Leave work behind. Great private single family beach front house WITH private POOL, HOTTUB and with a private (shared by only a few homes) wooden walkway to the beach! Only ONE minute walk. (Google has an error on our location and says 15 minutes but it is less than a two minute walk-- you see the ocean from our deck and we are right behind the dunes) Two decks, hot tub, 4 bedrooms (two queen beds, one full bed, two twin beds, two convertible sofas (queen beds)), 3 baths, washer/dryer, fast wifi, outdoor grill, appliances, granite countertops, bar, and full kitchen. Outdoor shower (Please note it is an "Outdoor" shower and may have sand in it!) A bike ride away from stores and restaurants. After a day at the beach, this is a great house to relax and lay out and dance on the deck. SORRY YOU CAN NOT BRING ANY PETS . NO SMOKING---. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: 8

Comfortable home! Great location! Owners responsive. Our family of 7 enjoyed our week in OBX! We went to the beach, swam for hours in the pool & hot tub, enjoyed local adventures (kayaking & jet skiing) and spent the evenings basking in the cotton candy sunsets. Their home made for a comfortable location to create a memorable family vacation.
The sunrise peeking over the dunes on the path toward the beach.
Storm clouds rolling in. On windy days we could hear the waves crashing from our bedroom.
The sunset from the top deck of the house. The tunes from the shaved ice truck occasionally echo through the streets- a sweet ending to a great beach day.
Day trip in Corolla! We saw the wild horses roam.

Amazing stay!

Amazing location, great outdoor seating areas, pool and hot tub are perfect for the evening or a break from the beach. Thank you for sharing your house with us. We had an amazing time! Definitely would stay here again :)

Wonderful week!

We had a great stay location is nice and the walk to the beach isnt bad very quiet neighborhood aswell makes great evenings on the porches and with plenty outdoor seating. We was must impressed with the communication. We had a few small issues and was immediately addressed and very easy to talk with and get ahold of. Look forward to staying again soon! Thanks Murphys

We had a great stay. The house is spacious and accommodated us well. The pool and hot tub were clean and the water was well kept. House could use a few maintenance items completed, but overall a nice place to stay.

2024 summer trip

Home was as advertised, close to the ocean compared to others Very nice small town, no crowds. Owner communicated everything very well along with very thorough local info on things to do, restaurants, etc. Thanks for the great trip

great location

House was exactly what was describe, family walk 2 minutes to the beach, then to the pool and hot tub. Kitchen was very big and able to have the whole family eat together. Would definitely rent the house again. Owners responded very fast with any questions

Beautiful house in great location

House is beautifully decorated and well maintained, and a very easy walk to the beach. We were really impressed with the owner's responsiveness and the amount of stuff in and outside of the house for us to enjoy (bikes, games, chairs, the hot tub). Even with lousy weather most of the week, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and would go back anytime!

Great vacation

The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The walk to the beach is easy! And it’s a wonderful beach. It was never crowded. We usually stay in Corolla but liked this area much better. I would say this was one of best OBX vacations ever.

Amazing Family Vacation

Host was WONDERFUL answering all of our questions about things to do in the area, particulars about the house, etc. Home was beyond perfect for our family. Well stocked kitchen ,lots of room, games, puzzles, very comfortable beds, close to beach, pool was so fun and all the beach gear we could use including boogie boards and beach chairs. We rented bikes for the week which was an added source of fun. Thank you for this amazing peaceful relaxing week!

Great house and location.

Great house and location. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms do have blinds but no curtains to keep the sunlight out for sleeping in. There were plenty of leftover beach chairs and even an umbrella during our stay. I would recommend bringing a beach cart to help with getting chairs, coolers, etc. down to the beach.

Steps from the beach and views of ocean

Wow…we were so amazed at how close this was to the beach. Right at the end of the steps was a beautiful wood walkway all the way to the ocean. And the house looked like a New York City apartment…decorated so classy. The view of ocean from top deck was a treat…and the pool and hot tub lit up with fun colors at night made it over top. Best beach house rental ever. My girls trip will be at this house again next year!

Great stay in a great beach house

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay in this home. Our daily routine was to enjoy our coffee on the balcony facing the ocean, walk the 800 feet to the beach to enjoy the surf, head back to the outdoor shower to rinse off, and then hang out by the pool until lunch time. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with every dish, cup, and cooking utensil you could want with enough of them to feed a village! There’s even large pots and wooden mallets to have your own seafood boil. Lastly, the hosts were very responsive and kept in contact throughout our stay to answer any questions or concerns.

Nice house

Brand new pool! Nice house, owner very responsive and helpful. Living area very well decorated and fantastic back porch. Very close to beach. Some of the bedrooms had slight odor on arrival, and the house needed a few odds and ends, like dish towels. Very easy fixes and then it’s 5 stars.

It is so hard to review renters as we are not down there to visit or inspect the house but Elizabeth and her crew were great. You are welcome back any year -- and with a discount for towels....

Beach get together

It was the perfect space for (4) ladies who enjoy being together at the beach. The living room area was the perfect space to entertain, dine, cook and relax. The bedrooms were spacious enough. It was a very short and easy walk to the beach and there was a view of the ocean from the 2nd floor deck where we enjoyed the sunrises. The only drawback was (1) full bath, but with the outdoor shower it worked out fine. There is a 1/2 bath on the 2nd floor which was very convenient. Great location on the Outer Banks and an intimate space for enjoying the beach.

Best stay!

Honestly this house is just Beautiful!!. This felt more of an actual experience of a beach house. The pool and hot tub was the star of this stay! I would make sure to bring floaters for the kids, but they have almost every pool item. They had everything we needed. All appliances and essentials you would need. The area was so peaceful and at night you could sit out on the balcony and hear the ambiance of the beach sounds (very relaxing) Tami and Walter were really great with communication. Especially with taking their time in messaging for all the activates we could do, the restaurants they would recommended and stores in the area. Please do not pass on this gem!

Beautiful location

Overall we enjoyed our family vacation, first timers to the OBX. As far as cleanliness the house wasn’t cleaned well and there was a lot of dust, which was upsetting after traveling 12 hours.. I had to do my own cleaning when we arrived. The owner was very responsive which is a plus. The deck was a little dangerous and we felt unsafe for kids. Parts of it was loose and the width was too wide. On the positive side the house was right near the beach and had a great pool and hot tub!!

We are glad you enjoyed your vacation. We are sorry you were not comfortable on the 3rd level deck…it is up to code and a spectacular view of the ocean. I am glad you enjoyed the amazing kid friendly fenced in ground floor pool, hottub and game area. We hire professional cleaners and an inspector who rushed to accommodate your early arrival. The inspector cleared it before you entered. We offered to have another service come in immediately when you mentioned it was dusty but you declined. We hope you return to Salvo…enjoy your fall.

We had a really good time at this house and would recommend it with a couple caveats. Pros: The location is awesome! it's not ocean front but 2nd row with clear view of the ocean. Easy walk to the beach, close enough to go back and forth for lunch. The beach is nice and not overly crowded. The check in process is simple and needed no assistance. The bedrooms are small but enough room and comfortable beds. The kitchen and common room is great! It's all one room and great for family and friends. Pool and hot tub are really nice with plenty of seating. Cons: The kitchen frying pans need replacement. Fine if you eat out a lot but not if you are cooking. The glassware is sparce and not really a set. Basically, kitchen equipment needs upgraded. The grill needs cleaned under the burners, it turns to flames. The beach chairs are pretty worn, bring your own. The wooden deck is a little rough, make sure to wear shoes on the deck and stairs. The internal stairs are creaky, some may have an issue if they are light sleepers and other are still up. Overall - we would rent this house again. We had a really good time and the house contributed to it through location, pool, common areas and sitting on the deck hanging out.

Amazing Beach Home with Ocean View and Sunsets, too!

This is an amazing beach home. Beautifully decorated inside and out with blue and white furniture. Gorgeous art work. Spotless. Wonderful amenities. The views from the balconies were stunning - one side looks over the ocean, the other side catches the sunset. We loved the short walk to the beach on the private board walk each day. We loved our soak in the brand new hot tub. We dipped our toes in the refreshing pool. Played corn hole games and watched movies on the big screen TV. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. The beds are super comfy and fluffy towels and sheets provided. The beautiful main living room drew light from windows on all four sides of the house which made it airy and bright. The owners take pride in this property and you can tell with their personal art and top notch furnishings. They made sure everything was perfect upon arrival and were great to communicate with. We HIGHLY recommend this property for a fantastic beach vacation. We would love to come back.
