The home is located within a short walk to Playa Ocotal beach and Father Roosters Restaurant! Playa Ocotal won the Blu Flag Award 2019 for being one of the cleanest beaches along Caribbean and Pacific coasts. We have coolers, towels, beach cart, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs to make your beach day more relaxing.

Begin your day with the sand between your toes or listen to the waves roll up on the beach from the patio or balcony and enjoy spectacular sunsets on the front patio. You'll see and hear howler monkeys in the trees right outside! If the pool is more your thing, just hang back and relax in the amazing pool on the property and grill area located within steps from the home. We have plenty of pool toys/air mattresses/chairs, etc. located in our home to enjoy your pool time. Also, located steps away from the world famous Father Rooster restaurant where you can dine or just enjoy a cocktail while viewing the ocean and sunrises and or sunsets!

Located only 7-10 minutes, by car, from Playas del Coco where you will find colorful shops, delightful restaurants, medical facilities, supermarkets, attractions, and nightlife.

You'll love this cozy 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom space with the upgraded features, including granite counters, stainless steel appliances, large pantry, tile floors, comfy beds including a king bed and 2 queens and black-out curtains for a perfect sleep, ceiling fans, air conditioning in each room, washer/dryer in the unit, smart TVs, cable and WiFi, which can provide guests or flexcationers with the ability to work remotely or complete online assignments while in Paradise! All linens, towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner, and kitchen supplies, including fridge water/ice maker and margaritaville blender, are provided, so make yourselves at home!

Guests of our home can also enjoy access to Coco Bay Estates (access to pool, fitness center, and tennis/pickleball courts) and The Ocotal Beach Club (infinity pool) for an extra cost. You'll be treated like a VIP and feel like a celebrity on vacation. The home is only steps away from Playa Ocotal beach and The Ocotal Beach Club. Coco Bay Estates is a short bike ride or car ride (only about a 1.5 miles from our villa or 10 min. car ride). The home is located 30-35 minutes from the Liberia International Airport.

Traveling with kids? You'll love the games available at Coco Bay Estates. There is also a little activities rental stand near Father Roosters Restaurant on the beach where you can book other adventures, like kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, surfing and more! We also have available in the Condo, beach chairs and umbrellas as well as some snorkeling gear, children’s games, beach balls and pool floats.

You'll have a great meal every time at Father Roosters while enjoying a beautiful beach setting and gorgeous Costa Rica sunsets. The Congo Trail Zipline and Monkey Sanctuary are only about 20-30 minutes from Vista Ocotal. Enjoy the gorgeous waterfall at Llano de Cortes - only about an hour away. A great adventure park called Diamante Eco Adventure Park, is only a 20 minute car ride away, where you can enjoy a dual ocean view zip line including the superman zip line. It also has the largest animal sanctuary in Guanacaste as well as enjoy the hammock beach or walking and hiking trails.

You'll find our beach close home is a perfect location as a 'hub' for you to be so close to the beach and just a quick jaunt to so many activities and excursions. Make this beach home your little home-away-from-home as you explore Costa Rica!

GETTING AROUND:
Taxis are very affordable and will cost only about $7-10 to get to the little town of Coco (our property manager can provide phone numbers for reliable taxis). Uber is also available. If you like to be active, it's fun to get around on foot or bicycle or golf cart (which both can be rented). If you want to venture to the jungle or other sites, you can easily arrange a tourist shuttle or rent a car. Rental cars do require you to purchase the mandatory insurance and will place a hold on your credit card which will be returned after you return the car, if no damages.

We will provide detailed information after the home is booked. We are happy to answer any questions guests have prior to their vacation. We also have a local property manager who will take care of any requests while the guests are staying in our home. Our home is only 30-35 minutes from the Liberia International airport (LIR). If you are a military Veteran, we currently offer a 10% discount! Let us know at booking as Veterans are very special to the owners of this villa as they are Veterans themselves.
