Welcome to Billehuset, a thoughtfully designed two-story retreat where cozy comfort meets airy elegance. Perfect for an escape or a family adventure, this unique 1-bedroom, 2-bath townhome comfortably welcomes couples or families with up to four children. Though officially a one-bedroom, its clever layout lives beautifully like a two-bedroom, giving everyone room to relax and reconnect.

AMENITIES: At North, resort-style amenities include three lavish pools, two scenic lakes with a fishing dock, cozy fire pits, a fully equipped fitness center, private dune crossovers, lawn games, and a pirate ship playscape. Enjoy our on-site dining options, including a Mediterranean bistro, new American cuisine with gulf inspired entrees, a pizzeria, and a coffee shop and café. The vibrant Town Center brings the community together with events, activities, and live music throughout peak season and on holiday weekends. Guests can also utilize facilities at nearby Cinnamon Shore South, featuring a cabana-lined infinity pool, boardwalks, and family-friendly pool and splash pad.

LIVING SPACE: The first floor is where the heart of the home comes alive. The beautifully appointed kitchen, featuring artisan granite countertops and sleek stainless steel appliances, invites slow breakfasts, family dinners, and shared moments around the table. Little ones will delight in the whimsical "under-the-stairs" bunk beds—a cozy hideaway all their own—while the comfortable pull-out sleeper sofa offers even more flexible sleeping space. With its own full bathroom, shower, closet, and spacious chest of drawers, the lower level becomes a welcoming retreat for kids or additional guests.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Upstairs, cathedral ceilings and dramatic double-height bay windows fill the home with golden morning light, creating a space that feels both grand and peaceful. A luxurious king bed, deep soaking tub, generous closet space, and serene atmosphere make the entire upper level feel like a private sanctuary designed for rest and relaxation. Step onto the private veranda to greet the sunrise as it washes over the charming Social Circle, or linger inside with a cup of coffee at the writing desk, wrapped in the quiet calm of your surroundings.

GREAT FEATURES: Many of the paintings found on Billehuset’s walls tell part of a very special story that the owners would like share with their guests:
After the difficult years of World War II, Axel and Else Madsen, a young Danish couple living in Copenhagen, purchased a small beach cottage on the island of Falster in southern Denmark. Axel, an aspiring businessman, and Else, a talented painter, had three children, all of whom shared the same traditional middle name: Bille. The cottage soon came to be known as Billehuset, which can also translate to “Beetle House”.
In later years, Axel and Else’s grandchildren would join them at Billehuset for magical summer days on the Danish Baltic seaside, where memories of pine trees and sand and waves and seashells, along with wall after wall adorned with Else’s original paintings created cherished and lasting memories for all.
These memories are the inspiration for our own Billehuset in Port Aransas, and we hope that our guests and their families will enjoy their stay and appreciate Else’s many original paintings as well as our collection of colorful handmade pottery created by Austin potter Don Brimberry.

NO PETS ALLOWED
IF A PET IS SEEN ENTERING A NON-PET FRIENDLY HOME, GUEST WILL BE CHARGED A PENALTY AND/OR EVICTED.
Billehuset is a non-pet friendly property, and there are no exceptions. If a pet is seen entering Billehuset the homeowner and/or Cinnamon Shore Vacation Rentals has the right to immediately evict the renter with no refunds, regardless of time of day or night.

There will be an automatic non-refundable penalty fee of $1000 added to the reservation if a pet is seen entering the property. If the pet does not leave the property immediately, at the date of the violation, there will be an additional $300 daily charge applied to the renter until eviction. It is up to the contract signee to disperse the pet policy to all persons staying in the home. If a renter's "guests" violate this policy it is assumed they are aware of the policy and the fee will be assessed. The Renter may also be liable for any additional charges related to cleaning fees and/or damage in the home.
