Qualicum Beach: Cozy, bright & affordable 1 bed, 1.5 bath home on quiet crescent

Please contact us through our page to resolve this. - This spacious one bedroom, two bathroom home is located on a quiet crescent, steps from Little Qualicum River and the ocean, and a short 6 min drive to the Village of Qualicum Beach. Qualicum Beach is the most desirable retirement location in BC. Our home is nestled in a very quiet, old neighbourhood with wide streets in a forested area near the Qualicum River. The town of Qualicum beach has a very good grocery store and pharmacy, along with a number of excellent restaurants and shops and of course, the beautiful beach for walking and whale watching.

Please note that our home will be rented with our two lovely cats as your companions, and in return for giving them affection and cat food, this house is priced at less than one half of the rental rate it would normally be valued at. We actually think the cats make the rental experience better - at least that is what all our of prior guests have said. There are no litter box duties, the cats have a cat door, and all food and supplies will be provided. They are healthy and friendly companions who will keep you company in our home.

Included in the rental is everything you would need to feel comfortable: king sized bed, linens, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, towels, in-suite stacking washer/dryer, one and a half bathrooms, spacious living room, 50 inch smart TV, bright dining room, private, fenced back patio and, covered parking for one vehicle. All utilities, parking and wi-fi are all included at no additional cost - no cable TV but you can use our tv for Netflix, etc.

No cleaning service provided as this is a fixed term tenancy. We will leave the name and number of a reliable house keeper if you wish to pay them directly. The home will have a move out clean after we leave and before you move in, but after that there are no cleaning services.

This home would ideally suite a snowbird couple looking for a nearly three month term rental in a very quiet neighbourhood. We have rented our home out over the last three or four years and everyone who has stayed in our lovely home has been very happy with the house, location and amenities ... and the cats.

Please note that the fireplace will be locked and absolutely no use of the fireplace is allowed due to home insurance limitations. No exceptions for any reason.
