Welcome to the "Dolphin Beach House", a 2 bedroom (sleeps 6), 1 1/2 bath beach house just steps away from the white sands of the Gulf. This 79 year-old charming beach house is in the coastal community of Indian Rocks Beach and is one of the few original remaining beach houses in the area for you to vacation at and enjoy.

The Dolphin Beach house is literally just steps away from the beach with a 5 minute walk to the award-winning white powder sand beaches of the Gulf. Walk to the beach and watch amazing sunsets, drink your morning coffee at sunrise, or just walk along the beach to your favorite restaurant. The beach has an abundance of wild life, dolphins, seagulls, pelicans, and you will often see tourists & locals fishing right from the shoreline. When you rent this beach house, you will have the privacy of the entire property. A front yard area with chairs to drink your morning coffee and just enjoying the warmth of the sun in the morning at sunrise. A fenced back yard for your enjoyment with Adirondack chairs to sit around a fire pit (a bundle of fire wood is provided for your stay). You can also relax in the backyard hammock while sipping on a beach cocktail. The beach house has a beach shed with beach equipment, for your use. Full Kitchen, 2 private bedrooms with a sleeper couch in the living room. A fully enclosed sun room with panoramic windows to sit and eat your meals and enjoy hanging out to play board games and foosball. The beach house is located on a quaint street on the barrier reef island of Indian Rocks Beach accessible by several bridges. You can access the beach by walking about 8 houses west to Gulf Blvd, cross the street at the crosswalk and you will enter the beach path which takes you directly to the white powder sand of the Gulf. Indian Rocks Beach is in close proximity to Clearwater, downtown Tampa, Busch Gardens, Saint Petersburg, Treasure Island, Madera Beach and cultural and sporting venues. The 2 closest airports are St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport which is about 15 to 20 minutes away or Tampa International Airport which is about 35 to 40 minutes away.

The Beach House features an updated kitchen, new appliances and a new LG wash tower, AC/Heat, all new mattresses and furniture. The beach house has a beach shed which has all of your beach amenities, beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards and a beach wagon to bring everything to the beach.

Kitchen and bathrooms are all updated and the living room has a new 67" TCL Google TV where you can log into your favorite apps. Ceiling fans in every room for your comfort.

The Beach house is updated with all new appliances, mattresses, linens, beach towels & beach equipment. The main bedroom has a queen mattress, the second bedroom has two twins and 2 additional people can be accommodated on the brand new pullout sleeper sofa with an upgraded memory foam mattress. Everything in this house is designed for your comfort!

One block from the beach house is the IRB Nature Preserve which also features a dog park. You can enjoy this 9.3 acre wildlife habitat preserve - featuring wildlife habitat, native vegetation, wetlands & educational boardwalk.

Also within walking distance is Nekton Surf Shop owned by Cory Lopez, a professional local legend surfer, which is stocked to the brim with unique beachy items. At the surf shop, you can rent paddle boards, beach bikes and get your favorite beach bathing suits & sandals as souvenirs.

There are beaches but few that compare to Indian Rocks Beach. IRB is 6 miles south of Clearwater Beach, but it is laid back, doesn't have all the craziness of Clearwater beach. IRB is truly a beach town, you won't find one franchise restaurant, it is all mom and pop restaurants, many offering local seafood. Crabby Bills restaurant, with its large crab & partial fishing boat jetting out of their roof, is one of the local favorites for seafood and live music and has been around for 43 years.

When you rent the Dolphin Beach House you have parking for two cars in the driveway, as IRB does not have street parking.

One small dog is allowed, when booked through the listing with a maximum weight of 20 lbs and is an additional $125 pet cleaning fee, which you agree to when booking our property with a small dog, and will be added as additional charge after booking. There is a fenced backyard for your pets enjoyment, however please do not leave your pet in the yard unattended. When renting the property with a dog, you are required to pick up all of your dogs outdoor activities, put in a designated poop bag, and put directly into the outside trash can.

Trash services are provide and the trash can is picked up by the city on Tuesday and Friday. Recycle is also available, which is picked up by the city on Wednesdays. There is a private service that takes the can to the street the evening before trash pickup. The service also puts the cans back where they are stored the next day after the service.

This house also comes with pre arranged lawn care. Please be aware that they usually come on Wednesday, however they can come and perform lawn service any day of the week.

No cats allowed.
No smoking of any kind is allowed on the property (tobacco or marijuana).

Outside Cameras: Please be aware that this property has outdoor video surveillance for your protection and the protection of the property. There is a camera in the front of the house facing the front door, walkway and driveway.

Please be aware that by renting this property you agree to sign and return the rental agreement, to the host, The Rental Agreement also has a copy of the Beach House Rules. If you do not, your reservation can be cancelled by the host prior to your arrival.
