Great last minute vacation. Easy check-in and check-out. All amenities available from coffee pot to washer /dryer - extra towels and even Bluetooth speaker . Lilly pad was huge hit as was fishing. Plenty of space to hang out and yet kids had their area with bunks bed and queen bed that they thought was awesome. Shower pressure and hot water were great. Will definitely rent again .

The property was beautiful. The dock was excellent for swimming from. The water is deep there. We appreciated that we could rent a pontoon and dock it right there at the house. However, it is advertised that there are kayaks there to use but there were no life preservers supplied. By Illinois law adults need to have life preservers with them in the boat. We would have brought some with had we known we would need them. So that was disappointing. We did enjoy the lily pad and the lounge chairs on the dock.The house was clean and comfortable. The view from the sunroom can’t be beat!There were a few things I had to text the host about and she was very good about getting back to me.

Clean house very comfy! Love the view of the lake! Had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again! Love the patio with gas fire pit!!! Thank you for a great place to visit!

Back patio was amazing. I visited with my elderly mom and she was able to sit outside on the beautifully furnished space.

We were able to bring our shed-free pups with us to enjoy hiking during the day and relaxing views of the lake in the evenings. Perfect retreat over the holiday. 10/10.

We had a good stay here overall. The sun room is gorgeous, overlooking the lake, especially in the morning. The two tables provided enough seating for my whole family group. There were a couple of things that caught us up. The keypad didn’t unlock with the code given so we had to use the key in the lockbox but the front door stayed locked because of the keypad. So if one of us forgot to grab the key on our way out we would’ve been locked out. The ground into the carport is loose gravel and it’s a bit steep. We messaged our host for help with additional parking and got a very delayed response. There were plenty of towels which was very helpful. The washer and dryer are very efficient. Even on low heat the dryer gets very hot so it does produce a lot of lint. You have to follow the sign on the dryer to clean the lint trap out each time. No one else in my family had complaints about the mattresses other than me. I slept in the downstairs queen bed. There is a door to close off the stairs leading into the downstairs area which is very helpful, especially with kids. The downstairs area is one big room. At first we were under the assumption the 2 bunk beds and the queen bed downstairs were in separate rooms. There is a closet separating the beds so there is a small area private space. As far as kid friendly stays, I would caution bringing kids under 5 years of age here. Even though there are toys downstairs geared for preschool aged and younger,

Beautiful, clean, and updated property. Wonderful lake views from all areas of the home and lower level. Main bed was very comfortable ( only 2 of us). Many extras that we have not had in other rental homes that made it more special.

The location is lovely! The back porch view really is stunning. We had our coffee out there every morning. I made the host aware of some small changes that would make a stay excellent in the future. If you're looking for a clean house with lots of space to spread out, then this is a GREAT house. We stayed for Thanksgiving which was cold. In the summer it would be DIVINE to be right on the lake. The only other thing to consider is that parking is steep and only has 2 spaces. We made it work, but make sure your vehicle wouldn't bottom out. Overall, a GREAT stay.

There were some plumbing issues with the tub downstairs. However, everything else was absolutely amazing. It was a perfect girl's weekend.

Would not hesitate to stay again. Peaceful and beautiful inside and out. A lot of effort was put into making this rental comfortable and cozy. Outside furniture and fireplace are a highlight
