A beautiful Lake Couchiching location for summer and winter activities. Western sunsets and a wide open lake view with islands dotted in the distance. The large level lot and private wade in sandy beach offer children a safe, enjoyable environment for swimming, building sand castles and other activities and the sheltered bay offers protection from the wind. This means you'll get maximum enjoyment while you're by the water.

This 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house sleeps up to 8 guests and is 90 minutes from Toronto, has large principal sun filled rooms and comes equipped with high speed internet access, satellite television, dishwasher, air conditioning, cathedral ceilings, washer/dryer, fireplace, lakeside firepit 2 large decks, and parking to accommodate several cars.

Casino Rama is nearby, offering nightly entertainment, concerts and shows, 10 restaurants, and a sports bar. Ski hills within 20 minutes. Within Orillia you'll find a charming downtown, movie theatre, restaurants, grocery stores and everything you need to make your stay an enjoyable one.

House rules are included as part of our rental agreement.

At any time during your stay the total number of day and/or overnight guests using the property can not exceed the number of guests listed on the owner's rental agreement, unless authorized in writing by owner.

Family time at the cottage

We were 7 adults staying for a week and there was more than enough room. Its so nice to stay at a property (and I have stayed at a lot over the world) where its obvious its also used by the owner. All the little touches that make it feel more like a home and lived in. You feel like you are in the heart of cottage country but are close enough to the town. There is nothing you can walk to in the way of shops or restaurants. The owner is super helpful and provides lots of information. The kitchen is well equipped, with all cleaning supplies and equipment which is great as I do like to clean up and leave it all neat and tidy. We really enjoyed out stay, thank you

Relaxing get away

We had a lovely week away at this cottage. Every morning we took a stroll with our dog and 18 month old down to the end of road to look at the other cottages. The view was lovely with some great sunsets. Big spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and the host was easy to connect with if/when needed. We would definitely return when the weather is a bit warmer so we could spend some time in the water.

PERFECT! 10/10! (for both adults and toddlers!)

If you're looking for a cottage that can handle "3 generations", this is it! My husband and I, my adult children and my 2 grandsons stayed here and we LOVED it! The beach and water are absolutely beautiful and perfect for young children! Our 3 year old grandsons played there for hours. The water is so shallow, calm and clear, we felt the children were absolutely safe! No concerns regarding water safety at all. There are also no weeds and no sharp rocks. Just a beautiful sandy bottom to walk on. The view is spectacular and the adults loved it! The canoe was also thoroughly enjoyed by all! The cottage is SUPER clean, spacious and well laid out. Pics are very accurate. It has all the amenities you need, but it also has that warm, quaint, calm, "cottage feel" to it. The location offers you privacy and that sense of "peaceful escape", but it is also super convenient to have the town within an easy drive. The host was FANTASTIC! Communication was easy and seamless. He was very professional, yet very approachable and he went out of his way to ensure we had a great trip. He was very knowledgeable and his recommendations ("Tailwinds" and "Mariposa Market") were Excellent! We are VERY familiar with cottage life and I would have to say this is the BEST cottage we have ever visited. Definitely a 10/10! You won't be disappointed. We can hardly wait to go back next year!

Great family vacation on the lake

We had a great stay at this property. The upstairs bedrooms accommodated everyone well and each bedroom has its own bathroom which was very welcome. We also made use of the single bedroom on the main floor which was nice. The large kitchen had everything we needed to allow us to prepare meals at the cottage together. The large dining room area was perfect for family dining. The living room and deck overlooking the back of the property and lake were both great spots to enjoy conversation, a game or just relax and enjoy the view. We loved the beach access, deck area and the kayak / canoes to borrow to roam the water a bit. The neighbourhood is lovely and friendly. It provided a nice and safe area for a dog walk and short bike ride for children. Clinton was responsive and informative throughout the booking process, prior to check in and during our stay. Highly recommend! :)

Great cottage!

Communication with Clinton was seamless. Great little spot to relax and take in the view. We went in winter so missed out on the fun summer activities of the cottage but it was relaxing. It snowed a lot during our stay but snow was removed in a time manner.

Wish we could have stayed longer

We are 4 mature adults and we had a wonderful week at the cottage and we're sad to leave, it was warm and cozy, everything we expected and more. We all felt really relaxed staying there.

Family get away

Had a great time relaxing with our adult children and granddaughter. Beach area was perfect for our young granddaughter. We enjoyed kayaking, frolicking in the water and watching birds. A trio of swans visited one morning. Amazing. Casino Rama is within walking distance for adult fun. A great week.

Perfect Getaway

We had a fantastic time on our first cottage vacation last week. The sandy beach and shallow water was one of the main reasons we were drawn to this property since we have young kids. My 1 year old and 5 year old loved playing in the sand and being able to enter the water from the sand. The property had a ton of water and sand toys and there were kayaks which we used. The lake was so peaceful. The view from the living room was amazing!! There was a huge lawn area as well. We saw bunnies, ducks, fish, chipmunks and a baby turtle. It really felt like a little slice of paradise!! The house itself was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with cookware and utensils!! Also, the cottage was close to all amenities. Our host was fantastic, very pleasant to communicate with and very responsive!

Great option for young families.

Nice place close to town. We were there in March but think the beach would be perfect for kids in the summer. 4 full baths made bedtime for 2 young families easy. Orillia recreation center was a great option for rainy days. Clint was very responsive and helpful.

A lovely quiet respite in the snow

We enjoyed a very quiet week on the very cold lake, reading and watching movies by the fireside... and watching the neighbor create (and recreate) a skating rink on the pond. A much needed respite. The floors and facilities could not have been cleaner... something we really appreciate.

Great Vacation!

My family and I had a great week at this property, everything was clean and ready to use. It includes a lot of supplies that you may need for your stay. The private beach was beautiful and the property owner was very well organized. I look forward to coming back!

Great for families with young kids

Lovely property and a beautiful view of the Lake. Cottage is set up very nicely, most of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms and we were able to stick the toddler & baby upstairs (away from any noise in the main living space). The beach was amazing for toddlers. Clinton (the owner) was great!

Extended stay

We stayed for a extended period due to a renovation and the cottage worked perfectly for our family of 5 plus our mutt. Clint was very helpful and accommodating. Cheers

Beach house

This was just what we where looking for, a great little beach for the kids with shallow water for at least 40 feet probably more and great veiw of the lake. Overall a great time had by all.

A great ladies weekend away

Beautiful clean and cozy cottage, perfect for a relaxing weekend for a group of girlfriends to catch up. Peaceful lakefront. Washrooms for every bedroom. Lots of seating in dining and living rooms. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great cottage for family holidays!

Three families with many kids under 7 years old enjoyed the property and location. The cottage is very large and has many bathrooms to accommodate a large group of people. Would definitely recommend!

Great fully stocked cottage

My family had our thanksgiving dinner there and we had a blast. Host was fantastic, everything was well stocked / kept and we really enjoyed ourselves. Caneoes and kayaks were available so we were able to enjoy some time on the water in spite of the cool fall weather. Thanks!

Perfect place for family vacation with young children

Great, as usual. We rent this cottage to enjoy family time with our two sons, their wives and our three young grandchildren. There’s enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably, for lively family lunches and dinners, for board games in the evening, as well as for quiet time by yourself when you need to rest. The fire pit is great for roasting marshmallows while teaching safety around fire to young kids. The water is shallow over quite a long stretch which is also safer with young children. We enjoyed the visit of a few ducks and ducklings families (a few of the tiny ducklings even nibbled our toes); an otter; a turtle; multitudes of beautiful singing birds; red squirrels and chipmunks. What else can you hope for when vacationing with young children?
