Had a wonderful stay here. The view of the lake is as nice or better than the pictures show it. The deck provided is a nice opportunity to watch the sunset and unwind. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Our hist Pam and her husband were terrific hosts, even immediately replacing an umbrella on there deck that got damaged in a brief storm. We would stay hwre again.

A most relaxing and peaceful vacation!

I can't say enough about the lovely cottage and the stunning views over the lake. Spending the evenings on the deck with a glass of wine from the Finger Lakes was so enjoyable! I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone wanting spectacular views and delicious wines and beers!

Wonderful Getaway

This home is even better than advertised. Warm and inviting, well apportioned, and open. The deck, yard and view are absolutely amazing. The owners were easy to reach and quick with answers. We are VERY pleased with our experience.

Wonderful house with beautiful views!

Quiet, semi secluded house with a huge deck that offers gorgeous panoramic views of the north end of the lake and great sunsets. This is a hidden gem! The hosts were wonderful and communication with them was great. Thanks so much Pam!

Getaway to Canandaigua Lake

My wife and I had a great 5 day getaway to Sunset Deck on Canandaigua Lake. The cottage definitely has a million dollar view. Check in went just as planned with the owners. Cottage is very clean and has everything that you could want. If you are looking for a great place to stay in the Finger Lakes I would highly recommend Sunset Deck!!

Lake View Landscape

This property truly has the most beautiful view of Canandaigua Lake. It was spotlessly clean and decorated adorably. Anything we needed was there. Perfect size for two couples. We attended a wedding at Lincoln Hill Farms and wanted to stay somewhere close to the lake. This was the place!!! Did not disappoint♥️

Relaxing

The house was in great condition. The outdoors was hit by a tornado before we came. The host let us know before we arrived about the tree that fell and that there would be a tree removal company there to clean-up. We plan on making this property our go to whenever we are in Canandaigua, NY

Nice hosts and view of Lake Canandaigua

The hosts were very responsive w two minor issues we had during our stay. Their property is listed as lakefront but there is no lake access. The deck is nice but could use a power wash and the foliage surrounding it was overgrown while we were there.

Catherine The property is not listed as lakefront or as having lake access. Please point this out to me if you see this somewhere so I can correct any misinformation. Our match was not a good one, and that is disappointing. You coordinating to have kayaks and paddle boards delivered at 8:00 am before your occupancy when we had other tenants there was not appropriate and created a disturbance for us and the tenants that paid to be there. After your departure, the property was filthy when we arrived to check on it. My husband and I stayed with the cleaning staff to help prepare it for our next guests. Rearranging everything, pots, pans, inside furniture, deck furniture and broken plates left on he floor was not was something we have ever found in the 7 years we have been renting this property out. The only issue I am aware of you having was brief internet outage that was experienced throughout the community. I am sorry your stay was not what you had hoped for and wish you better luck finding something that suits you in the future. I respect that everyone has their opinions. Your opinion of our property certainly does not align with the many reviews we have, in which we take pride in.

PGA Weekend

Perfect! the house and outdoor space was/is better than the pictures. The location is really great, well off the more traveled East Lake Rd. The house was neat and clean and everything worked as it should and the hosts were very responsive. The outdoor space was awesome, very large with multiple levels. Had coffee on the deck in the morning and watched the sunset with a glass of wine in the evening. We will definitely book this house again..

Gorgeous deck

I absolutely loved the property and the experience. My only concern is how the costs were listed. When you consider the fees, it was actually nearly twice the nightly rate listed. To be clear, I was willing to pay the amount, but troubled by the practice of listing a properties in a way that seems misleading. My partner and I had a great experience, but I will think twice before searching a VRBO listing again.

Very Relaxing & Picturesque!

My husband and I spent his birthday week here. It was exactly what we needed. The home is roomy and comfortable. The multi-level deck is the perfect place to sit each evening and enjoy the sunsets. Waking up each day to see the lake, even in the rain was very comforting. We fished, spent time thrift shopping, won some money at the casino and ate at several of the local restaurants. The Eastside Grill and Pub is excellent, the Irish eggrolls are a must and if you like authentic Mexican food, you have to visit Rio Tomatlan, just off of Main Street on Beeman Street. Our hosts were quick to respond to questions and the entire area is very friendly. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Peaceful Retreat

Despite the weather we really enjoyed our stay! On the only dry day, we spent our time lounging on the deck and enjoying the view. So relaxing! The cottage has everything you need for a quiet getaway!

Beautiful cottage on lake Canandaigua

We had a lovely couples weekend away. The space is lovely, fully stocked and so clean. Loved the large deck. Close to dining, shopping and many breweries!

We moved to Canandaigua Lake Region in 2012. Truly have fallen in love with the lifestyle, people, restaurants, wineries, shops and everything this beautiful area has to offer. They call it 'The Chosen Place' for a reason!! When the opportunity arose to purchase Sunset Deck and be able to share this feeling with everyone, we jumped on it. We are excited for others to feel the tranquility and experience the enjoyment of the water, views and local offerings; which will be true memory makers.

Adorably appointed and perfectly located close to everything!! Sliding glass door takes you out onto the spacious wrap around decks, all rooms tastefully painted, all bedding and quality towels, tv, pots and pans and accessories! Books, cards board games, magazines, dvds, internet and 200 Chnls of cable entertainment for a rainy day or on the deck.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

When walking into the property at our viewing... we both said, WOW! look at that view. The front on the house is a large picture window and sliding glass door. All you can see is the lake and greenery. Then we walked outside on the spacious wrap around deck... and said WOW! yet again. We couldn't believe we found this gem that is so close to all attractions, yet very private with all public utilities and easy access from road. Many properties in the area have steep driveways, this does not. Driveway is easily accessed right off the road.
