We (3 couples) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Poletti. It is well located in the middle of Lake Como activity and has plenty of room for 6-8 people. The roads are a bit challenging, but we got used to them. I highly recommend this property

We had an amazing stay at Villa Poletti! It is beautiful and the views over the lake were extraordinary. We celebrated our 39th Anniversary there with friends and family by having a chef from Salice Blu come and prepare an amazing tasting menu for us. It was definitely our best gastronomical experience during our two weeks in Italy. Also, the property was immaculate and extremely well stocked. All in all it was a superb stay!!

Once we found the villa the check in was easy. House was clean and pretty much as advertised. The location is pretty far out of town. You can walk to town but put your life at risk on the road. Getting in and out of the driveway took 3 people. The blind corner was scary.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. Emi was very responsive and exceptional. The Villa is a 30 minute to downtown Bellagio, but itā€™s a nice (sometimes harrowing) walk through the surrounding area. Strongly recommend it!!

Family vacation

We were in Lake Como for a wedding and wanted to stay close to Bellagio. The property was perfect with incredible views of the lake. The owner, Karin was very helpful. She provided us with information needed for our stay and explained everything in English. We had a great time staying at this property and would recommend to any group.

wonderful memories

the home was perfect for us, we had 2 young children and they were very comfortable and safe. Karin gave us referrals on babysitters and she was great with them. the rooms were roomy, location was close to Bellagio town. We had a superb time. Thank you!

Paradise at Villa Polleti

The villa was beyond perfect for our family of 3 adult couples and a 14 month old. We felt right at home from the get go and had every convenience we needed. The kitchen was nicely stocked with modern appliances, wifi and tv worked great no problems , the beautiful views from every room we didn't want to leave the villa. Karin the owner was super helpful with recommendations for restaurants, tours and anything else we asked she had good answers!

Beautiful Views

The property is amazing with incredible views of the water. We highly suggest everyone read the notes carefully from the owner. The location is a fairly long walk and busses are rare but if you have a rental car you will not have any issues.

Beautiful House with Great Views

We took a family vacation with 10 people (all adults) and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The house is beautiful, and the property manager was incredibly helpful. We did not have a car, so we did a fair bit of walking to get to places, but we had mo trouble with that, and the sites along the walks are great. If we are fortuate enough to go back some day, I would definitely stay there again.

Magnificent views

The owner and property manager were wonderful to work with. They answered all questions and provided a ton of information about the area. Bellagio is very hilly, and the roads are very narrow so be aware of that if you are planning to stay. Otherwise, you could not find a more beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable and everyone loved the views. Just stunning. San Giovanni the village on the outskirts of Bellagio was just charming and Nene and Mella restaurants were favorites.

Beautiful Historic Villa with Incredible Views

Wonderful stay. Emi, property manager, was so easy to work with and very helpful. The views are spectacular. Its a 25 min walk into Bellagio, but there are sidewalks the entire way after the first 200-300 meters out of the villa. You can also take the ferries from San Giovini which is 5 mins down the hill from the house. Perfect with a rental car or great for a group who doesn't mind a short walk up and down the hill. A+

Traveling Gators

The villa was delightful. It had a beautiful view and had everything we needed. We had a short walk to the pier to catch the boat to multiple locations. You had to drive to Bellagio but it was a short drive. We had a private chef cook for us one night and cooked for ourselves one night. Otherwise we went to several nice restaurants in the area.

Elegant and peaceful with soothing evening views!

We had a wonderful and restful stay and enjoyed our almost daily walks for lunch to either S.Giovanni or downtown. The evening views from this villa are magical, with different hues of blue emanating from the lake, the mountains, and the sky, with Villa Carlotta and the Grand Hotel elegantly lit facades right across the lake. This made dinners on the peaceful garden terrace our most cherished moments. The bus stop outside the villa's gate came in handy for shopping sprees in Como!

Rental Heaven!

I foolishly worried about this rental because I thought it might be too good to be true! I can honestly say that the pictures online donā€™t even do justice to the view. The house was wonderful and the owner, house manager, and housekeeper were amazing! The only down side is that you may not want to leave the house to explore the town!

Renewed our vows

We had planned renewing our vows after 20 years of marriage while we were in Italy. After arriving and seeing the beauty of the property, we altered our plans and renewed them on the back terrace overlooking the lake. Karin was super responsive and Rudi more than went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed!!

The villa is very elegant. It has the beauty of being an historical villa with all the modern comforts. It is well furnished with beautiful antiques, has high ceilings and beautiful large and spacious rooms. The location is stunning. Outside of the busy center of Bellagio but close to the peaceful small village of S.Giovanni (3 minutes by walking distance) where there is the Villa's boat dock, restaurant, small boutique grocer, coffee shop and wine bar and just 3 minutes to downtown Bellagio by car.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

The beautiful porch over viewing the lake is magical. As soon as you arrive you find peace, nature and historical beauties. The Villa has a private dock just three minutes walking distance so that you can enjoy renting your boat and are able to dock it just a few steps from the Villa. Near the villa depart scenic trails with lovely walks that can take you to the summit of Mount St. First in order to fully appreciate the spectacle of the three branches of Lake Como and the newly discovered caves.
