Wonderful Place To Stay Between Brenham And Round Top

This beautiful guest house has a wonderful country setting for you to relax after a day in Brenham, Round Top or any of the surrounding country side. It is also a short distance to Lake Sommerville and several local and State parks.

The house has a comfortable queen memory foam mattress with luxury bedding and linens. The main room also includes a wood burning fireplace with two reclining leather chairs to enjoy the quiet evenings.

The sitting area is well stocked with over 100 books for your reading pleasure. The side table can be expanded to use as a dining or game playing table. You also have a 42' LCD TV, Blu-Ray DVD player and DirecTv available for your entertainment.

The Guest House also has a kitchenette for you to create your own meals. The kitchen is stocked with all of your kitchen needs - flatware, plates, serving dishes, toaster oven (big enough for a pizza), microwave, two burner stove, sink and mini-fridge.

The bathroom has a shower with a rainhead and is stocked with linens for your use.

The house also has a loft with two single beds and a sitting area. (NOTE: the stairs leading to the loft are steep - please use caution).

You will have beautiful grounds to enjoy during your visit - you have majestic oak trees that have picnic tables and swings underneath them. When you leave the front door every morning, you are greeted by a fragrant rose and flower garden.

Dogs are not allowed in the guest house; however, if you would like to bring your pet, we have an air-conditioned and heated dog house available (provided you clean after your dog's use).

Me and three of my friends set up in Round top and we’re looking for someplace close by. We were so lucky to land on this cottage. It was the cutest, coziest, most comfortable place. Everything was very clean. You have everything there you need. The host were the sweetest and completely accommodating. When we came back, after a very long day, it was exactly what we needed…RELAXING! . We are definitely going to make arrangements to stay again.

Country Living in Style

This is one of the nicest Vrbo we have stayed out when away from our home in Colorado. If you want to get away to a quiet and secure place, but is still only 6 miles from the big city of Brenham, look no further. The bed is so comfortable, you won’t want to get out of it. And I would add, if you happen to be there around Christmas, the Christmas lights are, well you would just have to see to believe. The details taken to maintain the charm of this little house are perfectly chosen. The owners are genuinely caring and accommodating. My wife and I are glad we stumbled across this place by accident. And look forward to staying here again when we come back to visit our kids and grandkids.

Country Getaway

This cottage house is awesome ! Located on a farm with the most perfect peaceful and calm setting , if your life is busy and chaotic, this is the perfect place to unwind and relax 😌 . The owners are awesome people , they are there for you to make your stay as awesome as possible. I will definitely be back in the future !

Quaint and cute cottage getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this charming little cottage. We spent the week shopping in Round Top at antiques week and loved the convenience of the location and the peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Rachael and Greg were very quick to respond to any questions we had and made us feel very welcome. I would love to stay here again when we return to the area. If your looking for a great space dont hesitate to choose this little place.

Hello! We thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was very clean and we felt secure with the gate access. The hosts were on top of it, accommodating, and made sure we, as guests, were happy!

Our hosts were responsive & delightful, The cottage was quaint & comfortable.

Great Stay

Clean quiet and lovely!

Our stay was completely wonderful from the moment we walked through the front door until the day we left. The owners were so very helpful. They went beyond the call of duty with helpful suggestions about the Roundtop area to helpful tips to navigate the antique festival. Our accommodations were so welcoming and provided us with everything we needed to enjoy our stay and more. Even to the extent of helping us with packaging and shipping if we needed. Thank you Rachel and Gregg! We will be back.

A comfortable place to lay your head after a long day of shopping in Round Top and Warrenton.

A quaint home we affectionately named the "Peter Rabbit House". Comfortable beds, kitchen accommodations small but adequate for our needs. Owners where there for anything we needed. Thank you again!

Beautiful property! Very relaxing!

This property is located on 5 acres between Brenham and Round Top- very convenient to both. We were able to visit both towns. The cows from the adjacent farm came up in the morning. We enjoyed the outdoor seating in the evening and the cool breezes under the large oak trees. Just what we wer looking for!

Charming Cottage

My friends and I visited Round Top during antiques week and were fortunate enough to stay at this charming cottage. The cottage was lovely, cozy, and in a perfect location for shopping in Round Top and walking around historic Brenham. The bed was so comfortable, it made it hard to get up early to go antiquing! Rachael was super helpful at arranging everything for us and went above and beyond to recommend places to visit and where to eat. We really enjoyed our stay.

One of the main benefits is that the guest house is in the middle of the country, but in under 10 minutes, you are in downtown Brenham and in Round Top in under 20 minutes. This makes the property perfect for Round Top Antique Fair and other local celebrations. Additionally, the cottage is 20-30 minutes from Lake Sommerville which allows most water activities (ie. fishing, boating, water sports, picnicing, etc.) Plus, there are several local and state parks close-by to enjoy.
