The VRBO was great! It was very clean and spacious for the needs we had. It was easily accessible by uber and subway. The host was kind in responses and directions for how to access the VRBO was easy. We had a great stay and recommend this VRBO.

Lovely, spacious apartment in a great central location! Fabe was an excellent host and answered all of our questions promptly. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was tidy and had clean towels. Check-in was a breeze as was check-out. Next time we're in Brooklyn we'll definitely be staying again!

This space is perfect and very well stocked. It is quiet and very close to many hub points. The owner is very responsive and the AC worked great. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is really lovely and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is very spacious, the projector is a great touch after a long day exploring NYC, and the location is very convenient, close to the train and many places within walking distance.The host was amazing, extremely attentive, helpful, and always responded almost immediately. We really appreciated his hospitality!The only small thing to mention is the doorway pull-up bar, which accidentally came loose and fell during our stay. Thankfully everything was okay, but it might be good to secure it a little better.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Kitchen was fully supplied and clean, as was the bathroom. Anyone looking for a centralized locale in Brooklyn will love this place. Also, super comfy bed

Unit is very well located surrounded by restaurants and stores, with a short walk to the subway. Apartment is spacious with a big bedroom and a full sized kitchen, fully stocked with everything needed to cook and clean. Host communication was very good, would definitely recommend the stay.

Descriptors are accurate, space is good and kitchen appliances are regular size. There is no surface for dining except the coffee table in the living space. I encourage anyone making a reservation to request additional bath towels. The rental was outfitted with only two modestly sized bath towels. Property manager is very responsive.

The VRBO had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bus was right out our door, as was citi-bike. Train only a 10 minute walk. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a spacious one bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Had all the essentials, though we were mostly out and didn't use the kitchen. The nights we came home early enough we were able to use the projector. The sofa is big and comfy, though a little stained. It worked for my 6'2" son and his 5'4" wife for sleeping. The apartment is close to lots of public transit. So easy to get into Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn. The host was always responsive in a timely manner. I would definitely stay here again.

On arrival, the keys weren’t in the lockbox as advised. I called the host, who said he was still in the unit and he would come to meet us. After he let us into the apartment, we noticed the dirty walls, filthy sofa and the toothbrushes, shaving supplies and deodorant in the bathroom medicine chest, the refrigerator full of food and the cabinets full of food and liquor. We realized we were in someone else’s home, so we booked another accommodation and left! We contacted VRBO customer service and they took 3 days to tell us that we were out the 1000 and that they didn’t care that we were loyal customers. NEVER USE VRBO!!

Check-in was easy. The apartment had a large bedroom, full well equipped kitchen and a large size living room, which were all really useful. The sofa in the living room is not a sofa bed and is very dirty. The sheets that were left for the sofa were stained and there is no laundry in the unit or the building as was claimed in the ad . The projector is really cool and worked well.

The apt felt safe, and we appreciated how spacious it was. It was easy and pleasant both to walk to Prospect Heights and Park Slope, and also to take a train into Manhattan. I got an awful headache the first night. In the mornig, I unplugged the 3 air plugged-in fresheners. It was spring, so we were able to keep some windows open. The building REEKS of weed. The walls are smudged dirty, and there is a covered-up hole in the bathroom. The bathroom, fridge and kitchen cabinets were filled with personal products. Not set-up for visitors. I didn't like this... There was no hand soap in the bathroom. No lovely guest amentites. Inexpensive for NY and we were glad to stay, but my husband and daughter won't return

We were a little hesitant about booking considering that there were no reviews. However, I’m quite glad I took the chance and booked it. We booked last minute and even asked if we could possibly check in early. To which the host so kindly agreed to. Check in was easy and the area wasn’t too hard to get around. The neighbourhood was quite loud at all times so there were a few nights that we didn’t get great sleep (we were pretty close to the lower level so it’s hard to avoid outside noise). Due to that, I’m not sure if I would recommend this to someone with kids. It looked pretty identical to the pictures, it was VERY spacious which was something we were looking forward to. Could’ve booked a cramped hotel for more money so this was great value. The lights in the bathroom barely work and we found a few bugs around the place (a small roach in the kitchen cupboard, and a few ants). Maybe it’s because we booked last minute, but it was a little dusty and had a sewing needle on the floor in the bedroom closet, and cookie crumbs in the kitchen floor. We later saw that this property had a sign for pest control. Not sure if those were related - didn’t personally see any rats/mice. The amenities like the projector and the speakers worked really well and we loved those. I would give this stay a 3.5/5 all in all, since that’s not an option a 4/5 is fine. We were comfortable, felt safe, and had a good time and barely ran into any issues.

This place had charm on the outside but was misleading on the inside in regards to cleanliness. We arrived to find that the property is low income housing and had notices about bed bugs, rats, and roaches.Our place was not clean in the way a proper rental vacation property should be. We found dirt and trash under the seat cushions in the living and 3 dead roaches in the kitchen and little did we know that this was just the start, as the week went on we found more and more roaches at least killing and disposing of at least 15 adult roaches and 10 babies roaches per day. So on day 2 of our trip we decided to buy traps, roache spray, and trashbags to put our belongings in to insure that none of the infestation would make it back home. The furniture was cheap and misleading as on day 6 of our stay the bed broke wilst we were sleeping in it and we found that the bed was wasn't properly put together as the bolts that are supposed to connect the headboard to the center supports were missing leading to believe the the bed maybe second hand, also the mattress was stained and in need of a steam cleaning. Also On day 5 we noticed that there was an exterminator talking to next door neighbor and she was complaining about roaches as well whilst pointing our unit as a possible source and came to our door for service.There were also a slew of others issues like missing curtains and our last day we discovered roaches in the microwave that just unacceptable. Would not recommend to ANYONE.

Ideal for us who were a group of friends visiting for World Cup. Easy check in. As described, pictures accurate.Good location, quiet street. Lots of local amenities, near subways and express A train. Area felt safe at night....so overall an easy stay, good location to experience Brooklyn and easy into Manhattan. Would recommend Nostrand Avenue Pub if you fancy a beer!Only one very small negative would be to possibly clear out previous guests condiments from fridge as not sure how long some of them had been there but otherwise would definitely recommend and pretty much a five star all round.
