Large 2-bed townhouse with shared pool

Enjoy Barbados from this large 2 bed 2.5 bath tropical home away from home. Set in a quiet residential townhouse development, and a quick 10 minute drive from the South Coast beaches, restaurants, groceries, gas stations, and shopping - you will be close to all amenities while still being away from the hustle along the busy coast. Relax at the large communal pool on one of the many sun loungers, or catch up with your reading in the privacy of the covered terrace looking out into the gardens.

The entry way opens up to a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen space. The comfortable sitting area has a couch and armchair set in front of the cable TV, and the dining table has seating for four. A recently outfitted kitchen is fully equipped with all you'll need while on holiday, including a dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker and kettle.Two french doors lead out to the terrace with additional seating looking out to the tropical garden space.

Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, closets, en suite bathroom with a double vanity and shower, and is cooled by A/C and a ceiling fan. There is also a private balcony overlooking the garden. The second bedroom has a queen bed, closets, A/C and ceiling fan and uses the adjacent bathroom which has a combo tub/shower.

The laundry room with a washer and dryer is located downstairs next to the powder room. Should you choose to rent a car, you can make use of the two parking spaces allocated to Gunsite #28. Please note quiet hours between the hours of 9pm and 8am.

Good to know: While the bedrooms have air-conditioning, the living area does not (it has a ceiling fan)

Excellent property, large than expected everything provided that was needed. Location was tucked away in quiet estate very secure and private.

The house was as described, beautiful pool area and spacious home that was very clean on arrival. Only a couple complaints really. There is no BBQ, which I should've asked beforehand. Would've been nice to be able to use one to cook, but the kitchen provided all items needed in order to cook dinner each night anyways. And lastly, we had such a hard time locating the property. Taxis/buses were always confused when we gave them the address, even when showing on the map. Perhaps this issue could have been avoided if we had rented our own car. Also, only AC upstairs in bedrooms so the main floor stayed pretty warm. Defintely keep drapes closed to keep the heat out. Over all we were happy with our stay at Gunsite. Don't let the surrounding area make you nervous as the actual gated community is beautiful and we never felt unsafe.

Had a fabulous stay at this property. Everything was as shown in the photos and as advertised. Felt very comfortable, it felt like home from home. Lovely and spacious home, really clean. The communal pool was great. We enjoyed it so much we are returning next year.

This house was the perfect stay for us! It was a great location to everything around, and included a pool for convenience if we didn't feel like travelling to the beach. Fully equipped with lots of cooking tools and full kitchen. Lots of room upstairs and a/c units in each bedroom. Great living space with lots of tv channel options for rainy days. Would definitely stay when we return to Barbados and would recommend to friends and family.

The Gunsite is very homey, the BSL Rental Company is very hopsitable, welcoming, professional in helping you out with any needs you would have during your stay, the place was clean and well attended, we would recommend to rent a car due to its location but also because it's much easier to move around the island.

My family and I had an amazing stay at Gunsite 28. The town house caters for your every need! The lower level is outfitted with a full kitchen inclusive of a dishwasher, the laundry room has an automatic machine and dryer, fire extinguisher,half bath, family room, dining area and an outdoor sitting area. The upper level has three bedrooms all outfitted with AC units, ample storage space and loads of towels. Our expectations were certainly exceeded! I'll recommend this location to anyone in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at GUNSITE #28 with our kids. The check in instructions are detailed and easy. The house is very spacious and well equipped. It is located in a very quiet environment. We felt very safe (cameras in the compound, secured automatic gate). The swimming pool is nice and spacious too. I would suggest a welcome pack (at least one washing machine and dishwasher tablet, a couple of tea bags, and some instant coffee for example). We had it in previous Airbnb rentals and it makes it perfect!

Needs Improvement

No Welcome instructions, didn't have contact telephone number, didn't know where to take rubbish, curtain rail needed fixing (came down at slightest touch, no instructions on how to exit site through pedestrian exit ( no key) could only exit in car, had cockroaches most days - after unit was fumigated most days they were dead but still a few live ones on floor & worktop. Was advised that all instructions were in initial email, - I double checked and they are not. I even had to request the street address by email as all we had was "Gunsite 28" but never received answer. Have been to Barbados many times (Sapphire Beach) so found the locations ourselves. Only contact with Property Manager when we reported no electric & even then had to search the web for the telephone number, definitely needs Improvement.

Hi Geoffrey, Sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t up to the standard our guests enjoy. While we don’t like to take away from a guests experience – we do think it important to clarify a few things that are misleading. All guests are sent check-in instructions three days that include googlemap location pins before their arrival and our concierge team calls on arrival to ensure that everything is going well. The property manager also visited you and brought a second welcome letter and explained that there is no code to exit the complex as a pedestrian, just a button. The PM also did not see any roaches inside during her visit – the unit has scheduled routine pest control visits, but still sent pest control and she also fixed the curtain rod for you. At the same visit she also gave you her cell number to reach her as well, along with the contact numbers in the check-in email and welcome letter. Hopefully you still enjoyed our island and had a lovely holiday.

This was the perfect place for my mom and I to stay while visiting Barbados. It's a quick 8 min drive to Browne's beach which has plenty of parking and lots of chairs and umbrellas to rent. The property also has a nice pool which was very empty, we had it pretty much all to ourselves the entire week. The entrance is gated which made us feel very safe, and the community is very quiet and peaceful. There's also lots of great local spots to eat at! The kitchen was very spacious and had everything we needed. The rooms were nice and comfortable with AC. They also had a cleaner come by in the middle of our stay to wash linens and towels and she was amazing! So friendly and kind. Overall, it was a great place for our vacation, would totally stay there again!

Finding accommodation on a website can be tricky - having to hope the description matches the reality. We were delighted to find Gunsite Townhouses was the right choice. In terms of location, everything we needed with very easy driving distance. Clear and comprehensive directions and instructions got us from the airport to unpacking our luggage in less than half an hour. The house was superb - exactly as described. A well equipped kitchen matters as we self-cater, and this kitchen had all we needed. Well furnished, again with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also found the hosts to be terrific. Chanice replied immediately when we needed to be in touch. There were one or two very minor hiccups which were addressed so quickly that we weren't really inconvenienced at all. Customer service was faultless, and delivered with a friendly professional and sympathetic manner. I'm really happy to be able to recommend both the location and the company. Thanks Chanice!

Gunsite 28

This Townhouse is a gem, beautiful views, well kept grounds, very comfortable. We had rented the place for a month. The pool was awesome, there are a couple of loungers that could use an update. The Townhouse does need some TLC, especially the kitchen utensils and appliances, as we prepared all our meals. A vehicle or a driver is an asset, we had the most wonderful, caring, considerate helpful driver Ronald. He was wonderful as was Justin.
