Welcome to your perfect Pittsburgh retreat — a spacious 5-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home that comfortably sleeps 12 guests across four beautifully designed floors. Ideal for large families, friend groups, or corporate stays, this home combines comfort, convenience, and thoughtful amenities in one of the city’s most walkable neighborhood.

Nestled just a short walk away from Giant Eagle Market District and Walnut Street’s restaurants and cafes, you`ll enjoy easy access to groceries, coffee shops, and entertainment. UPMC and several universities (CMU, Pitt, Chatham) are also a short drive away.

First Floor:

Step into comfort and convenience on the beautifully designed first floor of this inviting home. The open-concept layout seamlessly connects the living room, dining area, and fully stocked kitchen—creating the perfect space to gather, relax, and enjoy your stay.

Living and Dining Area: Unwind in the cozy living area featuring two plush sofas (one converts into a queen-sized pull-out bed), a large smart TV for streaming your favorite shows, and a 6-seater dining table ideal for shared meals or game nights.

Kitchen: The kitchen is a cook’s delight, complete with a 4-seat breakfast bar, modern appliances, and all the essentials you need to whip up anything from a quick breakfast to a full dinner.

Convenient amenities include a half bathroom, in-unit laundry with a free washer and dryer, and access to both a charming furnished front porch and a partially fenced backyard.

Second Floor:

Head up the stairwell just off the living room to the second floor, where you`ll find three inviting bedrooms and a full bathroom—creating a comfortable and private space for rest and relaxation.

Full Bathroom: This shared bathroom features a combination tub and shower, perfect for soaking or a quick rinse. Stocked with bathroom essential, it offers everything you need to start or end your day feeling refreshed.

Bedroom 1 – The Blue Room: A calming retreat with a king-size bed, 6-drawer dresser, 43” Smart TV, and a closet. Ideal for unwinding in comfort after a busy day.

Bedroom 2 – The Green Room: This versatile space includes two full-size beds, a 3-drawer dresser, a 43” Smart TV, and a closet—perfect for kids, friends, or extra guests.

Bedroom 3 – The Charcoal Room: The most spacious of the three, this room features a king-size bed, 8-drawer dresser, 43” Smart TV, full-length mirror, armchair, and a large closet. It also includes a writing desk and chair, as well as a twin rollaway bed, making it perfect for longer stays or guests needing extra room to spread out.

Third Floor:

The luxurious top floor is dedicated entirely to the Primary Suite, offering a private, elevated retreat perfect for relaxation or remote work in total comfort.

Bedroom 4 – Primary Suite: This spacious and serene suite features a king-size bed and a sectional sofa that converts into a queen-size sleeper—ideal for families or extra guests. A large electric standing desk provides a dedicated workspace, while a 3-drawer dresser and 43” Smart TV add to the room’s functionality and comfort. Whether you`re catching up on rest or checking in on work, this space is designed to accommodate it all.

En Suite Bathroom: Step into a spa-like experience with a stunning ensuite bathroom that features a double vanity, expansive layout, and a luxurious walk-in shower with multiple shower heads. It’s the perfect way to start your morning or unwind at the end of the day.

Basement:

The lower level of the home offers a quiet and private retreat, perfect for guests seeking a bit of extra space and privacy. This thoughtfully arranged area includes a queen bed and a full bed, comfortably accommodating multiple guests.

A full bathroom on this level adds convenience, while a full-size dresser provides plenty of storage for longer stays. A dedicated desk creates a comfortable workspace, and a foosball table adds a playful touch—great for winding down after a busy day.

Parking:

Street parking is available with required registration through the city. While parking in the area can be tight at times, we’re happy to offer information on nearby paid overflow parking options for added convenience.
We’re extremely reasonable hosts — please know that common sense always applies to all of these rules. You never have to worry about excessive checkout chores (there are none), unfair charges, or any intrusion of privacy.

We pride ourselves on being some of the kindest and most understanding hosts you’ll ever meet.

These guidelines exist only to protect against egregious or disrespectful behavior and to ensure every guest enjoys a clean, safe, and five-star experience. If you’re a respectful guest, you’ll have absolutely no issues with any of this!

🔹QUIET HOURS: (8PM - 8AM)

Please be respectful of neighbors and other guests in the building. Keep noise, TV, music, and conversation at a reasonable level during quiet hours.

If a noise complaint is received and ignored, a $200 fine per disturbance may apply.

🔹NO PARTIES OR EVENTS

Our building enforces a strict no-party policy. Hosting gatherings, bringing in unregistered guests, damaging the unit, or disrupting neighbors may result in a $1,000 fine and immediate removal without refund.

🔹NO SMOKING OR VAPING

Smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the unit or in common areas. A $500 fine will apply for violation of this rule.

🔹NO UNAUTHORIZED GUESTS (WITH REASONABLE EXCEPTIONS)

We understand that sometimes friends or family may stop by briefly during your stay — that’s totally fine. This rule mainly applies to unauthorized overnight guests or large, unapproved gatherings.

Please just send us a quick message if you have visitors and there will be no issue.

If a guest hosts unapproved overnight stays, a party, or a disruptive gathering, a $25 fine per unauthorized guest may apply.

🔹NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES

Any illegal activity — including but not limited to drug use, possession, distribution, theft, vandalism, fraud, or any other criminal conduct — is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.

We cooperate fully with local law enforcement when necessary to protect the safety of our guests, staff, and neighbors. Tampering with smoke detectors, security devices, or access systems also falls under this policy.

🔹SECURITY DEVICES

For safety and compliance, all of our properties have exterior security cameras to help protect our guests, staff, and property. Tampering with, disabling, or covering these devices is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal without refund.

There are no cameras or recording devices inside any apartment or home. All cameras are located only on the exterior of the property, including entryways, parking areas, and common spaces (if applicable). These devices are solely for security and guest safety purposes.

🔹DAMAGES & INCIDENTALS

We understand that small accidents can happen — please just let us know right away so we can take care of it promptly. Significant or unreported damage may result in charges to cover repairs or replacement.

If you’d like extra peace of mind, you can purchase an optional Damage Waiver (Typically $15/ day) through your Guest Portal to cover most accidental damages during your stay.

🔹PETS & ANIMALS

We’re happy to welcome well-behaved pets! Please ensure they are leashed at all times when in hallways, shared spaces, or outdoors. Pets should not be left alone in the unit for extended periods, especially if they are anxious or prone to barking, scratching, or chewing when in an unfamiliar environment.

Guests are responsible for any excessive cleaning, noise complaints, or damages caused by their pets.

🔹CHECK IN: 4PM

Early check-in may be available depending on our cleaning schedule—please ask ahead of time.

🔹CHECK OUT: 11AM

Late check-out without prior approval may result in a fee, as it impacts our cleaning schedule and future guests. Please ask us if you`d like a late check out and we`ll always do our best to accommodate you.

🔹GUEST VERIFICATION

We reserve the right to request a government-issued photo ID from any guest at any time prior to check-in prior to verify reservations and prevent unauthorized parties or guests.

Failure to provide valid ID, or if the ID does not match the name on the reservation, or if the ID appears to not be of the person booking the reservation, may result in cancellation at no penalty to the host.

🔹LOCAL BOOKINGS + LAST MINUTE RESERVATIONS

Reservations made by guests who reside within the Pittsburgh area and/or reservations booked within 48 hours of check-in may be subject to additional verification and screening prior to arrival.

In these cases, guests with limited review history (fewer than five positive reviews from at least three different hosts), any prior negative host feedback, incomplete verification, or failure to cooperate with screening requests may be denied access to the property and/or have their reservation canceled at no penalty to the host (consequence free).

As part of this screening process, the host may consider factors including, but not limited to, review history, prior host feedback, account age, profile completeness, responsiveness to screening requests, stated purpose of stay, occupancy details, and other reservation-related information.

Beautiful home in Shadyside. Room for 11 very comfortably. Clean, well renovated and provides everything you may need. Only downside is the parking, but we were able to find spots for four cars each night after a few trips around the block. Overall, great experience! Book it.

Our stay was very comfortable. The host was quick to respond with my questions and requests. We were in town for a funeral. Our entire family was able to stay together comfortably. The host graciously took my suggestions on improving the garden space and front porch. Very minor things. I would stay there again!

Loved the proximity to UPMC. Unfortunately work being done on the street directly in front of house which made it very loud. Lots of steps which were pretty steep, my husband who is getting cancer treatment at UPMC found them difficult. Just a FYI- the outside steps handrail was wobbly. The house was unlocked when we got there and several windows unlocked (not open). Loved the kitchen area and living room. Kitchen supplies readily available. Parking was very difficult- free street parking but it took awhile to find one every time we came back to the house. Back yard was almost completely fenced in except for a couple missing pickets. You should market that more as dog owners always look for that! Lots of beds and sleeping areas. We should have looked for a bedroom in the main floor so my husband didn’t have to climb the steps. Communication was very prompt when we had a question. The house had lots of character but a few things could be fixed to make it even better- there was a hole above the upstairs bathroom. Seemed to be mid installation of toilet paper holders in the bathrooms. Towels and sheets were stained. And garbage was stacked up in front of the house but it could have been garbage day/ no idea.

More importantly, I hope your husband had a successful round of treatments and that he is doing well. We’re very sorry about the street work during your stay, the city has been doing utility updates throughout the entire neighborhood, but that project is scheduled to finish this week and won’t be happening again. We do agree parking in this area can be a bit tricky at times. While there is free street parking, it can fill up quickly, so we also recommend the paid parking lot directly across the street for guests who prefer something easier and more reliable, or just for back up when street parking is tough to find. Lastly, it was garbage day when you checked out, which is why the bins were out front, but thank you for noting that. We’re glad you enjoyed the home’s proximity to UPMC and the well-stocked kitchen, and we appreciate your helpful notes, they allow us to keep improving.
