New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

This wonderful oceanfront home is a fantastic vacation choice. Inside, you'll love the pleasing decor, hardwood floors, gas fireplace, and three main bedrooms equipped with TVs. Travel by electric car? This home includes an electric car charger (bring your own charging connector).

Irish Mist is the perfect home for entertaining, with two refrigerators (one dorm fridge) and a wet bar with an ice maker. The entry-level sitting room is a great place to relax. Enjoy multiple TVs, DVD players, and stereo/CD players with surround sound while you relax in the bright, spacious living space. The top-floor loft/tower is a wonderful spot to unwind and take in the scenic water views.

Outside, you'll love the plentiful ocean views and furnished decks, as well as the hot tub and private pool with free solar heat. Enjoy the screened porch area for the optimal place to rest and relax in the shade. Everyone in your family will appreciate the easy walk to the beach via the boardwalk and the abundant Atlantic views that can be seen throughout the house.

Irish Mist is the perfect place to enjoy great amenities and form fantastic vacation memories on your next trip to the Outer Banks.

Perfect location!

This house is perfectly located ocean-front. The view from the deck is something to be treasured, and the short walk over the dunes to the beach is easy access and isn’t difficult.

Loved the quiet of the area, private pool, beautiful ocean views. Was just the peaceful, laid back vacation we were looking for. The steps are a challenge, especially if you have back or knee issues. At least a small luggage elevator would be a great addition!!

The location was amazing. The weather, thanks to Hurrican Ian, was not great, at all. The house was clean and neat, except the stove, that could have used a little more attention. Will stay there again.

Great Off Season Home

We wanted an oceanfront property in the middle of the pandemic that was large enough to provide some of us quiet spaces for working and comfortable spots to gather together. This home did both. And the views, especially from the "crows nest" were just what this group needed in 2020.

This is the best cottage we have ever stayed in since we have been coming to the outer banks which has been for the last 30 yrs. We don`t come every year but probably about 20 times of the 30 yrs. We really enjoyed the pool and everything about the cottage. We will probably try to rent this one again in the future. I looooove the Paradise Penthouse. When my father was traveling with me (recently passed at age 91 years) he had an awesome experience with the ramp to the beach and viewing deck. The elevator was great for him and he was able to enjoy the beach from the viewing deck without having to struggle walking on the beach. The ability to travel with my dog was probably the number one reason I book this property. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Great home with amenities

We really enjoyed our stay. The home has great amenities including a private pool, hot tub, and it’s just a short walk to the beach. Keep in mind, though, that there are quite a few stairs and the walk to the beach involves a hill, which could be a bit of a challenge for some. The rate we paid was quite high, likely due to the last-minute booking over the 4th of July holiday. If you’re considering this property, I definitely recommend booking early to get a better deal. One heads-up: the cleaning crew arrived exactly at checkout time, and we were only five minutes over. The cleaner seemed a bit stressed and wasn’t very friendly — understandable, perhaps, given the holiday rush, but still something to be aware of. Overall, a great place to stay if you plan ahead and are mindful of checkout timing!
