The Space:
Beautiful mountain retreat surrounded by wilderness. Great place to just relax, breathe, and enjoy or have outdoor adventures via hiking trails, water play on the lake or Kern River, visiting the trail of 100 Giants, white water rafting, fishing, and snow skiing in Alta Vista! Cute retro movie theater in town or dining and entertainment in Kernville, home of the world-famous Kernville Brewery. Cute additional cabin that sleeps two as an additional space for the kids or adventurous adults.

Guest access:
You have access to the whole house, including 1.5 baths, a kitchen with microwave, and other amenities. Also, wifi and smart TV for all your streaming needs, as well as a huge deck that must be seen to be appreciated. You can lounge on the deck and greet the deer, birds, and squirrels or sit by the wood-burning stove for indoor fires and a beautiful stone fire pit for outdoor fun. So much to explore on the property alone, but also surrounded by government land full of creeks, trees, trails and endless mountains.

Pala Rancho Estates is a small group of homes nestled in the mountains. Shirley Creek Retreat is bordered by two creeks and at the edge of the community so you feel utterly alone while on your property and are surrounded on all sides by beautiful forestry land with trees and all kinds of wildlife.
