The Space:

With plenty of sunlit space and comforts to delight everyone in your group, this wonderful coastal getaway will be a vacation destination to remember! Gorgeous views of Lake Lytle await you from both inside and out at this classic, three-story, Oregon Coast home, while miles of sandy beach can be found just a short walk from your door. For mealtimes, the well-equipped, full kitchen is located right off the deck on the main floor, where you'll also find a private gas grill for summertime cookouts. Plus, the open-concept kitchen, living area, and dining area create an ideal atmosphere for socializing and entertaining. This home also includes a garage game room with an air hockey table that's ideal for post-beach fun.



Outdoor activities include birdwatching and wildlife viewing at the lake, fishing for smallmouth bass, perch, and stocked rainbow trout off the public dock, and exploring the many shops and excellent restaurants less than a mile away in nearby Rockaway Beach. The fun is never-ending at this delightful, family-friendly vacation home!

Great stay!

Great location! The house is a good size for a big group and the kitchen is stocked with some spices! There's multiple options to make coffee, a washer and dryer and 3 bathrooms!

Great house in a good location. Great value. The pictures on the listing tells an accurate story. Seven beds with a few other areas to sleep. Good amenities and information in the house. We could never get the internet to work and therefore the TVs would not work. I had to run the TV off my phones service.

Coast Trip

It's a great house in a quiet town. Best bang for your buck on the Oregon coast in my opinion. The home was clean, beds were comfortable and the garage was packed with beach stuff like chairs, kites, boogie boards. I would stay here again.

Family getaway

The house is very clean great location and is fully stocked with all the needs. Great movie options and the kids room was great lots of board games and toys to keep them busy. Having the bikes available to use was a great bonus to our stay.

Friends get away

It was a great spot to be able to walk to an amazing beach for agate hunting, kite flying, and a walk listening to the ocean.

Everyone enjoyed the stay in the house… clean, spacious living space.

A great Family get away with my daughter and her family from out of town. This is their first time in Rockaway Beach. Such a great middle ground for the other beaches we visited in our trip. The house had space we needed.

Great place to stay

My son came from the East Coast with my grandkids. I booked this for them and they said it was nice and clean. They were happy that it had a working washer and dryer. Was close to the beach and they said it was a beautiful place to stay. Also we were happy as we got a text saying they could check in early because it was clean And they could begin enjoying the place. That was a real treat. We will definitely book this place again.

Comfortable family space for beach fun

This house was a great fit for our needs. Beautiful view of the lake, and an easy block walk to the beach. Everything was spotless and so well stocked, we had all the kitchen items we needed and more. For families with younger kids or a different combination of adults, it’s worth noting that the bedrooms are all on different floors and the master (top floor) has a bathtub (no shower). We were absolutely delighted with our stay, and hope to be back again.

Easy beach access

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) were very comfortable in this home. The beach access is very close & it was awesome to have beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards & bikes available. Very easy walk or bike ride around town. We had one maintenance issue, but that was handled the same day. We were very happy with our stay.

The television in the living room and upstairs bedroom would not connect to the internet the entire time. We tried resetting the router but nothing worked.

Perfect place by the beach

I was impressed by how well this was geared towards bringing the grandkids! And…one block from the beach! My favorite part! We enjoyed it so much that we did alot of the cleaning ourselves before leaving, so the housekeeper had a lighter load. My one and only complaint: the top floor bedsheets need thrown away! They feel like horrid sandpaper. Luckily i brough a blanket to lay on instead. House is NOT as big as photos show. Lol

Good for a Family

This was our first stay at a Vacasa owned/managed home. The house itself was good for a family with plenty to do for the kids. The oven, grill, dishwasher, refrigerator and washer/dryer worked although the griddle pan on the stove is decidedly not non-stick any longer. The upstairs bathroom does not have a shower, only a tub, but the basement and first floor bathrooms both have shower stalls. It can get warm inside but we kept it cool by closing blinds and opening all screened windows and doors for the breeze. A seal broke on the toilet before we arrived (top floor) and we were fine using the other two bathrooms during our stay, after turning the water off to the toilet. Contacting Vacasa to report the problem was not easy via phone due to long wait times and there was no owner/manager to text unlike other properties we've stayed in using VRBO. We were able to email Vacasa to report the problem and did not expect a plumber to arrive during our stay since it was reported on a Saturday. Hopefully the toilet will be repaired before the next occupants arrive.

Black mold & not well maintained

There was black mold all over shower doors & in grout in bathrooms & kitchen. There was also an ant problem in kitchen. Vacasa (manages property) are totally dropping the ball. We had 6 guests staying for 8 days & Vacasa only provides very cheap & limited supplies (1 ply tp, paper towels, 5 dishwasher & laundry tabs). The "clean" bath towels had sand in them. Also, too many stairs for my elderly terminally ill mom. I put her in the master bedroom located up a steep staircase because the bedroom on main level has bunk beds & the basement bedroom was tiny & cold. On a more positive note, the owners provided an air hockey table, beach chairs, bikes & more. Unfortunately, none of it has been well maintained. The air hockey table doesn't really work, the chain on kids bike came off 5 times during a bike ride, & the beach chairs were dirty with unidentifiable smuts. However, the location of home was pretty good. Close to beach & w/in walking distance of town/restaurants. Overall, black mold is unacceptable & something I have never encountered in any VRBO rental before. I would not recommend until mold problem is dealt with & property receives proper & consistent maintenance.

Kristi, we are saddened to read that you were disappointed with your stay as we always want our guests to have amazing vacation experiences. First, we want you to know that we take the comfort and well-being of our guests very seriously and the home was inspected and our local manager assured us that no mold is present in the kitchen or bathrooms. They noted that neither the kitchen nor the bathrooms have grout as the kitchen counters are formica and the showers are precast with gold trim and clear glass doors. Additionally, the cleaning done was up to Vacasa's standards and the air hockey table is fully functional. Additionally, our online listings have accurate and current photos and descriptions and we encourage guests to reach out prior to booking if they have questions to ensure that they are choosing the right home for all of their guests. We apologize for the disappointment you experienced and we hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future and provide an amazing vacation experience.

This place has everything you need! We were very pleased with the comfortable space, huge choice of kitchen utensils and board games (my adult daughter said "more board games than I've ever seen at a b and b"), accurate descriptions, closeness to the beach and everything else in Rockaway, AAAAND my grandson caught 2 big trout at the lake! What fun we had. The view was lovely too. Every room had a fan and extra blankets, tons of pillows, comfortable bed. The toys were WON-derful!
