House is wonderful and, as advertised, a 3 to 4 minute walk to the beach. House was clean and comfortable. Definitely would rent again and recommend to others.

Amazing house! Beach is close. Galveston is a short drive. Everything we needed was pretty much supplied. I had my wife, my 4 children with their spouses and 4 grandchildren and there was plenty enough room. We’ve enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! Only recommendation would be to get a new charcoal pit or grill. This one is wore out on the bottom. Provide more towels. Other than that it was a great value and beautiful place! Thanks for the enjoyable stay and hospitality!

The location was great! House was perfect for hosting a big family. Everyone had a room. The house did not come with everything you needed. The refrigerator didn’t work. Since we have a big family, we packed food and meat to cook meals. They must of known the fridge didn’t work because there was a mini fridge and freezer sitting in the kitchen. There was no dish soap to wash dishes. We ran out of toilet paper day 2. Not enough wash clothes for showering. The main door had issues and wouldn’t close every time you had to maneuver the handle to close. My daughter said the downstairs game room bathroom the handle kept falling off. Ants were everywhere. The WiFi kept going in and out which made it hard to watch Tv in the evening. (Kids) Walmart delivery is available there which was nice we had them deliver the main necessities. The couch in the photos is not the couch in the house. I’m sure items have to be replaced but it was a lot smaller for the amount of people being hosted. Overall, spending the time with family was priceless. Everyone had a great time.

Overall the VRBO was good and held our group nicely. We had some issues that hindered our stay. The dishwasher did not work properly and the maintenance man came and did a couple of items and started. However, it didn't last long since the spraying arm came off again and melted on the heating element. The dishwasher was replace on the third day. In order to wash dishes there was not a sink stopper for either sink but we were able to make shift one to do dishes. The stove did not work properly and we had planned meals knowing that we had a stove. We asked for a counter top oven and never received one. The stove was repaired on the last night we were there, feel we should had been compensated.Communication with the host was great when we had issues. The beds were not the best. Some of them would fold in the middle and others you could feel coils. The sheets were horrible. The fitted sheet would come undone and it happen to all the beds, of course we made it work. It stated that each guest would have one wash cloth, hand towel and a bath towel which was not the case. We needed hand towels. The bathroom in the basement, the sink would not drain and no toilet paper holder, no hooks or towel rack. Not a big deal but it was hard getting towels to dry. One bed had dirty sheets and if they were clean then they were stained with makeup. The power went out and we tried to open a bedroom window and it wouldn't open. We had a good time and overall it was good.
