This custom home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to maximize your Tahoe Winter vacation. The cathedral ceiling and wall-to-wall windows offer panoramic views of the forest. Enjoy the Hot Springs hot tub after a day on the snow. There's a fully equipped chef's kitchen and living room with flatscreen TV and Sonos speakers. The wood-burning fireplace provides the perfect setting for a winter night.

We are minutes from all the Tahoe Donner amenities, including the Trout Creek Rec Center gym, lap pool, sauna and steam-room. The charming town of Truckee is just 10 minutes away and Lake Tahoe is 30 minutes.

This was a fantastic property and suited our family's needs perfectly. The amenities were very nice, kitchen and bathrooms nicely updated and the hot tub was a total bonus.

Great short-term rental!

My family of 5 really enjoyed our time at this house! The house is as described, with comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen (modern appliances, pots/pans, lots of spices, blender, plus an air fryer), and a great hot tub. Would definitely stay again!

Respite from Valley Heat

Nicely remodeled cozy cabin with the 15th hole of Tahoe Donner golf course behind the property. Very comfortable furnishings and fully equipped kitchen. Full use of Tahoe Donner amenities which are terrific.

Peaceful Home

Wonderful summer getaway

Our family had a wonderful stay. The home was perfect for our family of 4 - it's cozy, warm, clean, well stocked & all around a really lovely place. The place was recently renovated and everything was nicely decorated. The host Kerry was easy to work with and communicative. We couldn't have had a better experience and will be back!

pleasantly quaint renovated rustic cabin tucked in the pines next to the golf course

fantastic stay in the snow

great stay at this home. the host was incredibly responsive and communicative. we ended up shortening our stay by a day and the host was very accommodating. property was great, clean, and perfect for our family. recently renovated and kitchen had anything a chef needs (air fryer, alllclad, very sharp knives, the works). hot tub was a hit with the kids. will definitely want to stay here again

February 2020 Stay

We enjoyed our stay very much at this beautifully furnished cabin. The owner was very easy to communicate with and made sure we were provided all the necessary details. The window line to the backyard area was gorgeous! We could just sit there gazing all day sipping coffee or enjoying a glass of wine. We would definitely stay here again.

Favorite Cabin of All Time

We absolutely loved this cabin! If I could give it 10 stars I would. The overall impression and feel of the cabin is very welcoming and warm. All of the seating and bedroom furniture is extremely comfortable. Every where you look there is great decor and artistic touches that go well with the cabin feel. The hot tub was really easy to use and fit our group of 4 comfortably. I can't think of a thing this cabin didn't have that I wanted in a great getaway weekend. We hope to stay again and highly recommend this cabin in Tahoe!

a perfect relaxing getaway!

We loved this house so much - the decor is exactly what you would want in a Tahoe cabin - charming, tasteful, and cozy. The house is very well laid out - lots of space to hang out in a group but also plenty of privacy. We had some lovely walks on the golf course in the evening, and spent a lot of time hanging out on the deck and at the horseshoe pit. Will be back to take advantage of the ping pong table and the Donner amenities!

Perfect winter hangout for the family

Really enjoyed our stay here, two families with four adults and three young teenagers. The cabin is nicely furnished with comfortable beds, and there's plenty of space, including a great dining table with seating for eight. The kitchen is well-equipped, the fireplace throws out lots of warmth, and the WiFi / internet connectivity is good. We've rented lots of places in Tahoe over the years, this is one of the better ones. Definitely recommended.

Wonderful home

Kerry has a great home which you can tell she cares for deeply. She was very responsive and made the stay great. We had TONS of snow which was a blessing and a curse but nice with the new hot tub. Very well stocked with beautiful fit and finishes. We will be back.

Not Your Typical Cabin in the Woods

This cabin feels like home. From the beautiful setting, warm furnishings, spacious deck with hot tub, miscellaneous details (games, quality linens, kitchen supplies), and the HOA amenities you can start your vacation as soon as you walk through the door. I will return again!

Truckee Escape

This property is very nice. Everything was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub while surrounded by beautiful trees and snow. We had a beautiful day of Skiing only six minutes away. Great communication with the the owners once again. We always have an amazing time staying at this beautiful property! We especially enjoy the fireplace and the hot tub. With an added bonus this year of beautiful snow!

Beautiful home and fabulous hosts!

We reserved our stay in this beautiful home in Truckee to attend a family wedding in Tahoe. The home and accommodations were absolutely fabulous and we fell in love with Truckee. Having coffee on the deck in the morning listening to the birds was so peaceful. Preparing gourmet meals in the kitchen was so fun and gave us heartwarming memories. Playing horseshoes and enjoying the hot tub made us all happy. It was an unforgettable wedding, vacation and family time. We'll never forget this special place! Thank you to Kerry, our amazing host!

I hate to say

I hate to say this only because I don’t want people to go to this property, so much, that it becomes in available to me, but here we go! This is a beautiful property that has all the amenities. It’s well maintained, very clean, organized and makes you feel right at home. It was perfect size for our party of 4 adults and one child. The surrounding property of pine trees, chipmunks, golf course and the stars at night while sharing stories with friends in the hot tub was a soothing experience. We absolutely love this property and the owners responses when inquired. Thank you so much for this beautiful memory and we will definitely be back as long as it’s not booked LOL.

Beautiful home, beautiful setting, PERFECT!

The property is gorgeous, the host amazing! Everything about our stay was perfect. The home is beautifully appointed with lots of extra touches. The kitchen is gorgeous and well stocked, beautiful pottery and dishes! We loved the grill on the deck! Ate every meal at home while there for 3 days. The beds are super comfortable. The home is well laid out for privacy. We really enjoyed using the ping pong table and the horse shoe pit (and the hammock was an extra bonus). Very quiet neighborhood, backed up to the golf course with beautiful views. A lovely walk on the cart path to more beautiful views! The host was super responsive and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. We didn't want to leave! Thanks for an awesome visit!

Wonderful, Cozy, Tasteful & Comfortable Tahoe Donner Cabin

Our family of three had a wonderful winter weekend at the Walsh's mountain home. The house has plenty of vintage Tahoe charm but has been tastefully updated with modern appliances, finishes, and decor. Unlike some rental properties, it is evident that the owners spend a lot of time at the house and have it very comfortably equipped with all sorts of little touches that add up to a wonderfully welcoming experience -- e.g., nice soaps and lotions, attractive lighting fixtures on dimmers, plenty of firewood and kindling, good towels. Finally, a rental property with a fully equipped kitchen and decent knives! The cleaners did good work, and the property was squeaky clean for our arrival. The house is fairly compact, with smaller bedrooms and bathrooms, but the main living area is airy and spacious, with huge windows looking through pretty trees to the golf course. Kerry is a wonderful host and went above and beyond expectations to ensure a comfortable stay. Thank you!

Amazing property and incredible owners!

My family and I booked this property in the summer for our biennial ski trip. Little did we know at the time that this December California would recieve a record snowfall and the latest storm occurring the weekend prior to our arrival. Kerry was everything you could ask for in an owner….understanding, responsive, and gracious. She worked with us and allowed us to slide our trip to the right saving our trip. She was forthcoming with advice on whether to make the trip or not, even while we were headed out on our drive to the area. She went above and beyond in her communication throughout the entire process. The property itself is amazing. Beautifully decorated and furnished with nice appliances. The kitchen is supplied with everything you could want. Cozy living room. Quiet neighborhood. Close to skiing. Everything we wanted for our stay. All 5 of us in my family agreed it was the best place we have stayed for our ski trips. Would go back in a heartbeat!!

Has everything you need, and more!

Absolutely loved our stay - everything in the place was clean and had all of what we needed to make several meals. The location is also perfect and felt secluded. Can’t wait to book this property again.

Matt grew up in Colorado, and Kerry grew up in Wisconsin. Skiing and summer cabins up north are some of our fondest childhood memories. We wanted to recreate these simple classic memories for our kids (and ourselves!)

This is a custom home and everything here has been carefully chosen. Nothing cookie-cutter about it. Call it rustic meets modern. Hickory wood floors, stone wall and wood-burning fireplace, floor to ceiling windows, remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. Our great room is cozy in winter, and our huge deck allows for a lot of outdoor living in summer.

Everyone seems to love our house -- there's something magical about it. Truly beautiful and welcoming, but still feels like a classic cabin. It's much more a home than a rental. Come and see for yourselves!
