You're staying in Casa Cuculeka, a unique nature lover's delight that accommodates up to 6 guests. This one-of-a-kind home seamlessly blends comfort with Costa Rica's natural beauty, located in this pristine village within the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge.

The House Layout

GROUND FLOOR - Three Private Retreats:
Room 1 (Street-facing): Full bathroom, workspace/desk, hanging storage, plus a glass-enclosed adjoining patio perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation
Room 2: Full bathroom, hanging storage, small dresser, shares the enclosed patio with Room 1 - ideal for couples or friends traveling together
Room 3 (Pool-side): Full bathroom, workspace/desk, hanging storage, private patio with direct access to the backyard and pool

All bedrooms feature full beds, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and mosquito nets for maximum comfort, plus individual garden access patios.

UPSTAIRS LOFT - Heart of Casa Cuculeka:
This spectacular open-air second floor is where the magic happens:

Kitchen & Bar: Central open-air kitchen with built-in bar and stool seating, fully equipped with gas stove, new fridge with water cooler, coffee machine, blender, indoor grill, and everything needed for home cooking

Dining Area: Seats 6 with romantic nighttime lighting, overlooking the pool and backyard
Relaxation Zone: Two hammocks for the perfect Caribbean swing while listening to jungle sounds

Library Corner: Cozy reading area with chairs, table, and our ever-growing collection of books left by guests - feel free to contribute!

Living Room: Comfortable couches, two rocking chairs, and fans creating refreshing breezes while you watch Manzanillo life unfold on the street below

Outdoor Shower: Bamboo-enclosed private outdoor shower for that authentic jungle bathing experience

Lush Gardens: Freshly planted with natural mosquito-repelling herbs including lavender, basil, mint, rosemary and lemon balm

Fruit Trees: The grounds host trees bearing coconuts, papaya, cocoa, rambutan, and more - fresh tropical fruit at your fingertips!

Wildlife Viewing: From the upstairs loft, you can often watch howler monkeys swinging through the trees and visiting our backyard

The open-air design allows you to be immersed in nature's symphony - from howler monkeys at dawn (sometimes right in your backyard!) to the gentle rustle of palm fronds, all while enjoying modern comforts and the sweet fragrance of our natural herb garden.
