Villa Siesta sits poetically in a walled, gated garden on deep, azure-colored Hansen Bayou with views of Sarasota Bay & City skyline. This architecturally unique 5400 sf villa is built around a spacious tower with winding 3 story staircase opening to each living level.

The romantic residence is located just a few blocks from Shell Beach, less than 3 mi from award-winning Siesta Beach & short distance (less than 4 mi) to downtown Sarasota where restaurants, shops & cultural activities abound.

Villa Siesta is registered with the City of Sarasota under vacation rental certificate registration #VR22-00060.

The villa opens to outdoor living areas with terraces on each level for enjoying the beautiful environs. Recently renovated and professionally-decorated, Villa Siesta offers exquisite living spaces featuring 4/5 bedrooms, 5 and a half baths, a bright open floor plan on second floor with chef's kitchen with eat-in island, dining area overlooking canal, bar with lounge seating and large family room area also overlooking canal. Want to dine al fresco? Open the French doors and enjoy the additional outdoor terraced dining area overlooking bay and city views. You won't want to leave this enchanting property with the added graciousness of a spacious living room with fireplace, library and master bedroom suite on third floor, all with open views of bay and city. Bedrooms boast private baths to add to privacy and relaxation. A three stop elevator allows for easy access to any of the many spaces and features including bumper pool/poker table and ping pong table on first floor.


The private dock offers some of the finest boating water in the entire area: very deep and protected, clear and clean due to the proximity to Sarasota Bay, Big Pass and Gulf of Mexico. Dolphins play at the water's edge. Heated pool, multiple outdoor areas for sun worshippers, and lush gardens (including private garden with swing) will complete your most memorable holiday experience.

This house is our favorite vacation spot! We have stayed here several times, and it never disappoints. MJ is amazing to work with and the house is beautiful! We absolutely love the outdoor setting, and the nightly dolphins are a plus. We rent kayaks and take them up the canal and to the sandbar to watch the sunset. The fishing off the dock is fantastic and the house has become a home away from home for us! We can't wait to go back.

Great vacation!

This house and location was amazing! It’s located about 2 miles from the main Siesta Key beach which was easy to get with the golf cart we rented. The pool and outdoor living areas were perfect for our friends and family.

Family time

Location was perfect water view looking out to Sarasota. Lots of birds, dolphins and manatees in our water way.Pool was a huge hit for whole family. Owner was very responsive on some minor needs. Will definitely do this again.

Relaxing Getaway

The house is located close to beaches, shopping and downtown Sarasota. We enjoyed the very clean and well equipped house. We even saw dolphins in the canal from the house. The pool and garden is awesome! We had a great stay and will come back.

Beautiful House & Great Location

We've stayed at many Siesta Key properties over the years and this was our favorite house out of all of them. We watched dolphins and manatees swim by. We rented a motor boat and kayaks which made a huge impact. The house was well stocked with cooking items and the host was very accommodating.

A Little Piece of Paradise

This is our second time staying in this beautiful home and we just love it! The house is fantastic, the location is ideal and MJ is so wonderful to work with. We saw daily dolphins and enjoyed fishing off the dock and swimming in the pool. This has been our favorite vacation rental and we plan to book again next summer!

A beautiful home in an excellent location. Very convenient to both Siesta Key beach and downtown Sarasota. Loved the daily view of the dolphins swimming by and the Sarasota city lights across the bay! The owners are awesome and we’re very responsive when needed. Simply wonderful!

Fabulous time with my family.

Wonderful location with dolphins and manatees right outside the house. We enjoyed our family and the home. Very unique fabulous Italian style home. Great communication with owner and willing to help with any questions. We would absolutely stay there again.

Amazing Property

This is our 3rd year at this beautiful home and we just love it! MJ is so great to work with and very responsive and the house, pool and property is stunning. We saw dolphins and manatees right from the dock, rented kayaks and kayaked to the sandbar for sunset every night and fished off the dock daily. It was just perfect!

If you’re looking for an amazing house in Siesta Key you can stop here. Absolutely beautiful property that you won’t want to leave. MJ is a fantastic host that made sure we had everything we needed. We watched dolphins from the dock everyday, the sunsets were spectacular, and our families had plenty of room to spread out and relax. This property is perfectly located close enough to the beaches but far enough for a peaceful retreat. Stay here. You will love it.

Great Place - Very Spacious, Well Appointed, great Hosts

The house is beautiful and very spacious! The view and fishing opportunity of the canal and bay are gorgeous. In December, would prefer either more sunny hot weather, a more highly heated pool, or a hot tub. Myself and my young adult children are all thinking about a return trip with our friends…without a hot tub though, I’d target a warmer month. Lots of fun nights cooking and playing games at the expansive off kitchen dining table. Overall, a complete success!! Thank you!!
