The Space:

Situated in the exclusive gated Mariners Cay community, this riverfront condo provides incredible views of Folly River from the inviting screened porch, as well as resort-style amenities, including a pool, tennis courts, and a grilling area. Walk to the beach in less than 15 minutes or drive just 10 miles to downtown Charleston. This charming escapade has been recently updated with brand-new furniture and appliances that will make cooking a breeze. Unwind in the living room furnished with a sofa and matching loveseat. A 43-inch TV with cable provides plenty of viewing options. Make favorite meals in the modern kitchen, equipped with granite countertops and a full suite of updated appliances. Perch at the breakfast bar with seating for two or gather around the dining table with seating for six. Spend lazy afternoons on the screened porch overlooking the river. Make a crisp beverage and get comfortable on the patio set with seating for four. Keep an eye out for dolphins!



Extras perks include complimentary WiFi, a washer/dryer, and parking for two vehicles in the complex lot (one reserved spot, and one unassigned space). Enjoy access to Mariners Cay amenities, including a seasonal pool and tennis courts.



Fondly referred to as the “edge of America,” Folly Beach offers the perfect vacation. Tucked between the Folly River and the Atlantic Ocean, this barrier island boasts beautiful beaches and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy outstanding views of the Morris Island Lighthouse from the three county parks, or spend the day at The Fishing Pier which extends more than 1,045 feet into the ocean. This condo is located just across the river from downtown Folly Beach. Walk 15 minutes to the ocean, with a number of restaurants and shops conveniently located on your route. Additional area attractions include Fort Sumter (15 miles), Morris Island Lighthouse (four and a half miles), and Folly River Park (a half mile).



Things to Know

Motorcycles and trailers are not permitted in the Mariners Cay complex.

The pool is open seasonally and will be available starting April 1 to October 31

I would stay again. Perfect 3 bedroom condo near Folly Beach. Its walking distance to the beach but not super close because it's over the bridge. We weren't visiting the beach so it was perfect for us. The condo was clean and I didnt really have any issues except for trying to run dishwasher. We loved sitting on porch. Its on 2nd floor so if steps are a issue for you then wouldn't recommend. But for us, it was perfect.

We have stayed at Mariners Cay dozens of times and this is one of the nicer units. We like being right on the Folly River so we can see the dolphin play and we were welcomed within the first 15 minutes by dolphin just below the sunroom. This unit is nearer to the entrance so the walk across the bridge into town is shorter. Unit was very clean and presented well. TV in every room. A couple of updates needed (bathrooms, dishwasher buttons were worn and difficult to turn on). Overall, we were pleased with this unit and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place

We loved it! Sat on the patio and we saw dolphins. It was a perfect place to hang out with our older children and play card games.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay in Folly Beach. The website description was inaccurate but has since been corrected and we received some compensation for the discrepancy. The condo was within walking distance to Folly Beach and we loved watching the dolphins every morning from the screened porch!!

Perfect family getaway

This location was perfect for getting around Charleston. We were never farther than 30 minutes from everything. You could easily bike to the beach. The patio view of the river was pleasant and we saw dolphins everyday we were there.The kitchen was small but accommodating to cook family meals. Overall, it was clean and the process was easy. We would come here again.

We were very happy with the experience. There were 4 beds, all very comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets.We were within walking distance of Folly Beach, which was actually much easier than driving because of the lack of parking at the beach (or lack of free parking). The view from the porch was lovely! It was a very quiet location (third floor, end unit). I would add that some kitchen equipment could stand to be updates (i.e. a skillet with a firm handle, some more plates). We would 100% stay here again!

Stayed at Folly Beach at Christmastime

Fantastic location on the water, very clean and comfortable. Easy in and out and convenient enough to get to Charleston. Check-in and check-out was well-executed. Only downside was that the dishwasher didn't work, but that was a minor inconvenience.

Kitchen and bath rooms need updating. Furniture not exceptionally comfortable. Main tv did not work, did receive small reimbursement for that. Kitchen needs overhaul, including amenities in the kitchen. Location decent, not too far from Folly. Nice views of river...would prefer screened in porch instead of sun room, with windows that barely open, to enjoy the breeze.

Fantastic time

Comfortable, relaxing along with plenty to do. The location is perfect for those who love the beach and sightseeing. When not doing either you can relax on the enclosed porch watching the dolphins play and enjoying the beautiful pool area. Plenty of space for everyone. Great for all ages.

Perfect for us

Were in Charleston for a wedding. Chose this location so we can be close to there, but still by the beach. So pleased with this condo. Beautiful inside and out, very close to Folly Beach and ocean...yet very close to downtown Charleston. Loved seeing the dolphins in the mornings too. Highly recommend and definitely want to come back.
