Kihei Alii Kai #A-305 is a 700 sqft. one bedroom / one bath unit with a tropical garden view. The unit is equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi service. Stay cool in the summers with the dual-zone split system air conditioners in both the living room and the bedroom; additional ceiling fans throughout. Spread out in the comfort of a California King bed in the Master Bedroom. There are beach chairs and towels available in the unit, as well as other assorted beach equipment. Kihei Alii Kai #A-305 can sleep up to 2 guests max. The Kihei Ali'i Kai is truly one of the best deals in South Kihei!
Please note for this complex you will use both the elevator and stairs to reach this unit.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.

The property amenities include a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and barbecue grills for your use. It is a 3 minute walk to the best beach in Kihei; Kamaole Beach #1 which has lifeguards and bathrooms.

We loved this place!! Had all the amenities that we needed and it was the perfect location. Very short walk to the beach and food/drinks. I came to Hawaii with just one friend and we felt extremely safe in this rental. 10/10 recommend!!!

Cute, private place perfect for a pair!

This condo was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet at night. The complex is confusing to navigate, but once you get the hang of it it's fine. It's in a great location for food, beach, and shopping within walking distance! We would would visit again!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately a bit marred with a mix-up in access codes - we had been given an old one. It took over 45 minutes to get it resolved. Had we arrived really late we would have been sleeping in the car. On a more personal preference, the bed was much too soft and both our backs suffered.

A Great Maui Base Camp

Great place to pitch camp while we travelled around the Maui. The decor supports the island vibe and scratched my Tiki itch. Easy walks from here to several eateries and a grocery store (Hawaiian Moon’s). The bed and couch were comfy for catching up on sleep. Can’t tell you about the TVs though. Never turned them on. Why spoil paradise with intrusions from the real world.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the hot water heating system (on demand) is totally inadequate for this condo. Maintenance person advised that it had been serviced and replaced with same unit within past year. NOT normal with any other units we have stayed in over past 15 years in Alii Kai .. D

Nice condo, great location

We really like the location of this property (across from Kam 1) and love the pool :) You'll get an extra workout going up/down the stairs.

Lovely and spacious,

Very pleased with the condo, it was lovely and well appointed. The location is walkable to beach, shops, restaurants—super convenient and yet quiet. I am 70yrs old and tend to overpack, so my only difficulties were the maze of stairs and walkways and limited parking near the elevator.

Good location, comfortable unit

The location is good, in between Foodland and Kam 3 beach. It’s walkable to Kam 1 beach. The unit itself is comfortable. It is not so hard to find the unit after the first time, there is a geometric structure to the building that can be figured out.

The condo has everyting you would need for your stay. Fully equiped kitchen. I stay in hotels several times a month for my job, staying in this condo was much nicer than a hotel room. Definitely would stay there again next time we go to Maui.

Even better than listed with a few cons

Overall this place was really awesome ! The pictures should really be updated to more clearer quality to match the listing . Check in was easy and quick and the place was clean, cool Hawaiian theme and lots of useful items ; beach towels , umbrellas, coolers, hats and more . However the biggest downside of this place was the shower which is used daily in our case . The water never got warm once and on the last day it even flooded the bathroom and was a hassle to deal with while packing . It seems the plumbing was just outdated.

Marvelous Maui

Maui was magnificent! We traveled the island seeing surfers to turtles to waterfalls to sun rises and sunsets! Ate lots of great food and enjoyed the welcoming Hawaiian culture.

Great condo with all the accessories! Only problem is the AC unit has an intermittent grinding noise when it operates. Have to keep bedroom door closed to drown out the noise. Only used AC while sleeping, condo stayed cool during the day. Otherwise a super place!

Very nice condo

The unit has been well cared for and the interior is nicely appointed. Everything we needed for our stay was there in quantity and quality. The only small problem we had was solving how to get to the unit. This has nothing to do with the unit itself, just the way the overall property was built and a lack of signage along the way. I recall reading prior reviews noting a similar experience, but once found all was very comfortable. We would certainly stay there again and/or point friends to it.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is dated - older equipment, towels, etc. No coffee, no shampoo or conditioner. Rentals Maui were not responsive enough - office was closed before 3:30 pm and we had to call several times to get somethings done.

Great Location and Bigger than Expected!

We had a great stay at David's place. The location is great being right across from the beach, the unit was large, bed was comfy and kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need and more. We appreciated that there were plenty of beach supplies and especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of a beach cooler for drinks and snacks. My only note is that the house cleaners did startle us coming into the unit about 15 minutes before our check out time while we tidying up. Not a big deal, but did give me a good jump scare! Regardless, we would definitely stay here again.

So nice!

Very comfy condo with all the amenities you could want. Fully stocked kitchen, very nice bed, bedding and soft towels, beach umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, large tv. It was the perfect condo for us. Note that you have to take about 6 short flights of stairs to get here. We liked the exercise, but that could be a problem for some. Price was good, location near beach can't be beat. Walk to the stores, restaurants, shops. Nice pool, jacuzzi and sauna.
