Clean home with many amenities. There were a few things that we forgot to bring, ie. pack n play, baby gate, which were found in this home. Theyā€™ve thought of just about everything. Only one issue, with the knobs on the front of the gas stove getting bumped. We resolved by pulling the knobs off while not in use. Owner was very communicative and friendly. Another successful Sunriver New Years with the family, making memories.

Amazing stay in Sunriver. Lots of space, rooms and bathrooms. Great bonus space upstairs. Clean and welcoming. We enjoyed being right across the street from the village. Host responded very promptly every time we contacted him.

The house was comfortable and well appointed. We had a fun week. Just a fyi - "two bunks" is one bunk bed in a cozy room. With both pull out couches, there are 14 places to sleep, but that's two on each sleeper sofa bed. The description makes it sound like the bunk room has 4 places to sleep, which it doesn't. Again, we had a great week and were comfortable after purchasing an air mattress. The location was fun. An easy walk to the mall and the lodge.

This was a wonderful house for our group of 9 friends. The location could not have been better, very quiet but conveniently just across the street from grocery store and village shops/restaurants. Kitchen had everything and was very well organized, table for 10 plus additional table and stools. Bedrooms were big, beds comfortable, and almost one bathroom for each room. Lots of bicycles/helmets and a ping pong table. We did have an issue with the key code not working when we arrived, but I messaged the owner and he called me back almost immediately. I would definitely rent this house again!

The home was clean and well-equipped, and met our expectations. The home was closer to the road than expected, but it was not really a detriment to our enjoyment. We had a delightful week in SunRiver and enjoyed visiting all the nearby attractions. We would stay in this location again.

We had a wonderful time at this great house for 3 nights. Kitchen was very well equipped, so nice to have so many bedrooms and bathrooms and we loved all the seating in the living room. Ron Cochran is a very responsive and professional host.

Excellent location!

Very nice house in excellent location. It's quicker to walk across the road to the village, then to drive, it's so close. :) Love having the sharc passes! (Those are always a must.) The only complaint I would have is that we couldn't Check-in until after 5 PM. We've rented a lot of homes through the years and I don't think I've ever had one be that late to check-in. Even if it was 4 o'clock, it would have been nice to check-in a little earlier. Otherwise, a nice house! :-)

Annual family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at #5 Backwoods, Sunriver. Our family of 25 rented 3 homes about a block apart, with 8 adults and 2 children at this property. We loved the proximity to the market, Sharq, parks and playgrounds. We all gathered for evening meals at this property and appreciated how the kitchen accommodated every need. The deck was a wonderful gathering spot! Before leaving, we reserved the home again for next year - it will be our 40th annal gathering.

Family getaway

Multi generation vacation. Met up with our college kids from Oregon, family from Bend and grandparents and teens.Great layout with the 2 master suites for the older folks, no stairs needed.The sharc passeds were super handy, great aquatic facility for all ages.We biked everywhere, played tennis, the teens/older kids could walk over and get coffee ice-cream, super near the village.We were able to play golf at the sun river golf courses but very expensive.All in all a great trip but a long drive.

Great place and great location

This place was great. I loved how close it was to everything we needed - the great Hall, convenience store, restaurants. The amenities were great and the TV had a good cable package so I could watch the game.A couple things to improve would be the noise - the walls were paper thin and I could hear everyone that got up early; and the check-out instructions were too long.

Great Location, Great Stay

We enjoyed this house and would stay here again. The communication with the owner was great. The home was clean and the multiple bedrooms and multiple bathrooms were great for our group. The kids could watch shows upstairs in the bonus room while adults were downstairs. The bikes were in great shape and we enjoyed the Sharc passes. The location is right near the village which you can walk to or ride to in a few minutes. Overall, a great stay.

Great ski week getaway

This property was a great choice for our nine-person group of two families during ski week. Amazing, walkable location just across from the village and easy drive to/from Mt. Bachelor. The house was clean, comfortable and well-appointed with everything we needed to cook and relax after a day of skiing.

Our family loves coming to Evergreen Lodge! We love the location, just across from the Sunriver Village. We love sitting out on the large deck in the summer and enjoying the beautiful warm evenings. Many times a mama deer and her fawns will drop by for a visit. We love having meals together at the large dining table, and we love the Bonus Room with the large HDTV for movies and sporting events. We also love the layout of this home. Three bedrooms downstairs (including 2 King Master Suites), and two bedrooms upstairs, plus a Bonus Room. Our kids love the Ping Pong table and bikes and all the fun board games and video games. Everyone loves the Private Hot Tub to unwind after a busy day of activities. Evergreen Lodge has it all!
