Our family greatly enjoyed our stay. With 8 adults and 3 kids it's always hard to find something that's both spacious enough but also affordable and this fit the bill! The convenient location next to the pool with easy access to the beach in phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed walking down to the beach on a whim, easily getting back into the house from the pool and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Also perfect parking for 3 cars.The house is a little dated and needs some work (water spots on the ceiling, broken tiles, peeling paint) but for the price and location it was more than worth it! Also the host was very communicative with us as there were several electric outages during the stay.

Location is perfect. Easy check in and check out. The house is roomy and comfortable but needs some updates. Small things like no measuring cups or glasses to take to the pool. Electrical outlets need to be replaced because very few will hold a plug. Wi fi is marginal on second floor and nonexistent on the third. We’ve stayed at 110 the last two years and enjoyed overall but will probably look elsewhere for our next vacation.

Wonderful Wild Dunes Family Vacation

We loved the location of the house. It was perfect for our family. The only negative about the house was that the upstairs master bedroom struggled to cool down. Other than that the house and amenities were perfect. Thank you for sharing your lovely vacation home.

Check in process was super easy great.The kitchen needs an update. The ice maker was not working in the fridge. The first two bowls I pulled out were dirty. It is in need of a new set of pots pans.

Upon arrival we found the property not in desirable condition ( Not Clean). However property management took care of our concerns by offering immediately another property which was excellent....

Great Location, Dated Accomodations

We stayed here 20 years ago and had such a wonderful time, we couldn't wait to come back. I think this condo has not been updated since that time. The carpet was stained and needs to be replaced, the finish on the dining room table was so worn, it always felt dirty. There was no vacuum cleaner in the unit, and the broom was so old, it was useless. We had a couple of maintenance issues that were not taken care of during the week we were there, even though the property manager was made aware. Admittedly, one of the issues was a birds nest in a can light in one of the bathrooms. They had to hire a wildlife company to remove it, requiring a tall enough ladder to reach the second floor. Despite these issues, the location was wonderful and we had a great time.

Great Locations poorly maintained property

Perfect location with amazing beach views and beach access. Poorly maintained property that needs TLC. Outdated bathrooms, rooting wood around all doors and windows. Mold around some of the HVAC vents. HVAC on 2nd and 3rd floor not functioning properly. Rust on vents and returns

Everything was convenient and easy to follow. I prefer to make reservations directly from Wild Dunes however because the use of the pavilion bar and food could simply be charged to the room

Isle of Palms - Wild Dunes

The overall condition of the property did not meet my expectations. This was our 6th time staying in a Wild Dunes property, and I'd rate this property as 5th out of 6. the size and location is terrific, but the condition on the inside of the property was below my expectation for such a prime piece of real estate. Overall, it looks and feels worn-out. I'd recommend a heavy renovation to keep vacation renters coming back. we'll return to Wild Dunes, but it won't be this property. I can't even tell you how much we paid since the cost is the least of my concerns. I'm looking for a beachfront property that feels like someone's well taken care of home, not a beatdown rental. Sorry, not trying to be mean but just giving my candid feedback. Specific items include: master bedroom windows dripping water from the inside after a storm, kitchen sink faucet that doesn't rotate from sink to sink, living room doors to the patio that won't lock, black mold that has been visibly painted over, master bath sink hardware that moves off, basic digital cable tv that doesn't support HD TV's, and worn-out carpet throughout.

Vacation

The house was great. Location was awesome, walk out of the house right to the pool and beach. Only negative was the wooden deck around the pool got really hot so wear shoes. Will stay at this location again. My whole family loved this house and had a great time listening to the band playing at the bar.

Just right

We wanted to rent a property that was very close to where my daughter's wedding was going to be (North lawn, Wild Dunes) and that was on the beach with a pool. We needed 4 bedrooms and preferably 4 bathrooms and a open floor plan in the area of the kitchen, dining room, and living room. This place was just right and had everything we were looking for. Would certainly come here again.

Incredible Location. Great House. Needs TLC.

You could not pick a better location. This house is directly on the beach, in front of the communal pool and deck. It has two balconies with ocean views, and two rooms with ocean views. The gated community is quiet, beautifully manicured, has lush palm tree lined streets with multiple ponds, a golf course and great walking trails. You can hear the sound of the waves when you wake up in the morning bathed by the light of the sun and when they are rocking you to sleep at night. Everything you need is within walking distance (the main complex with a restaurant and bar is a short walk up the street) or a short drive (Harris Teeter in 10 mins). I can’t even put to words how convenient it is, how beautiful the setting is and how opulent and serene the neighborhood is. The house itself is perfect for a large party. There are four well appointed bedrooms, each with their own private bathrooms. There’s a decent sized living room, large dining table and decent sized kitchen. The bedrooms are all large and nicely decorated, the beds comfortable and plenty of closet space, TVs, kitchen appliances, etc. You have two designated parking spaces (one covered), and outdoor storage under the house. Design wise and location wise it’s perhaps the best beach house I’ve stayed in. Unfortunately, the property company has neglected the home and it is need of some serious updates and upgrades. We arrived to a broken entry light and doorbell, a filthy, bleached stained carpet going from the ground to the first floor, broken and missing blind slats throughout the house, no windows have screens, chipped paint, peeling dining room table, peeling wall paper in spots, etc. The kitchen includes an old electric stove with coil ranges (one of which doesn’t work), oven racks that fall, a microwave with a broken light and old scratched wooden kitchen floors. The showers and tubs are all dated and the water pressure and water temperature fluctuations were terrible. Lots of the furniture is dated, including the wardrobes and old entertainment centers that have been converted into cabinets for small flatscreens (only small ones would fit). The location and house layout cover for a lot of these other challenges but for the amount paid, I expect better. The flaws also prevent a good stay from being an extraordinary stay.

Great Getaway

This property was perfect for our long weekend getaway and I'm sure would be perfect for a week in the summer as well. It is located ocean front with a beautiful view and pool is literally right outside. The property was very clean and the management company was wonderful. They communicated very well and exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this property and Beachside Vacations.

The house was perfect!

We loved this property. Wild Dunes area could use some restaurants. We had a party of 12, and had real trouble getting in anywhere for dinner. Besides that, we loved it.

Short Walk to the Ocean

We loved the proximity to the beach and the gorgeous ocean views from the living room and some of the bedrooms. Check in and out was very easy and convenient. Be aware that there may be events scheduled during your stay that will prohibit the use of the very convenient back door for beach access and prohibit you from using the pool. Lots of loud music and talking until about 10 pm. We encountered two separate events during our stay.

Best Rental I’ve Stayed at on IOP

The accommodations were wonderful. The location was the best. It was so nice to walk from the back deck directly to the pool. This made it so easy for the kids. I definitely recommend for families with children and infants. Having a bathroom with each bedroom is also great and allows privacy when traveling with several families. After over 20 years vacationing in Wild Dunes, I found my new favorite rental. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic Location

Just steps away from pool and beach, this is the best place to experience Wild Dunes Resort. Highly recommend renting bikes, as there are many nice bike paths around the island.

Great for our family's needs!!

We loved this house! It was perfect having the pool right outside our doorstep and the beach just a couple steps away. If you have a lot of luggage, just be prepared to climb a lot of steps. The water pressure wasn't that great in the showers but we expected that. Loved that every room had their own bathroom. Overall, it was a great house for our family of 9.
