnic tables. You are just a short walk to the Garden City Pier, Arcades, Grocery, Restaurants and Gift shops.

Beach trip 2023

Plenty of room for our family of 9! Prior to, and during our stay, Michael was in touch to make sure we didn't have any issues, told us about events in the area, etc. We enjoyed our stay!!

Great stay

Great location, clean house, all the amenities you could ask for! Michael was very helpful and gave great ideas of things to see and do while visiting! Will definitely go back for another vacation!

Great for large groups

We loved staying in this home. It was accommodatijg for our large family. With 12 people total including a 15 month old this home was very spacious. Michael was prompt with his responses to questions and gelpful in many ways. He was able to give us suggestions and was very knowledgeable in the area. I will definitely consider staying here again. 😌

Great Place

Absolutely LOVED our stay there!!! Great location, beautiful views from the dock. It was my fiance's first time EVER going on a week long vacation a d he can't wait to go back!! We all had a fantastic time and the owner is super nice and easy to work with!! Highly recommended!!!

Family Vacation

Perfect for family vacation. Two floors allows everyone to have their own space. A dock into the inlet provided plenty of entertainment as well as a very short walk to the beach and pier. Enjoy nights in a rocking chair on the porch. Michael was wonderful to work with. He provided information on how to make the best of your stay. I would most definitely return if we visit again.

Spacious

We visited this property with myself, my spouse, our children, two of my sisters, their spouses and children. The house had plenty of room for everyone we didn't feel cramped at all! The upstairs and downstairs are essentially two separate units which was wonderful for us since we had young children who needed naps. The home itself is an older home, but it is very clean and has plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and 2 coffee pots and 2 kuregs. There are two kitchens, which was also great. When one family had children that woke up a bit earlier than the others, we didn't have to disturb them to get breakfast started. The house is a short walk to the beach, and the public access to the beach is right at the end of the block. The pier had fun activities to keep the kids busy. The best part was the owner who went above and beyond to help us out however he could! Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone, especially to larger groups of people.

Absolutely Perfect

This is the perfect place for a large family gathering or an intimate weekend for two. My wife and I celebrated the holiday week with family and had a wonderful time. We had 10 adults and 3 children with room for a few more. A short walk to the beach or pier and other activities. The private deck on the inlet or newly renovated back porch is perfect to enjoy amazing sunsets. The outside shower was a hit with everyone and great after a day at the beach. It's a very short drive to anything you may need to enjoy your stay. We plan on making it a yearly destination!

Amazing place

Our family stayed at this amazing place. We had 9 adults and 3 children, there was more than enough room for all of us. The close proximity to the beach was nice with the little ones as you could make the walk several times a day if needed. The owners were so easy to work with? We are already planning for next year. Was perfect for our family gathering!

I rented this house with my siblings and our families (kids ages 11-19) and it was perfect. The girls fell in love with the bedroom by the back porch and immediately claimed it. (My brother also wanted it-- but he girls won.) The boys opted out of a bedroom and decided to take over the upstairs living room. There was plenty of space for everyone and the downstairs remained quiet for anyone who needed to sleep or get away from the crowd. Drinking my morning coffee on a quiet dock is one of my favorite parts of a Garden City trip, which I was able to do here. But evenings on that screened porch were pretty awesome, too! The house itself is close to everything, so you can walk to the beach, surf shops, ice cream shop, arcade, pier and (very small) grocery store. And it's one of the few houses with living space on the ground level. Having so many teenage boys- that enclosed outside shower was a huge bonus. And when the tide goes out, you can see the crabs running around at the bottom of the inlet. My kids are no strangers to the inlet or catching crabs- but they really enjoyed that! We had a couple of questions for the owner, who was available and very pleasant to work with. This was a great place for a family gathering. For those not familiar with Garden City- it's a very family friendly place to be, and there is a lot of activity on the pier- aside from the fishing. One end of the pier is kid-friendly at night (it's all kid friendly during the day) and the girls love to go dance. So being close enough to walk there is a big plus. We would absolutely stay here again.

I have vacationed here all my life with my parents while I was growing up. My children have grown up vacationing here and hopefully in a few years I will be watching my grandchildren playing on the beach while vacationing here. Many of our renters are 2nd and 3rd generation vacationers who have been staying with us since the 1960's.
