The chef’s kitchen is fully stocked for home-cooked meals, while outside you’ll find a private hot tub, firepit, cornhole, horseshoes, and lounge seating surrounded by fresh landscaping.

Location, location, location!! Just a 2-minute walk to the ski shuttle, minutes from marinas, hiking trails, and Big Bear Village, Lazy Bear Lodge offers easy access to everything—restaurants, shops, and nightlife are all close by.

Big Bear Lake is a year-round playground:
- Winter: Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and snowshoeing
- Summer: Boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and golfing

Nearby favorites include Bear Mountain & Snow Summit Resorts, Big Bear Marina, Castle Rock, Alpine Zoo, Discovery Center, Grizzly Manor Café, Dank Donuts, and Big Bear Brewing Co.

There is NO AC for this cabin. Only central heating. Refunds are not given for no AC.

BUGS: Please note that this is a natural wooded area where there are bugs, insects, critters, and potential bears. Please be mindful and clean up any food that could attract any of these creatures. Please don`t leave trash outside overnight. The trash is picked up at the edge of the driveway Wednesday morning you can put trash in the bins provided and set them out for pickup.

POWER OUTAGE: Due to inclement weather, utility maintenance, and other events the power can go out during a stay. Contact host for more info and planning in case the power goes out.

LIABILITY WAIVER - By making your reservation you and the other members of your party as the GUEST agree to release the HOSTS from all liability, including financial responsibility relating to injuries & personal property damage that may occur during your stay. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising while on the property and hold the owner harmless.

WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS - The mountain areas receive severe winter weather especially in between the months of October- April. This may make driving conditions difficult and dangerous and access to our house an issue for those not prepared. The highway and side streets are plowed upon county availability so be prepared to have travel restrictions.
Access to the home is moderately steep so a snow-capable vehicle is strictly recommended to get to the house during those times. A 4x4 vehicle with high clearance and snow tires and possibly chains is ideal for snowy and icy conditions. All-wheel drive vehicles are ok if the snow is not deep. Cal Trans requires the use of chains on vehicles during storms so be prepared and consider the conditions and your risk level or contact to host to move or cancel your booking.

House Rules:

1. Please be respectful of the property and treat it as if it were your own.
2. Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. Violators of the quiet hours will forfeit their deposit and be asked to leave with no refund for the remaining days of the rental. This is not a party home. GOOD NEIGHBOR INFO: We encourage a sense of community and respect for all our neighbors and guests. We are proud that our guests are respectful of the surrounding neighbors.
3. Check-in time is any time after 4 pm. Check-out time is any time before 10 am. Please do not park in parking spaces until 4pm or if host approves sooner.
4. We do not allow smoking of any kind inside the home. There is a $500 fine for smoking in the property.
5. Parties or excessive noise are not allowed. Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 10 PM-8 AM. Violations after our initial warning may result in your removal from the property. We maintain a NO TOLERANCE policy regarding parties, excessive noise, and/or disturbing the neighbors.
Please be considerate of your neighbors and mindful of noise levels. Noise violations may result in fines. Please also note we do not provide speakers or sound systems.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. Guests recognize that they may personally purchase insurance to protect themselves in such events. The host is not responsible for any personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or damaged on the property.
7. We understand accidents happen, so if there is any accidental or intentional damage caused to the home, please let us know prior to your departure.
8. We do our absolute best to ensure you have a great time by providing a lot of games. If any of these items go missing, we, unfortunately, do have to charge the guest.
9. Furniture is not to be Re-Arranged
10. Late checkout will result in a $50 fee charged to the guest. The fee is only charged if there isn`t a prior approved late checkout.
11. No pets allowed.
12. NO glass is permitted in the jacuzzi.

All cancellations are subject to processing fees.

You will be asked to sign a Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy prior to your stay.

No amplified sound is permitted outside at any time. Indoor sound cannot be loud enough to be audible at the property line.

Use of outdoor activities is prohibited from 10 pm - 7 am.

This home accepts an occupancy of 12 but only 10 adults.
Please note, all persons (including infants, children and visitors) at the home are counted towards the total occupancy of the home. Guests cannot exceed the permitted occupancy at any time.

Winter weather warning- From November through March, all vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle.
