Located in the heart of Wells, Maine. Enjoy our one bedroom cottage at the Watercrest with two Newer double beds. Renovated living room with double bed sleeper sofa and lazy-boy style chair and new larger flat screen television. Fully Remodeled bathroom with new tub surround, and vanity. The bathroom is neat and clean. New carpeting in the livingroom and bedroom with ceiling fans in both circulate air to keep cool. Heat and air conditioning in the unit. A fully stocked and renovated oak kitchen with granite countertops and recessed lighting. Stove, newer refrigerator and microwave. Pots and pans, dishes and all the utensils needed to cook and enjoy a great meal. " Lobsta" pot too! New enclosed porch with all natural wood work with large slider windows and a view of the playground. Nice table and four chairs on the porch for dinner or relaxing with your favorite drink. One minute to the newly renovated pool and brand new jacuzzi. Individual gas grill for each unit.

Great last minute getaway!

We just happened upon this rental last minute and were so excited! The cottage was very clean and full of amenities. We loved the view of the lawn area and the short distance to the pool. Would definitely stay here again!

Exactly what we were looking for!!

After coming up to Wells for 10 years and staying in hotels, my best friend and I decided to try something different. This cottage was exactly what we were looking for! We enjoyed being able to make our own meals in the kitchen, have a cozy living room area to relax in after a day at the beach and

Cozy stay

We had another great time at this cottage as a family. It had everything we needed - including necessary space and items for some home-cooked meals. The pool was warm and inviting too! Thanks!

Perfect little cottage

Great space for my 3 kids and I. It has a very well equipped kitchen and access to a outdoor grill. Location was in a perfect spot with beach access and easy access to the highway's without sitting in Rt 1 traffic. The pool is heated which was nice because we were able to swim on the 1 rainy day we had. Needless to say we'll absolutely be back!

Very clean cottage. Everything you need to cook. Well located. The only point to improve is that we had to rent our sheets ($60) and there were no blankets.

Nice stay at a quaint and cozy cottage - great location!

We love Wells Beach and we had stayed in a different cottage at this property before. The cottage is just as pictured: small and tidy with one small bedroom and a functional kitchen. It is not fancy but everything is in good condition. It is located in an affordable and casual community, very convenient to several nice beaches and you can take the trolley into Ogunquit, which is a few miles down the road. The shared facilities are nice, too: there's a good-size pool with a new-ish hot tub, shuffleboard, playground, bball court, and laundry room.

Needs some updating . Too hard to get in and out of the bed , I would put only one really nice bed . Iā€™d also put a tv in the bedroom . Furniture much too large and too much of it . Dining table , table on porch?? Would be much more comfortable with 2 chairs cute table in the middle . Needs a bigger tv , put it on the wall .

Home Away From Home (on Vacation)

This was our second stay in this cottage (last year we stayed for a week) and we love it! It's cozy, comfortable, clean, has everything we need, and is in a great complex with a pool and play areas for kids. We have two children and they were excited to go back again this year. Our youngest cried for the first hour of our drive home - that's how much she enjoyed our time there. The WaterCrest is well-located in Wells. Close to everything we need and not in the center of everything where traffic can be more challenging during high tourist times. The cottage and property are well cared for and it feels like a welcoming community. We will definitely stay at this cottage again. We've gotten to know it and the area and the owner is professional and kind. The entire experience has been a very good one both times and we hope to stay again soon! We miss it already!

Owner was rood

The cottage itself, pool and spa was really nice. We wanted to extend our stay for another day because we checked in one day late and the owner requested only by cash and to be picked up someone he knows instead of paying to the rental office or through VRBO. When we finally were able to find cash and called the third person, he was mad and sent us nasty messages that he will call the wells police if we didn't wake it the property next day, which of course we would do if we could not pay for it. i would rent theae cottages but not from owner especially this one.

We got in very late & had NO information from the HOST, so did not know that we had to order sheets & towels. Had to call the emergency number, but the manager of the property was very kind & got our linens together.

Sweet cabin community

Very nice, tidy cabins. Cabins are very close together, so with windows open there is no sound privacy. It had a complete kitchen, so very easy to cook meals. Perfect for our Wells vacation. I would absolutely stay again.

Great place in Well

We had the nicest stay here. It was perfect for two of us, though I can see how you can have a small family here. We walked to local restaurants and loved the pool. Everyone was very friendly and the house was very comfortable. The kitchen was recently updated and the front porch was great to store beach items and relax after a day. We will be back.

perfect spot for a family get away

We were there "off season" so the pool was closed, but we loved everything. Great location and amenities. This cute cottage was perfect for our family-much more comfortable than a hotel. The location was amazing we felt like we were able to get everywhere and see everything we wanted in our two days there.
