This exceptional ski chalet has everything you could want! Beautiful mountain views, three spacious bedrooms, one being a master suite with private full bath. Gas fireplace in the living room. Deck towards the view. Vaulted ceilings in the bedrooms on the second level. Great room in the basement with full bath. This chalet is close to the Bethel village and located on Town Road, 8 miles from Sunday River ski resort.

Enjoy all that Sunday River has to offer while staying at our beautiful home! Again, Only 10 mins away from Sunday River ski resort and a short drive to Mt Abram. Our house comfortably sleeps 8 in beds with additional sleeping capacity available (linens included). This ski chalet is beautifully appointed with all the comforts of home including wifi, apple tvs, laundry, gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, 4 full bathrooms, and a game room with pool table, dart board, and an arcade center!

Great winter vacation.

Home was wonderful. Amazing basement area with games and bar. Loved the outdoor fire pit area. Very close to town of Bethel and Sunday River. Highly recommend!

Ski trip success

The Gingerbread House was perfection! From the great layout to the curated decorations this was the best home we have ever rented. When Sunday River was closed for dangerous wind conditions the day was saved by all the fun we had playing games at the house! The location was private, but convenient and the views were gorgeous!

The house decor definately represented Maine. It was everything we were looking for our girls bachelorette weekend. We wanted it to be relaxing and low key and the house definately gave off that vibe. Highly recommend this place!

Great Getaway

The Gingerbread was a fantastic getaway during a stressful time. The house was clean and comfortable with fantastic views and wonderful personal touches. It was so good that we would have extended our stay an extra week if it wasn't booked right after us.

Beautiful setting

My husband and I rented this home to celebrate our 20 year anniversary and would do it again! The house was beautiful and well kept and the views are breathtaking! The owners were easy to get into contact with for a couple of general questions we had. Highly recommend!

Great cabin close to Bethel

The Gingerbread was great. All was as advertised, the beds were comfortable and the kids loved the game room. We came at the end of July, so warm as expected so had to keep up with opening the windows and turning on ceiling fans. We maybe should have brought one or two more box fans to really keep the air moving. Would stay again!

Wow! All I need to say is, my family was off their phones!! This house was a perfect getaway to reconnect as a family. The home is beautifully appointed- I loved all the details I initially saw in the photos when I booked (beautiful views, SO many sources of fun and entertainment) but ended up enjoying it even more when we were there. The owners have attention to detail- so even the decor was whimsical but tasteful and luxurious. As I mentioned, my 2 teens had their phones away for hours and hours at a time while they relaxed and played in the game room. I was hoping my family could reconnect and have quality time together and this beautiful home provided that. We already miss it! Thank you!

Fabulous & fun house!

We just stayed at the gingerbread house with our 2.5-year-old son and good friends and had a blast. The house itself has a great set-up and was very clean. The hosts communicated very clearly with us and were quick to respond to inquiries and were very accommodating with some special requests. Would highly recommend this - especially given proximity to sunday river for skiers - to anyone!!

What a Stay

This is a great home. So comfy, cozy, and bright. I spent time with my family, kids, and the kids friends. They went snowboarding while we hit up the local spots and then quite quality time enjoying the jacuzzi. The hosts is AMAZINGLY friendly and informative! Hope to make it up again soon

Off the beaten path

My wife and I were taking our first trip in a few years with just us and this cabin the woods of Maine was the perfect choice to make that happen. The cabin itself had everything needed for settling in and having a great time there, games, great views, the stars at night!!! The cabin was located in a great spot, fairly close to a small town with great grocery options, awesome restaurants, and quick access to tons of hiking and exploring. We cannot recommend this cabin enough for those looking to stay in this area!

Great spot for a families

We were in Bethel to visit Sunday River over Christmas week and this home exceeded our expectations. Recent record floods meant many of the area businesses were closed and the skiing was very limited, but we had a wonderful stay in this home and didn't mind spending more time staying in. I contacted the owner to check on the area conditions prior to traveling over a thousand miles for our visit and he promptly responded. It is a very short and easy drive into town and to Sunday River. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and being able to do laundry and have a giant mudroom when staying somewhere for a ski week is always a plus with a family and their gear. There is plenty of comfortable seating for dining and lounging in front of the fire or TV. The basement game room provided hours of family entertainment. We picked up some firewood from the Shell station on the way home from the slopes one afternoon so we could enjoy roasting marshmallows and hotdogs in the outdoor firepit in the light snow. The downstairs bathroom does have a tub which can be important if you have smaller children. I really can't think of any negatives. The only very minor suggestion that I can even come up with if forced to do so would be perhaps a step stool for shorties like myself (5 ft 2 in) so I could reach the tops of the tall kitchen cabinets or to the fabric softener on top of the stacked washer dryer but that is being nitpicky. This vacation rental is as perfect as it gets.

Beautiful, spacious, quaint

My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend. We had a great time just relaxing by the fire and Watching movies. We cooked a nice dinner, and enjoyed the lovely views over the balcony. The hot tub is perfect. The master suite has a very comfy bed. We will definitely be back

Golf Trip
