The best way to explore the island is by renting a car. If you do have a car, donāt leave valuables inside and donāt lock it when you parkālocked cars are more likely to get a window broken by someone looking for items inside, though cars themselves are rarely stolen.

A beautiful beach with a small entry fee, a decent restaurant, and the famous local pigs that wander along the sand.
Cas Abao
Another gorgeous beach perfect for a day trip.
Westpunt
⢠Visit Playa Grandi to snorkel with turtles.
⢠Explore Shete Boka Park to watch massive waves crash into the bokas.
⢠For lunch, try Jaanchieāsāsimple food but a charming bird sanctuary next doorāor Sol Food for great dishes and stunning views.
Seaquarium
Offers dolphin swims and dives, plus the chance to feed flamingos.
Ostrich Farm & Aloe Farm
You can take a tour and still enjoy a fried ostrich egg, even though riding them is no longer offered.
Serenaās Art Factory
Visit to see the iconic Chichi dolls and learn about this social enterprise. Thereās also a shop in Punda.
Scuba Diving
Many great dive spots; the easiest option is Goby Divers, located at the entrance to Royal Palm.
Kite Surfing
A popular spot is near the ostrich farm. Lessons are available through Nix Kite School.
Punda (Downtown Willemstad)
Walk around during the day and at night, especially across the pontoon bridge. Avoid the waterfront restaurantsātheyāre very touristy with poor food. Check Punda Loves You on Facebook for daily events.
