Le Shabby Chateau Vacation Home Rental is located in the heart of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

This beautiful, shabby chic beach home is located in Gulfport, MS just steps from the beach (5 minute walk), 10 minutes from Biloxi, and one hour from New Orleans. It's also just minutes to the Marine Institute, booming Downtown District, Space Center, Historical Attractions, Casinos, and soooooo much more.

Guests can easily walk to the beach and enjoy the fishing pier or wave runner and umbrella rentals. Jones Park is 1/2 block away and features a walking trail and splash pad for the kids. If you're a fitness junkie, then you're in luck! Free gym access is 1/2 block away as well.

Wonderful, delightful restaurants featuring Seafood, Italian, Mexican, Cajun, Coastal, Steak and other sumptuous cuisine is literally less than 5 minutes away from Le Shabby Chateau. You can experience the vitality of the newly-renovated, booming downtown district in Gulfport or mosey along the beach toward Long Beach and Pass Christian and enjoy a beach view while dining.

If you enjoy gaming, Le Shabby Chateau is 3 blocks from Island View Casino and within 20 minutes of 10 other casinos!

Attractions are plentiful and you'll definitely want to 'swim with the dolphins' while visiting the Marine Institute. Or perhaps you'd like to feed an alligator on one of the delightful swamp tours.

The yard is private, quiet, and features native palms and plants.

You do not have to rent the cottage with the main house. However, if you rent the 3 bedroom/2bath main house (Le Shabby Chateau) with the one bed/full bath cottage (Le Petit Chateau), rates will be discounted. Please check availability.

Very Relaxing Stay

We traveled to Gulfport with our Navy daughter for a quick weekend trip. The house was very comfortable, especially the beds and the property is well maintained. Highly recommend Le Shabby Chateau.

My daughters, grandsons, and I stayed in this home during spring break. The home was very nice and was in a great location. We were enjoyed taking the boys to a playground that was within walking distance and the Oceanaquarium nearby.. There were many things to do that were very close to where we stayed.

Great place to stay

My siblings and I enjoyed our stay. It is in a nice neighborhood, close to all activities. It had all the things we needed and was comfortable. It has a lot of room so you can have your space. I had trouble getting wi-fi on my ipad. The trip to ship island was great. I would stay again and recommend it to others.

Weekend girlā€™s trip

The home and property were so well kept, clean and very charming. There was plenty of outdoor space and seating to relax and enjoy your time. The beach is only a few blocks away, and several great restaurants within blocks. The check in/out and ā€œthings to knowā€ process was so easy. And last, but not least, the story of Le Shabby Chateau, is so interesting.

Great place!

House and yard are immaculate! Very comfortable beds and furnishings. Kitchen had everything we needed. Owner was prompt in correspondence and very accomodating. Only negative is the house is fairly close to train tracks, but only seemed to affect a couple out of our party of seven. Definitely will stay again.

Great house!

We stayed at Shabby Chic for the month of February. It was a great house! We were there for the Gulf Coast Classic Horse Show so we shared with multiple families and it worked out really well. We also rented the cottage out back which worked great for the girl that worked for us. The owner couldn't have been nicer and we even had a cleaning service come through midway through our stay.

Happy Thanksgiving

We came down to spend Thanksgiving with our son. The house was well stocked with a nice large table, plenty of pans and spices that came in handy. We really appreciated all the extras like the shampoo and conditioner, soaps and cleaning supplies. It was nice to walk to the beach and look for shells even though it was cold.

Great place. Lovely house with plenty of space. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Plenty of sitting spaces. House was super clean and we had plenty of towels and linens. Neighborhood is quiet but you are close to train tracks and trains do run thru the area. We did not have a problem with this. There is a park with a splash pad within walking distance. Great place to stay!

Home Away From Home

From the moment we walked in the door, our entire family felt at home. Everything you'd possibly need was available...from cozy spaces large enough for us all, to smaller spaces to be alone that really felt like you were! The beach was so close and easily accessible which we loved but actually found ourselves just hanging out on the property a lot of the time. And that master bed y'all!!! Slept like a dream!! Will definitely book again! Miss Betsy is an amazing host!

Comfortable and Cozy

This sweet little house had plenty of room for our crew to either be together or apart. It's on a quiet street that doesn't get any thru traffic. The beach and a really nice park are both within a short walk. The patio outside was perfect for early morning and evening bird watching in the thick foliage that surrounds the property. I did lots of reading out there....loved it. I did have a concern about the proximity of the train track - but it wasn't really a detriment. Our grandson was fascinated and that became (next to the beach) the highlight of his day. The owner responsive and always reachable for questions. Thanks Betsy!

Love the Coast and everything about it so when I relocated, I decided I couldn't part completely with Le Shabby Chateau so decided to turn her into a vacation rental. I love to antique, junk, restore and repurpose so that fit in perfectly. I manage 20 vacation homes currently with several of them being located in the Shawnee National Forest area of Southernmost Illinois.

I bought Le Shabby Chateau in September 2006 after being recruited to the area as a marketing executive. She was a bit of a wreck having just weathered Hurricane Katrina less than a year earlier. Nonetheless, the charm and love within Her walls was obvious from the moment I walked inside. I restored Her and made her my year round home until 2011 when family illness brought me back to Southern Illinois. It wasn't until June 2013 that I decided to share Le Shabby Chateau with the world. Close to the beach! Did I tell you she was within a couple of blocks of the beach?! Close to booming downtown Gulfport, restaurants, casinos, nightlife, area attractions, New Orleans, and Mobile.

The house is quaint, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and charming. The yard is quiet, private, and in a great neighborhood.
