Beautifully designed custom home with gorgeous views in Surfside Beach with easy access ramp. 5 bedrooms and 3 baths with 2 masters, (one up and one down) sleeps 15. Walkover the the beach just steps away. Walk to restaurants, watch the sunset, and make memories.

Downstairs- Beautiful open floor plan, living area with sleeper sofa and 65" TV.

Master bedroom with queen bed and bath with walk-in cobblestone floor shower.

Second bedroom with queen bed and its own balcony.

Hallway has a shared bath and a cozy nook with a twin bed and a closet with washer and dryer.

Third bedroom has 2 twin beds and a closet hideaway the kids will love.

Upstairs- The second master has a queen bed and an en suite bath, a coffee bar, and private balcony.

fifth bedroom a bunk room with an entertainment area for the kids and two full size bunk beds.

All bedrooms have a TV and basic linens are provided. Please bring your own towels for the beach.

Great beach access and space for a large group. It’s comfortable and spacious, but in need of some TLC. The deck needs repair, I wouldn’t recommend it for small children.

Love this place!

This is the second time our family has stayed here in the last few years. We love the area and love the property. The owners are quick to communicate and always helpful. We will definitely always consider this property when in the area.

Great house for large or multiple families. Location was perfect with easy access to the beach. We loved the unobstructed view of the beach from the balcony.

Family vacation

Many rooms, lots of space for big family, very nice and all beds very comfortable! Beautiful views and walkover not far from the beach house. We would stay here again.

Pineapple house

This home has so much potential, the location is wonderful and we loved the view from the deck!! But I’m sorry to say, the house was filthy and really affected our trip. Dust, hairballs (and juts lots of hair that was not ours) dirty floors, corroded shower heads,. My kids tried to turn on the TV in their room and the remote was so sticky with hair on it and the tv didn’t even work once we cleaned it off a bit. Everything we tried to use in the kitchen was dirty. The bath towels were all very old, torn, and stained. Overall, this rental did not feel cared for nor did it feel like they valued their customers.

Family Wedding Trip

We had a family wedding in Angleton and decided to spend a couple of days at the beach before the wedding. We chose the Pineapple House because it had a ramp to the door. My mother-in-law is 94 and almost wheelchair bound so we wanted a house that she could get to. She loved sitting on the deck watching us at the beach. She said she wished we had stayed the whole week. The view was great and walking distance to the beach. We had a great time.

Pineapple Surfside

The property needs some upkeep, clean, but less than experienced at other properties we have stayed at. No dish cloths in kitchen, barely a hand towel, bathrooms the same. Barely any trash bags. Dishwasher is functional, just in poor condition. Just little things that would help a traveler and their experience. Shower heads are corroded. Beds were comfortable, ac worked great. Travelers be aware that the city water is not drinkable, this is not the property owners fault. It did cause an odor in the house.The view is to die for!!

Amazing house!

We loved our stay at the pineapple house. The location can not be beat! The views from the front deck overlooking the ocean were perfect. This house comes with everything you need to enjoy a weekend away. We were so very happy! I gave 4 stars for accuracy of description instead of 5 starts because bedroom #2 does not have 2 queen beds, it only had 1. Minor inconvenience but did not take away from the great experience.

Not a kid friendly beach.

The house was all it was advertised to be. The problem was with the beach. The parents of my six grandkids and great grandkids went home early because of unsafe conditions on the beach. The surf was high and the beach was quite narrow. There were a lot of cars driving on the beach which made very unsafe conditions. We will not consider this location for a family trip again.

Glad to hear the house met expectations, unfortunately the very high tide and busy holiday traffic made for hectic conditions all the way down the gulf coast. That situation is unusual, normally our beach is very pleasant and a great place for kids. Our home is also protected by a large dune. Guests can sit on the deck and enjoy the waves and view or play in the yard without having to worry about children wondering out onto the beach.

Family favorite starting to age

We have stayed here several times over the past few years and have always had a great experience. This visit we noticed some of the finishes in the home are beginning to age and the unit was not as clean as it had been at previous visits. Floors were a bit dirty and there was sand accumulated in most corners and baseboards. The water from the tap also had a strong sulfur smell that we had not experienced on prior vacations. Its quite possible the cleaning crew just isn’t what they used to be but for the same pricing, we were expecting the same experience.

Overall Great House and Location

We loved the house and the listing is very accurate. I will say they only thing I would suggest is cookware needs a major overhaul! Very limited supplies. No measuring cups to be found. I will bring my own next time. We had a large group and we cooked every meal so it was a little frustrating not to have the tools needed. The upstairs master has no access to the closet therefore your living out of a suit case. Not ideal to say the least. Other than that the house is beautiful and great location! We would definitely stay again.

Needs some updating and listing was not correct

The house was nice, but the floors were very dirty and looked like they had not been mopped. We brought an electric pellet grill to use downstairs, but none of the plugs under the house worked. In the living room/kitchen area there are a lot of light switches and they are not labeled. I would suggest labeling what light switches so the user can find what they need easy. The listing we went off of was not correct. It listed one of the rooms as having 2 queen beds in it and it did not. We had a married couple that had to sleep apart the whole vacation. I contacted the listing person and they did correct it. In the kitchen, there were not basic utensils. Please bring your own can opener and knives, they were very dull. If you have a smaller group, this is a good house. We will have to get a bigger house next year.

Memorial Day Memories

This property is great! With 5 bedrooms and one designated for kids with bunks, it was the perfect space to fit our family. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding. The location also is amazing!! While not right on the beach, it’s so close to the walkway to the beach, you can feel comfortable sending your older kids without you. Even better, there is no house blocking your view of the ocean, making you still feel that you are beachfront. The deck space is where you want to spend all of your time. The majority of it is covered, so we spent most of our time there when we weren’t at the beach. Dining, reading, and playing games on the deck with the view can’t be beat. The space under the house, and the yard was perfect for our kids to play the games we brought. Now for the beach, just be aware that cars can drive on the beach. I have never experienced this before. It’s a little annoying. It’s extremely annoying if you are there during a busy time, like Memorial Weekend. But, just get there early and set up your space or shade structure and you will have your spot secure. We easily found space right off the walkway, in front of the house. You can feel comfortable to leave your chairs out when you go in for lunch or just a break from the sun. The kitchen has just about everything you need for cooking great meals. We had a couple of minor issues(a broken coffee maker and towel rack) that Jenny attended to very promptly and professionally. We would most definitely rent the Pineapple House again! Lastly, be sure to check out Capt. Mark’s Seafood market. We had the most amazing red snapper and shrimp! We even bought more to take home before we left.
