Take in a lovely view from this third-floor, beachfront condo at The Shutters, an upscale complex that features direct beach access, an outdoor pool, and elevators for your convenience. You'll be just three miles from North Carolina Aquarium At Pine Knoll Shores and five miles from Shevans Park, so you'll always have something fun to do during your stay.

Anchored by a decorative fireplace, the bright living room features a TV, a sofa, and armchairs for comfortable entertainment and group gathering. Enjoy ocean and pool views from the private, furnished balcony while enjoying morning coffee or your favorite happy hour beverage. Modern in-home essentials include central AC, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer. The primary bedroom has a ceiling fan and an en suite full bathroom. The second bedroom features a ceiling fan and a private entrance to the hall bath. There's also a bonus, a bunk room with a ceiling fan as well.

The Shutters are a great place to stay because you can walk straight down to the beach from your deck. It has both pool and a large sandy beach to enjoy.

Beautiful Condo

We loved staying here! The view of the beach is the best we’ve ever had. Short walk to get onto the sand. Very quiet community. We will definitely return!

Another great stay at Shutters

The condo was very clean, comfortable and had all we needed in the kitchen. Though there were fewer guests than usual in the rest of the complex, we had a great time.

An absolute gem!

I'm always torn between gatekeeping this wonderful spot for ourselves and publicly sharing what a truly special place that Shutters really is. What I will say is, "THE VIEWS!" They are simply unmatched, and as I type this I am feeling withdrawl from having those ocean vistas around me all day. The property is well-appointed with nice furnishings and everything you need to stay for a week; well-maintained inside and out by professional staff and conscientious homeowners; and well-situated, near Atlantic Beach shopping and Pine Knoll Shores' natural beauty. Bottom line, if you like a quiet vacation spot for your little family, and you really enjoy the beach, the pool, and magnificent ocean views, then Shutters 303 is the place to choose.

We loved it all. We did buy a can opener because there was none there. We left it there for future guests. The room was clean, quiet and well maintained. We vacationed with our granddaughters and they loved both the pool and the closeness to the ocean.

Great Trip…

We have been coming to Shutters properties for 16 years. We lost the one we normally stay in after it was taken off the market but luckily found 303. Great unit. No problems. Wonderful weather. We come back twice per year for a week. Highly recommend.

Cleanliness

Other than mold and filthy floors we got buy. We’ve always been there before Vacasa took over and had no problem then.

Wonderful

Excellent views to oceanfront. Nearby restraunts in Morehead City and Beaufort were phenomenal! This home was very clean. Highly recommend a much bigger TV 32inch is too small. Selection of drinking glasses ( 3ea ) a bit low! A bad storm combining rain and 25 mph winds cause water leak at door to deck. Otherwise a wonderful VACA.

Not worth the cost

The location of the Shutters condos is great! The condo was really just ran down and did not look like the owner put much care in maintaining it. Broken table on the deck, mold in the master bathroom bath. Pots and pans with limited selection and looked worn out. It wouldn't be so bad if it was about a third cheaper than what we paid.

Beautiful view... terrible experience

The view could not be beat! but the property and the interaction w/the property mgmt company was the worst. The property was not clean, the ice maker did not work, the dishwasher did not work and the was infested w/fleas! I called to have these things fixed and the maintenance guy came (he was very nice and did his best), but I was there for over 6 weeks and NOTHING was fixed before I left. Additionally with the fleas, you couldn't sit on the couch or you were covered w/fleas. The exterminator moved the couch and told ME i needed to clean under the couch... oh really. I asked for a partial refund for my stay because of all of the issues, including that the fireplace that was listed as "working" was disconnected and received no response and no partial refund. I've used VRBO before and have never had such a terrible experience. My guess is that it's with this property management company and the way they're handling their properties. It was cheap because it was off season, the view SPECTACULAR, but the nasty conditions negated the whole experience....

The Shutters

The view was magnificent and the location excellent. Beautiful beach. The condo was not very clean though. The shower curtain liner was loaded with mold. I had to go out and replace it on my own dime . Light bulbs out in several locations. ( one over the shower, too high to reach and no replacement bulbs. Ice maker does not work. Toilets and shower had mildew. I had to clean with Clorox myself. We rented two weeks - not given enough toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags or dishwasher tablets. The toilet in the guest bathroom was leaking. A plumber had to be called and we had to wait a day to fix it. In the meantime, we had to mop up the wet floor. Molding under vanity was wet and came off due to likely months of toilet leaking. My guests complained of sand in the sheets. The dishwasher needs to be replaced. The turntable in microwave did not work. I have rented here before but this time it was not cleaned well at all and is in need of TLC. Prices have gone up considerably with high booking fees and can not afford two weeks anymore.
