Loved our stay here. House was great and as described. Pool could have been a little cleaner, but they did have a tropical storm come up a few days before, so it was understandable. By the second day it was clearing up. Check in process was a breeze.Property was beautiful, private, great location. Will definitely stay again. Island was fantastic, wish we would have stayed longer.

It's an easy house to enjoy - great location close to both the beach and Pine Ave with all the fun shops, restaurants and other fun stores. So sorry that it was so windy when you arrived. The pool gets cleaned on Mondays, we are happy it cleared up fast. It was an absolute pleasure hosting you and your travel party! We're so glad you had a cozy and relaxing weekend. The house was extremely clean. The only reason everything was not 5 star is that the property needs some updates such as…painting, new carpet. I would also recommend the pool being cleaned on the first day, scheduled day is Monday so we were not able to use it on the weekend. But the unit was very clean!

The pool companies on the Island don't service pools on the weekend. It's a bit of a trade off when you stay at a property with lush landscaping around the pool - you get a bit more debris - but a gorgeous, private pool area. We will mention your comments about some updates to the owners of the property. We really appreciate it, and we hope to see you again soon on our beautiful Island. This property has been neglected. It is truly a nice place, nice layout with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. All the things listed below could easily be addressed by the owners. This is nothing against Duncan reality, they did promptly address issues brought to their attention. Unless you are desperate, look around at other places before spending this much money on Hammock in the Sun,No cooler at the property as advertised, Duncan did provide one after we bought one.We were told 6 beach chairs, there were only 4.The in ground pool light doesn't work.Outlet in master bath did not work.Lamp in master bedroom does not work.GFI outlet in upstairs guest bath would not test and reset (safety hazard).Light in upstairs guest bathroom leaking water.Sink in upstairs guest bath was clogged.Carpets are dirty.House interior could use painted.Washing machine is broken, technician determined it needs replaced. I'm sure this was broken before we arrived.Ceiling fan in upstairs guest room noisy.Gaps in doors let in salamanders and milipedes.Kitchen not stocked well, Shortage of frying pans.No mop, floors were dirty.Mattresses need replaced.Light out in downstairs ceiling fixture.

Thank you, Rob, for taking the time to write a review about your stay at Hammock in the Sun. We are so sorry that you found many things lacking or not working while you were here. We checked all our records and found that we of course came to fix the items you brought to our attention. We wish we would have known all items; we are just down the street and would have come right away. The cleaners would have been asked to come back - we do want to point out that the carpets were recently professionally cleaned. We will of course discuss your review with the owners so we can take action. A new washer has been installed, and the owners had already ordered an interior paint job that was just completed.
