Located just one mile from Santa Barbara's best beaches, this classic, Ranch-style home is an idyllic beach getaway for any family or group of friends looking to experience Santa Barbara in absolute style and luxury! You are either a few minutes' drive or walking distance to the lower village of prestigious Montecito where you will find some of the best restaurants and shopping that Santa Barbara has to offer. You are one mile from the exclusive and brand-new ocean-front Rosewood Miramar Beach Resort. Downtown Santa Barbara is just a few miles away. Ride your bikes to breakfast or lounge in the pool while you enjoy the beautiful views that surround you.

The bright and cheerful home includes 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus a cabana. Every bedroom has a tv and new Lull luxury mattresses. The master bedroom has a California king-size bed, a beautiful bathroom with double sinks, a walk-in shower, and marble throughout. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed in the loft. The third and fourth bedroom have queen size beds. The home also boasts a large dining room with seating for 10, hardwood floors, French doors, skylights, and a living room with cathedral beam ceilings and a gas fireplace. The kitchen has custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances throughout and is stocked with everything you would need for a gourmet meal. The home is bright and cheerful and perfect for families.

This home is perfect for enjoying the beautiful outdoor weather that Santa Barbara has to offer. The property sits on nearly 1 acre of land and has a park-like setting. The backyard has plenty of outdoor dining areas with landscape lighting to allow for evening dinners under the stars. Guests are sure to enjoy the large swimming pool and hot tub and gorgeous mountain views that this property offers. After a long day at Butterfly Beach, you can relax in the hot tub and barbecue your favorite meal. Don't worry about the kids. There is plenty for them to do between swimming, jumping on the trampoline, playing basketball, and soccer games in the yard.

Lovely time in Montecito!

Lovely home in the perfect location! We biked to the shops, beach, restaurants and took long walks on the nearby beach. Lauren was super responsive and a great host!

What a restorative stay! Every detail was perfect. The kids loved their pool time and playing basketball. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed in order to cook for a crowd. Such great hosts, eternal thanks!

Fantastic stay in paradise!

We LOVED staying here for the second time and can’t wait to come back again. We had a wonderful family vacation in this beautiful home. The homeowners were professional, welcoming, and so easy to communicate with. Our kids loved the ping pong, trampoline and volleyball court. My parents loved the privacy of the cabana- so they could sleep in and enjoy a quiet coffee. Highly recommend!

This house is amazing!

We loved this home! It is in a great location, the house is beautiful and the yard is the best part - our kids rarely came inside (even though it rained for two day!). They loved it. Such a great week and the owners were absolutely wonderful. So nice and always available if we needed anything. Looking forward to our next trip!

Unforgettable vacation time with our kids in Santa Barbara

We have spent 10 amazing days in Montecito with our 4 kids : the house is beautiful and very comfortable, with a lovely garden and eucalyptus trees. We all enjoyed the large pool (protected by a fence for the kids) and spa. Our children were happy to play with lots of indoor and outdoor games. It was really great to be so close to both Montecito's beaches and Downtown Santa Barbara. We really appreciated the warm welcome from the owners.

Fantastic family home in Montecito

We had the best week at this beautiful home in Montecito. Property manager had excellent communication throughout the process and a smooth check in/ check out process. The home was even better than how it looks in the photos- gorgeous and comfortable! The property manager went the extra mile to make us feel welcome with a thoughtful basket of goodies and detailed notes about the home. Our kids had so much fun playing with the ping pong table, in the yard, on the trampoline and in the pool. An easy, relaxing family vacation- thank you so much for hosting us!

Wonderful stay!

Perfect house for a family vacation. The yard is amazing and the house is very nice with lovely decor, clean and comfortable. Has everything you might need. The kids' rooms are supercute and there are so many toys and books for kids to enjoy. Lovely neighborhood, close to the beach (we went running and walking to the beach and back several times, otherwise it's a 3-min drive), close to both Montecito commercial centers (the grandparents went walking to Coast Village Drive every day for exercise). The owners were very attentive and responsive to any questions and made sure our stay was easy and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this home.

Fantastic Home For Our Family

We had a lovely stay in this home over Thanksgiving break. The location is perfect - within moderate walking distance or a short drive of the new Rosewood hotel and the upper and lower villages of Montecito. The property is beautiful and ready for swimming, outdoor dining, basketball and relaxing. Our kids loved the trampoline. The home is set up for California-style entertaining. Lauren and Patrick were beyond accommodating, addressing both vacation needs and special medical/technology needs of our family. It is a great home for a retreat with or without kids.

4 great summer weeks

We are big fans of Montecito, having rented there several times. The Hedgerow house is great for families - big yard with a pool, hot tub, and fire pit - but also in a nice area. The owners were very friendly and helpful - available whenever we had questions. They set up their ping pong table, trampoline, and volleyball net when we said we had pre-teens and teenagers. The owners were also accommodative when we said we would have guests with a dog, The location was key - we walked to the beach (1 mile) or the Upper Village (~1 mile) every day. I would definitely recommend this home and rent it again.

Perfect Montecito spot!

Our family loved our time in this beautiful home. The owners have truly thought of everything--from beach towels to every possible thing in the kitchen. Lauren was so easy to communicate with, and so helpful. They even had a wonderful gift basket of treats and wine when we arrived. The house was immaculately clean and had such a lovely, serene aesthetic. The property offered something for everyone, from hot tub to trampoline to basketball hoop to outdoor dining area complete with twinkling lights. The location is ideal with easy access to the beach or trails or Upper Village shops. We loved our time here and hope to return!

Fantastic holiday week

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful and well-located home. We visited during the winter holiday for a week with our 5 children, daughter-in-law, and 2 grandchildren. The house was spacious, clean, and full of entertaining toys for the children. The accommodations were perfect with a separate sleeping area in the house with ample bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. The pool, hot tub, trampoline, and chickens were great entertainment for both adults and children. We loved the fresh eggs every day. Paying to have the pool heated was the best investment since our children spent as much time as possible every day in the water. The neighborhood is gorgeous with a short walk to the beach and close proximity to wonderful hiking trails. Lauren was very hospitable and helpful. Would definitely recommend this house and hope to return.

Family vacation

Lauren and Patrick, thank you for making your home available to us for rental for our family vacation that has been 2 years over due! The location of your home is absolutely perfect, a short walk to Miramar Beach, Lower Village and to Upper Village. Enjoying the 4th of July celebration in upper village with local residents was a great day to celebrate as well as watching the fireworks at Butterfly Beach. We enjoyed playing ping pong, basketball and volleyball at your home, the bikes were a definite plus as was the standup paddle board. Thank you for making it all available to us, greatly appreciated. The bedrooms were all spacious, everything in great working condition. My eldest son enjoyed his privacy in the cabana. Your home was turn key, bright, clean and we appreciate all the beach towels made available to us. We look forward to vacationing in your home in the future, thank you again Lauren and Patrick, your home is a 10+, we have no complaints other than to come back, even Paco/Bryan your neighbor was very friendly and gracious.

Great, especially if children are coming. Activities include pool, jacuzzi, basketball hoop, bikes, trampoline,volleyball net and all the equipment for each activity. House is clean, user-friendly and very nicely decorated. Better than any 5 star hotel. Easy access to great markets and restaurants.

We are a family of five who love to travel! We love the ocean and the mountains and feel so lucky to live in paradise. When we aren't in our Montecito home, we are off adventuring somewhere else. We take pride in our home and our goal is to make sure you have a wonderful stay. This is our primary residence and we choose to share it with our guests while we travel. We are also open to a house swap!

This really is the perfect property for families. Once you are here, you will never really have to leave. Adults will love the beautiful mountain views and relaxing amenities. Outdoor dinners and late night fire pit conversations will become a daily ritual. After hiking the local mountains or surfing the nearby beaches, a hot tub soak will be calling your name. The children will be in heaven as they go from the pool to the trampoline to running around in all the outdoor space. The beautiful yard has plenty of room for a family soccer game. We are one mile to the beach and less than 5 miles away from downtown Santa Barbara. The fun never ends here! Why pay more per night for one room at the Miramar hotel when you can have this entire house for less!
