Escape to your lakefront getaway on Otsego Lake—Northern Michigan’s perfect year-round retreat!
Wake to sunrise views over calm waters, sip coffee on the balcony, swim and boat all summer, or relax by the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit after a day of skiing or snowmobiling.
Sleeps 14 guests comfortably with two living rooms, a full kitchen, balcony, grill, and a private dock on an all-sports lake.
Linens provided. Just 6 miles to Treetops Resort and 8 min to downtown Gaylord! Grocery store only 6 minutes away.
Wake up to panoramic Otsego Lake views. After a day at Treetops (6.4mi) or Otsego Resort (≈8 mi), unwind by the fire pit. Snowmobile access less than a mile away. Bring the crew, we sleep 14. At Otsego Lake Escape, you’ll find the perfect space for family gatherings, reunions, or group getaways.
Our home sits directly on the lake with breathtaking views and a private dock (available seasonally, generally May–September). Enjoy direct access to all sports Otsego Lake with a sandy, shallow shoreline perfect for kids and swimming! Kayaks are available for use depending on the season.
On the main floor, enjoy a spacious master suite, a fully stocked kitchen, and a living room featuring a beautiful stone fireplace and large windows overlooking the water. You’ll also find a laundry area for added convenience.
Upstairs offers two additional bedrooms, another full bathroom, a second living room with games, puzzles and books, and a loft area with a bunk bed and sofa sleeper plus an incredible panoramic lake view.
For winter guests, a dedicated snowmobile gear storage room in the garage makes this home the perfect Up North getaway for every season!
Spend your evenings gathered around the fire pit or take a peaceful boat ride at sunrise when the water is calm. Whether summer or snow season, every stay here feels like a true Northern Michigan escape!

We’re Lisa & Bob, the couple behind Otsego Lake Escape
Here’s a fun fact… both of us grew up coming to Otsego Lake as kids camping, swimming, tubing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and making memories with our families. The funny part? We didn’t even know each other back then!
Fast forward a few years (okay, maybe more than a few ), and now we get to bring our four boys here to do the exact same things we loved growing up. From fishing poles to campfires to cannonballs off the dock, this lake is pure nostalgia mixed with new memories in the making.
That’s why we created Otsego Lake Escape so you can unplug, laugh a little louder, and make your own traditions on this beautiful lake.

We’ve always loved this stretch of Otsego Lake because it captures everything we adore about Northern Michigan peaceful mornings, friendly neighbors who wave as they pass by on their pontoons, and the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. You’re close enough to downtown Gaylord for great restaurants, shopping, and festivals, yet tucked away just enough to truly unwind. Whether it’s snowmobiling right from the driveway in winter or playing in the lake in the summer, this area just feels like home and we’re so grateful to share it with you.
