Exceptional location with awesome views of the mountains. Amenities and layout of the house were amazing and accommodated our big family with plenty of parking. Grandson caught a 4 or 5 pound largemouth off the dock as a bonus.Thanks for sharing your home.

Able to enjoy this beautiful home with 3 generations of family! Quiet and lots to do no matter the weather! Would stay here again.

Everything was as stated. The 10 of us had plenty of room to spread out. We were able to launch the boat and dock it at the house. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. House was much more stocked than we expected. Great family vacation. Thanks so much

The vacation home we rented from Mark and Emily was great! The house faced the lake with mountains behind it, beautiful! The house was very clean along with the surrounding areas of yard and dock. The depth of the water was good, we were able to dock our boat and kids had fun jumping off dock and boat. The house was very well stocked, we were happy with all the little extras available for us to use. Also our host was very prompt in responding to us when needed.

This was an AMAZING family vacation with great host who communicated everything from the ins and outs of the property to the lay of the land and hot spots to go. The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the location or house truly were. We will definitely book this property again. We cannot wait for our next stay. - The McCollum Family

Best view on the lake in a peaceful cove! House was beautiful and the layout was perfect. Plenty of seating both indoor and out.

Nice and calm place perfect for a large group or a family trip. It has a large living room everyone can hang out with, and there’s plenty of space for small group entertainment as well. Def recommend if you’re visiting the SML.

We had a wonderful time with our 4 adult children and families! The house was so amazing! We spent our days on the boat we rented scouting good fishing and private swimming coves. In evening we cooked together and enjoyed a beautiful fire!

Ideal place to unwind and enjoy nature

The location on Smith Mountain Lake provided beautiful views from all angles. The property was well maintained, stocked with all the necessities, and had plenty of space for large family gatherings.

Family vacation

The location is private and peaceful. We enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. House was roomy and laid out in a way that gave family members their own space. View was spectacular!

Perfect

Chateau Relaxeau was the perfect lakehouse for our family of 13. From the size to the supplies, all was great. The kitchen is so well stocked with just about anything you need. We had a wonderful stay!

Excellent weekend on the lake!

Mark & Emily's Chateau Relaxeau is the perfect getaway. Our group came up for a golf weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. Emily was very responsive to any and every request and their property was just what we were looking for.

Great experience!

We stayed for a long weekend in April 2024. The check in process and communication from Emily before during and after our stay was great! We LOVED the views and the dock was great for our rented pontoon boat. Highly recommend!
