Bass Lake offers access to Lake Michigan’s sandy beaches with a paddle down the connecting river or a short drive. There’s also a small neighborhood park close by with a pickleball court, basketball court, and playground.

Inside, the cottage features a bright, open living space with warm lake-house touches, a fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of room to relax and reconnect. Curl up with a book by the window, share meals around the table, or watch the sunset.

BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
The Bass Lake cottage has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. All bedrooms are on the second floor.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an ensuite full bath with a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom has a queen-size and a single bed.

The third bedroom has a queen-size bunk bed.

There’s a second full bathroom on the second floor.

The half bath is on the first floor and has a washer/dryer combo in it.

LIVING SPACE AND KITCHEN
The open concept living room and kitchen provide panoramic views of Bass Lake. There’s a slider that leads from the dining area to the deck and front lawn.

There’s a wide staircase leading from the living room to the upstairs. Please note that small children must be supervised on the stairs as only one side has a hand railing.

OUTDOOR SPACE
The front lawn provides plenty of room for lawn games and sunbathing. It leads to the private dock and swimming area.

There's a large deck on the front of the house with outdoor furniture, a grill, and a propane fireplace.

We also have a large Yahtzee lawn game. And a volleyball, and a couple of pickleball paddles and balls for your use at the park down the street.

The cottage has a private dock, and you're welcome to bring your boat. There are two public boat launches on Bass Lake. We also have water inflatables and an air pump for your use.

LOCATION
The cottage is in a quiet lakefront neighborhood on Bass Lake. It’s also 5 miles from the Village of Pentwater with shops, restaurants, bars, art galleries, a public beach on Lake Michigan, and more. The village has frequent activities throughout the summer and several festivals year-round. We provide a Pentwater Travel Guide for more information. South of Pentwater, you’ll find the famous Silver Lake Sand Dunes.

You’ll also find the city of Ludington 15 minutes north of the cottage. It has Meijer, Aldi, Walmart, Home Depot, auto repair shops, a variety of restaurants and fast food, and a state park.

Airports: If you’re flying in, the Manistee County Blacker Airport (MBL) is about 40 miles away, the Muskegon County Airport (MKG) is about 50 miles away, and the Grand Rapids Airport (GRR) is 95 miles away.
