My experience with Derrick was 5 Star. I arrived a few minutes early to check in and Derrick came out & gave me a tour of the house. The house was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

The host was super responsive, the backyard is securely fenced (and bursting into bloom right now), the bed is comfy, the towels are nice, I was plenty warm.

This dog friendly house with a nice big, fully fenced yard was perfect for us and located in a nice neighborhood with everything you need nearby. The kitchen was well equipped and comfortable living/dining room and cozy bedding made for an enjoyable stay. Our friendly host communicated often and quickly.

This was a perfect place to stay for me to relax and practice before an audition. The back yard was lovely and it was great to listen to the crickets in the evening while sitting on the back deck. I would totally stay here again.

A wonderful large private fenced yard with covered patio. Great for our dog outside and inside (hardwood and tile, no carpet) Comfortable older home in convenient family neighborhood. A great stay!

Host was super responsive when I had a question. Property was clean and ready to go. In and out very easy. The large fenced yard was a big reason I rented for the pets we were bringing and it was great. Easy property to get to with access to what we needed nearby. Happy with the rental.

This property was listed as pet friendly. Not pet kennel. Our check in time was around 4 o'clock. We didn't get there till 10, six hours later. Almost every window was open. The entire house reeked of pet pooh. My wife and I had two large dogs, one German Shepherd, one Rottweiler for 17 years. Our house never smelt like that.The house deserves to have some detail cleaning, such as baseboards. The fan above the bathtub has a coating of pet hair/fuzz on it. Had to find my way around the back on a cobblestone uneven walkway in the dark to get to the Key location.

We take cleanliness very seriously and personally inspect the property before every guest's arrival. The allegations regarding odor and cleanliness do not reflect the condition of the home at check-in, and we are disputing this review with VRBO with supporting documentation. We made multiple attempts to reach this guest before and during their stay and received no response until a brief message the day before arrival. Had any concerns been raised, we would have addressed them immediately — as we do for all our guests. To provide context: windows were open in preparation for the guest's scheduled 5pm check-in. The guest arrived at 10pm, six hours later, without notice. We have hosted over 100 guests this past year with an overwhelming majority of 5-star reviews, many with pets. We invite prospective guests to read through those reviews and feel confident in booking with us.

Check-in process was very easy. Later than typical for check-in time (5PM) and earlier than typical checkout time (10AM) so not the best for a one night stay with kids. Would be better for adults only or older children. Not recommend for young kids (prek/elementary ages). Heating units around the home and ceiling vent in the bathroom were filthy covered in dust. Baseboards were filthy as well. Cleaning was surface level at best, not deeply cleaned. Shelves were dusty. Found pet hairs in both beds and made note of it to the host, they restated their pet policy and offered to come see, we declined having the host come over. Just note, there will be pet hair on bedding despite the listing strictly prohibiting pets on furniture. There is no blind or curtain coverage on the main front window which makes privacy in the living room area difficult to obtain. Host is an author and has their book displayed in the home.
