Luxury Vacation Home with Awesome Lake Views!

Welcome to Spencer Hill Cabins! We offer two luxury vacation rental homes nestled on a 4-acre pristine property overlooking Lake Wanahoo, one mile north of Wahoo, Nebraska).

Naw-Tee Pine is our 3 bedroom /3 bath cabin finished with knotty pine walls & ceilings, reclaimed barn wood floors and granite counters. All linens are provided.

Main Floor includes:
Large great room with dining for 10 and huge windows with amazing lake views and a large sliding door to the deck with a weber, gas grill.
Master bedroom with a queen log-framed bed and the perfect place to watch the sun rise and a sliding door access to the deck.
Fully equipped kitchen with granite counters.
Bathroom with shower over tub.

Loft includes:
King bed and 2 built-in bunks.
Bathroom with shower over tub.

Lower Level includes:
Bunk bedroom (2 sets of twin beds. Top beds are for children under 80 lbs.)
Full size sofa sleeper.
Bathroom with shower over tub.
Flat screen SMART tv with dvd player and many movies.
Access to patio, fire pit and large yard.

The quiet town of Wahoo is located 1 mile south and offers many conveniences from fast food to restaurants, banks, a bakery, a meat locker and grocery store. The town also has an 18-hole golf course, a large park and swimming pool and is the site of the Saunders County Fair. Omaha's world class Henry Doorly Zoo, the College World Series and the annual Berkshire Hathaway meeting are an hour's drive away. The Wahoo Municipal Airport is also located just 1 mile east.

We are sorry but due to allergy issues we cannot accommodate pets. We also do not permit smoking, excessive drinking or loud parties on the premises at any time.

What a beautiful home! It has a great luxe cabin vibe with all of the wood. The home was immaculately clean and was very well appointed. Plenty of clean towels and supplies. We appreciated the 1st floor bedroom for my senior mother, she was very happy there. The beds were so comfortable. My spouse and I live in a very urban area that is noisy with police/fire responses and traffic. We slept so well here with the peace and quiet of this private setting. Communications with the host were great. Messages (text and emails) were returned very quickly. We had a family dinner and there was plenty of space and lots of parking. Lots of seating options indoors and out. We had GREAT weather for our stay, in November. The kids enjoyed exploring the property and especially the teepee. Thank you!

Relaxing stay in lovely cabin

This was a very nice place to get away from it all. The cabin is wonderful, and the view of the lake is gorgeous. I especially appreciated the new mattress on the bed I slept in!

Beautiful and relaxing

We had so much fun on our family get together. We enjoyed the little trail walk to the lake and back. The house was wonderful and had great character. The set up was perfect for family time together, whether it be dinner or gameboard night or watching tv and lounging.

I appreciated the stay in this beautiful home. Teepee was great. Kids went to lake and loved it. Thank you for the call before so I knew just about everything to do while staying there. Yours was the best book off every detail of our stay needed.

Quick Family Getaway

The property was very well maintained and Linda was very available and prepared! There was plenty of outdoor green space for our kids to run around and the playground by the lake was perfect. Quick trips to the bakery and meat locker also were wonderful. We would recommend staying here without question!

Great spot for a relaxing weekend

We loved this lakeside cabin! The home is beautiful and very well maintained. The grounds are spacious and quiet. Lots of room for the kids to run and a nice fire pit for evenings by the fire making s'mores. This place is very relaxing and comfortable. If you like to fish, you have access to a great fishing lake in Lake Wanahoo.

Great place!

Linda’s home is beautiful, clean, and she adds a lot of details to ensure you have a comfortable stay. She went out of her way to look up things for us! We enjoyed our stay and our kids had so much fun! We rented kayaks through Leaha at Hammer Outfitters (402) 719-9162. Great way to enjoy the lake!

Relaxing evenings from 2 action packed days of Berkshire

Great place with everything in place. All you have to do is show up. We utilized everything at the cabin and enjoyed. We did not spend anytime on the lake as we were there for business.

Wonderful Relaxing Weekend

My family and I loved this home for our vacation. It was beautiful, wonderfully cleaned, and very relaxing. I am always nervous about places I stay concerning the cleanliness and I had no issues at all - which was comforting! We loved all the amenities the home had to offer and we plan to come back again sometime soon for a Husker Football weekend perhaps! I would recommend this place to anyone who asks!!

Amazing family time!

We had an amazing stay at Spencer Hills cabin! The kids loved the upstairs loft with the built in beds and little play area. We spent hours outside flying kites, fishing, playing kickball and having water balloon fights. We also went to the aquatic center in Wahoo which was so much fun! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cabin and create lasting memories!

Fantastic Stay

This is a fabulous place on a lake. Fantastic house that looks exactly like the pictures and was tastefully decorated. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. This would be a great place to stay in the summer, as the outdoor living and activities would be wonderful. Owners were very organized and communicative. We will stay there again! Scott

Family Homecoming

Perfect location to celebrate our mothers 82nd birthday! The cabin is perfectly appointed and immaculate! We were able to enjoy home cooked meals around a beautiful family size table. The lake view and accessibility it perfect. You can even walk into town! Loved that there were three floors. Perfect for hanging out together or getting a moment alone. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Spencer Hill

Our experience at Naw-Tee Pine Cabin at Spencer Hill was amazing. We appreciated the communication with the hosts, the cleanliness, the decor, the proximity to the lake, and all of the amenities. Rick and Linda thought of every detail, from fully supplied kitchen to outdoor games. It was an excellent setting to entertain family and some friends. The outdoor space was great for children. We highly recommend Spencer Hill cabins.

Luxury cabin offers tranquility & awesome lake views! the description says it all. Our group of 7 adults and 3 children truly enjoyed our stay. Wonderful 4th of July stay

I would highly recommend this property. Our family rented the house to celebrate my husband’s grandfather’s 90th birthday and we were able to safely have him over with some other family members without issue. The pictures do not do the home justice and everything is VERY well organized and thought through. I have stayed in many homes with my family and none have provided this much comfort, down to wood for the fire pit and skewers for s’mores! There was plenty of room for lawn games and the bedding was all extremely comfortable! Communication was excellent and prompt as well.

Amazing experience!

The property is great. We had a small family meeting here, some are from Wisconsin and others are in Denver so perfect middle point. The house is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Rick and Linda we extremely easy to work with an answered any questions we had before we arrived. The deck is great for morning coffee, the yard is perfect for daytime activities (playing cornhole, spikeball, and we set up a volleyball net), the lake is great for fishing, kayaking, or just a place to go for a quiet walk. The town of Wahoo is super close and has anything you might need. I highly recommend this for someone looking for a nice quiet getaway.

Fun for all ages!

The Spencer Hill Cabins are one of our favorite family gathering areas. Rick and Linda accommodate their guests by providing a clean, comfortable space with adequate furnishings. It feels like our "home away from home". My family and I enjoy the outdoor patio area, the green space for lawn games, and the fire pit area for roasting marshmallows. The cabins are in a private location, close to the lake, and are very spacious. We love the central location, as it is convenient for our Omaha and Lincoln family members. In addition to the beautiful scenery, Wahoo offers activities for all ages. The kids enjoyed the free pool passes, going kayaking and fishing, while others shopped at the area boutiques. Many great memories were made!

Wonderful stay for family get-together

The Spencer Hill Cabin is a beautiful place to stay. It has many details which add to the experience (soaps, paper towels, Bluetooth radio, kitchen supplies) and the owners do a great job keeping up the property! The gas grill was out of propane, but there was also a charcoal grill with supplies on the downstairs patio. The fireplace upstairs and TV downstairs really made it a great family environment. There were so many tables and chairs, that activities and meals were easy. There was some road construction, but the town is very close by, with a grocery store and Pizza Hut, etc. We didn't attempt the lake, but it is within walking distance on a trail from the cabin. Overall, we are very serious about staying there again! Thank you to the owner's for such a nice place!

My husband and I stayed here with our three children, ages 8, 6 and 3. We had a fantastic time enjoying the cabin, Lake Wanahoo and the town of Wahoo! The cabin is luxuriously appointed and amazingly comfortable. We spent one morning riding our bikes around the lake and enjoying the quiet, beautiful scenery. The town of Wahoo is incredibly family-friendly. We had a blast at the Wahoo Aquatic Center, which features a zero-depth entry and playset for small children and two diving boards, a waterslide and a fun 'leappad' feature for older kids. Our kids had so much fun in the afternoon, we came back that night for more. We happened upon a bike safety event that was being held at the park, and we walked away with free bike helmets, food, and drink! Thanks for a great stay! We will definitely be back!
