Less than 10-minute drive to Acadia Nat'l Park main entrance and another 5 to Bar Harbor. OR, hop on the free Island Explorer Bus right from the end of the road for easy access to Bar Harbor and all over the park - so you can leave your car(s) at home.

Whether you're hiking, biking, birding, kayaking, stargazing, or leaf-peeping, Lindsay Way Retreat is the perfect location for all of your adventures in any direction.

This cozy townhome is tucked off the main road just outside Bar Harbor town center. It's a quiet and convenient spot to unwind after taking in the sites. Plus, being just outside of town, the location makes it easy to get to any other spot on Mount Desert Island including "the quiet side", or to travel to Blue Hill and the Schoodic Peninsula for more hiking, shopping, and ocean views.

And of course, there's Bar Harbor! Start your whale-watching tour here, or shop the fun stores and chow down in any of the many restaurants. You'll find everything from lobster pounds to fine dining.

All the Details:
One of two townhomes with dedicated outdoor area for grilling, eating or relaxing. Use the BBQ grill to cook up a meal and hangout around the picnic table under the string lights and gaze up at the starts in the evenings. There's plenty of space to spread out, play catch or frisbee etc.

Inside welcomes you with bright living room with new couch and comfy chairs, HDTV (with Roku) and games. The separate dining area has large table with room for all to enjoy meals together. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to make your favorite dishes.

There is a full-size washer/dryer, and ½ bath just off the kitchen.

Upstairs are 3 roomy bedrooms, including the master with king bed and ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo.

Two additional bedrooms include one with a queen bed, and one with 2 twin beds. Each bedroom has a large closet and is roomy enough to unpack and spread out. The Queen and Twin bedrooms share the hall bathroom, which has tub/shower combo.

Free and spacious parking, plus access to garage area to store your bikes. Window air conditioners provide comfort during the summer months.

You can even leave the car at home and hop on the free Island Explorer bus, which runs mid-June until mid-October.

Drive a minute, walk or bike or to local spots including Hadley Point Beach less than 1 mile away at the end of Hadley Point Rd. Satisfy your lobster cravings at C-Ray Lobster Pound. Enjoy a flatbread pizza and other fresh food at Sweet Pea's Farm Kitchen, which also houses Bar Harbor Winery and Back Porch Coffee. Plus they grow much of their own produce. Even if you don't eat there, you have to take a stroll through their beautiful garden - everything there is edible!

End your day with a short 5-minute drive to Pirate's Cove Mini Golf, featuring two fun-themed courses!

Back at home, Lindsay Way is a quiet respite to wind down and get ready for the next day.
