Serenity View — pet-friendly
Explorers, vacationers, and couples seeking privacy and comfort will love this delightful desert retreat on a paved road, in a quiet neighborhood, less than five miles from the West entrance to Joshua Tree National Park!
Boasting a calming blend of soothing colors, custom indoor and outdoor furniture, and original artwork, this home offers an Oriental-inspired Mojave-modern remodel of a vintage 1954 concrete block and timber ranch house. Traditional communal open interior with high beamed ceilings, multi-purpose great room with breakfast bar, wood stove, TV, and a separate 450 sqft loft-style family sleeping area with plenty of floor space to spread out climbing gear, yoga mats, and pets.
A one-of-a-kind black rock wet room with rainfall shower has the private essentials, while the outdoor Japan-inspired deep soaking tub is a place to cool off in summer, or bask under the winter stars in heated bliss after a breathtaking day in the National Park.
Quiet and private, this lovely natural location is only 5 blocks from the village center, where you’ll find the Park Visitors Center, markets, art galleries, eclectic shops, and food and drink options all within walking distance. The iconic Joshua Tree Saloon provides a lively atmosphere for dining and socializing, while the renowned Pioneer Town—home to the famous Pappy & Harriet’s Saloon—is conveniently situated just north of Yucca Valley. Horse lovers will appreciate the proximity to the Cascade Trails Mustang Sanctuary, providing an opportunity to book a ride with these majestic animals.
Back home, the elegant and well-equipped kitchenette includes an exhibition gas cooktop at the breakfast bar, microwave, air fryer oven, coffee grinder, full-size French door refrigerator, and a wide array of utensils and countertop appliances to help you craft everything from a morning cuppa to elaborate dinners. The great room has a low dining set ideal for adventurers of all ages. You’ll also find a gas grill outside to sear your home-cooked menu into elevated fare. Outdoor dining options include an ironwood picnic table under a mature pine, and furnished decks front and back with expansive views of the valley and mountains.
Southern deck loungers and seating invite sunset views—then, back inside after sunset, light a fire in the wood stove, stream your favorite channels via WiFi, then step out for stargazing with the astronomical telescope—an unforgettable closer to your legendary days in Joshua Tree. Water-wise and energy-efficient, gated, with a circular driveway and plenty of parking for adventure vehicles, a Level 2 EV charger, and a private washer/dryer, this intimate vacation rental is a well-equipped basecamp for family adventures and a self-sufficient private haven for relaxation, meditation, and romance.
