Beautiful remodeled home in private New England beachside community: Bonnet Shores. The home is very well appointed and has a beautiful open living/kitchen floor plan with skylights and a large deck amidst a beautiful canopy of trees... perfect for lounging or dining. Walk to the beach or through Audubon protected trails to the URI Marine campus. Little beach is steps away, shuttle to Kelly beach or bike like the locals. High Speed Internet Access.
The home has two different living rooms. One living area is on the 2nd level . It is an open floor plan with the kitchen which opens to the living area and opens to a large out door deck amidst a lovely canopy of trees. The other living area is on the lower level of the home and we have made this our entertainment area with TV. Large seating area and floor cushions for movie watching.
The home has 3 floors- each floor has 2 beds and 1 bath so it is a perfect house for sharing with another family as there is privacy on each floor.

My friends and I stayed here for Labor Day weekend and had a great time! Walking distance to the beach and a short drive to gas stations, grocery store, liquor store, coffee shops, etc. The host was super responsive and quick to reply. Would definitely stay here again!

Location was great and the amount of space for 10 people. Do NOT do the linens just bring your own it seems like a scam as well as the maid service. We paid for the linen service and there were dead spiders and the house wasn’t very clean we had to vacuum for spiders and bugs. The host was very nice and accommodating, but some instructions were not clear. I wish we went somewhere else.

Lovely home in coastal neighborhood!

My family and I all had a great time at this beautiful and cozy home. We all had comfortable sleeping spaces and the dining table and living room fit all of us. We also enjoyed hanging out on the deck. We went for walks in the neighborhood and biked down to the adorable Kelly Beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Bonnet Shores in July 2025

This property is starting to show its age, although it does live up to the advertisement. Six bedrooms, three baths worked well for our group of six adults and two beach-happy four year olds.We were there during a hot week - so the air conditioning was challenged. The window units tended to be noisy and the console a/c in the living room was underpowered.The kitchen was well supplied.We did not make use of the large available grill.

Great location!

Beautiful family beach at Kelly beach, perfect for young kids. Great location, half a mile jog to the ocean and a mile walk to the beach. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Couch area in the basement to watch TV was more futon-outdoor style, not lounge-comfortable for our crew, but of all the complaints that was really it because the bathrooms were clean and the house was comfortable for our crew. Beautiful community!

Amazing location and fits many families!

My husband and 2 other couples stayed at this amazing house for 3 days. We each had our own floor and bathroom which was amazing! The houses location is about 10 mins to the main beach and we didn’t mind the drive. We arrived early to town and messaged the owners to see if the house was available and shortly after I received a phone call from Sergio saying it was ready to check in early at 12:00! The house is exactly as stated, clean and close to everything. Definitely would stay there again! Thank you Jennifer and Sergio!

Great stay for a group!

We came with a group of friends for the weekend and had an awesome time! The house is clean, the a/cs work very well even in humid weather, and the kitchen is well stocked with the dishes and utensils you would expect and want to have. Sergio was very communicative leading up to our stay to make sure we had everything we need, which was greatly appreciated. The layout of the house is great for a group, with two bedrooms on each floor and two different living rooms, and the house is also in close proximity to many great places to eat and explore. We rented linens (sheets, blankets, towels) through Sergio’s housekeeper for a $200 fee and everything was set up for us when we arrived. Thanks for a memorable weekend!

Good for families

We stayed in Bonnet Shores for 3 days. It was a great space for our 2 families. We had 4 adults and 7 kids. Some of the information in the description was not accurate. There are no beach passes or proof of rental provided (although we did not need them on a Tuesday). Also, there are no bikes or beach chairs available with the rental so be sure to pack them. We used a local linen service since those are not included and it’s a bit of a hassle to pack all the bedding for 3 full and 3 queen beds. We had a great time and the place was a good size but I am a VRBO user and have found better houses for this price.

Our apologies for the proof of rental not being where it was supposed to be. The previous renters must have taken it and not put it back, an issue that was apparently missed by the cleaners. A phone call to us would have resolved that rather quickly. Please know that due to liability concerns we no longer offer bikes with the rental and therefore do not advertise the house as having them. Regardless of those issues, I’m happy that you had a pleasant stay a Summer’s Perch.

Lovely Home!

My family enjoyed a lovely stay at Sergio and Jennifer's home in Narragansett. With ten guests, everyone had their own room and the layout is great for a good amount of privacy. We paid extra for linens, which was helpful and not too much of an expense split amongst 10 people. The living room space works best for less than 10 people I would say. It was a bit cramped. Also we had some issues with the gas grill, which could be a safety issue, but there were enough men around to get it working :) The young folks stayed in the basement and while a nice getaway from the older family members, the bathroom was not totally ideal. It made a very loud noise whenever an appliance (toilet, shower, sink) was in use. We also had to purchase some air fresheners because there was an unpleasant smell in the main basement area and bathroom. All in all a great trip with the family!

I wanted you to know that the lower level bathroom uses a pump to direct the waste up and out of the house. That is the noise you heard which is completely normal and not a concern. Large home, good location, but needs updating

Our experience at this property was mixed. There were some aspects of our stay that were positive, but there was sort of a negative cloud over the entire rental due to a few issues. The first and perhaps most unexpected piece of information was that the house did not come equipped with sheets or towels. We were only informed about this the day before our arrival. The owner offered to provide them for an additional $200 fee. Since we had already arrived in town there was really no other feasible option. Our family has stayed in dozens of rental homes across the US and no one had EVER experienced this before! While linens were not listed as an amenity, neither were light bulbs and we assumed basic necessities would be present. In addition, only 2 half rolls of toilet paper and 1 half roll of paper towels were provided for our 12 family members for a 6 day rental. Lastly, the house is fitted with window air conditioning units which unfortunately were not able to cope with the summer heat and humidity. Overall, while the property has potential, it needs updating and we believe the listing needs to be more transparent about what is provided and what is not. While we appreciated the opportunity to have stayed at this property, we feel there is room for improvement to ensure a more comfortable and hassle-free experience for future guests. We hope this feedback is received in the spirit it is given - to enhance the rental experience at this property for future guests.

Lovely stay!

House exceeded expectations and outdoor space was very nice to enjoy. Check with the host about supplying your own linens before check in! We were able to work something out but we were not aware this listing did not come with linens.

Great location

My family and I stayed here for 3 days. Perfect for families because each floor has 2 bedrooms and a bath. The kitchen and living room are fairly small but there is a separate hangout area on the lower level. My only complaints are the bed in our room was very uncomfortable (2nd floor) and the AC units can be a little loud. Great location and neighborhood. Would stay here again!!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our short morning walks to the water. Our favorite part of the house was the large dining table where all 8 of us sat comfortably and ate dinner together every night. My only complaint about the house was how sticky, damp and musky it was due to the humidity. Everyone in the area is super friendly.

So sorry to hear that the house felt “sticky” for you. Being so close to the water and directly across from lush Audubon protected land, the area is humid to begin with and all the rain we’ve been having has not helped. With AII windows closed and the AC’s and dehumidifier on that situation is greatly reduced. Thanks again for your stay and for returning the house to us in such great shape!!

Perfect Summer Getaway!

Great location, within a short drive to multiple attractions (beaches, shopping, dining) in Rhode Island. Easily communicated with the owner when needed. Would def visit Summer’s Perch again!
