View Sombrero Peak as you lounge by the pool/hot tub/fire pit, cook on the gourmet grill or relax under the covered patio. This peaceful, newly decorated 4 bedroom home is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, with open desert views, beautiful sunsets and excellent bird watching from your back yard.
A spacious master suite with king bed, full bath and large walk in-closet is on the lower level. The upstairs includes 3 bedrooms, all with queen beds (one with queen and twin) and a large loft which includes a sectional/ottoman and a 50 inch LED TV with DVD player. There is also a full size futon in the living room.
As you enter, to the left is a den/sitting area with a queen size futon, many games and books. To the right, a championship pool table adorns the family room, with a table for games. There is also a foosball table to enjoy.
The fully equipped kitchen has granite counter-tops with service for 12. The dining area seats 8 comfortably and the kitchen bar seats 3. Wireless internet is also available.
A challenging hiking trail on Sombrero Peak is within walking distance. You will be near 2 major grocery stores, many restaurants, pizza places with children's play areas, horseback riding stables and close on/off to Interstate 10. Just 25 minutes north of the Tucson airport and 20 minutes to the University of Arizona campus. A new outlet mall just opened in 2017 and it is less than 5 miles away!!
You will also be just a short drive to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and Old Tucson Studios through the scenic Saguaro National Park, 3 miles to the Pines golf course, and within 5 - 15 miles of many other courses ā€“ including Dove Mountain. The entire downstairs carpet was replaced in October 2017 with wood look porcelain tile!

I can't say enough about this beautiful home on the edge of the desert. You have your own mountain out your back door, right behind your private swimming pool. The hostess is gracious and the house has everything you may need!

Good communication with host. Property was 9/10 IMO and as listed.The outside furniture was not exactly as noted in the pictures (other than patio table/chairs and two chaise loungers; all other seating was aged and in need of replacement). Internet was spotty at best.Property was clean and decently appointed. It is in a quiet neighborhood and close to many to all Tucson attractions, restaurants, and stores.

My family had an excellent week at this property. It was spacious and comfortable. The pool and hot tub got used every day and they were perfect. We also enjoyed hikes in the surrounding desert and how quiet the place was at night. This was our second stay at this site, and I am sure we will be back!

My family and I had a fantastic stay. The home is huge with space for everyone to spread out. The pool table and foosball table were a hit with everyone. The spa was lovely. We had a great stay. The house has plenty of room for everybody and it was very clean and the pool was nice and the grill is nice. The owners are easy to get in touch with and the house is well stocked with towels and other necessities. There are endless hooks to hang pool towels and all of the light switches are labeled. The location of the house puts it right on the edge of the desert with miles of dirt roads to walk. We had fun watching the coyotes and lizards. Sonoran desert sunsets are the best!

Great Place!

We set up a family trip and couldn't be happier with the place, its bigger than the pictures would lead and the pool is fantastic. Get wood, the firepit is great too. Our group ranged from toddlers to grandparents and everyone had a great time.

College Graduation

This property was a wonderful place for us to stay for our niece's graduation from nursing school. It was super clean and the pool and spa were such a great place to relax with family between activities at the college. This was THE BEST VRBO property we've stayed in to date, and we've found some nice ones over the years. Thanks to Jerry and Kathy for providing us a great stay!

We love this beautiful home

We have stayed in this home for six years. It is spacious, well decorated and has everything you need! The kitchen is well stocked and has a lovely back porch and grill.Check in is super easy and the hosts are excellent! Highly recommended!!!

We live in Minnesota! We purchased this home with our daughter, son-in-law, and their 2 children who live just 2 miles away. Our daughter went to school at the U of A. She met her husband in Tucson and there they stayed.
